Jazzzzzzzy- good to hear from you!

Steven- Hi, having a good day, my piano finally got mended WOO HOO! So managed to practise my exam pieces through properly without that damn sustain pedal playing up... It only cost 68 quid to fix in the end too, could have been worse!

Kris Richards, in my opinion, the Edge Pro is not a good move on from the Lo-Pro Edge. I've also heard that the Edge Pro tends to fracture, and have certainly seen evidence of this on a Jem555. the Floyd Rose definitely has things going for it - it's made of better metal, and is more bulky so has better sustain, but I can't get on with that design of trem-arm....you know, with the locking 'collar'. it comes undone every time you use the d*mn thing. I would probably go with the Edge Pro simply for that reason.

Lo-Pro or Edge 2 would be an even better choice, if it's a possibility?! that's my 2 cents! hehe

civgeek, I'll have my baked-bean special convert you yet! haha. Cool man, i'll have to visit.....For years, I've had an unexplainable interest in seeing what Portland is like.....i think it might have something to do with the Indy/CART racing, but I'm not sure!
alexandre, haha, thanks amigo! I dunno....I'm just having fun with the way my playing style, tastes, influences and sounds are evolving! I just got my RGT fixed, at a relativle high cost.....the bridge was f*ck*d so I had to get it sorted, so I've been playing the SA1260 almost exclusively while the RG has been out of action. I got the RG back today and tried it a little, but I can't play it.....I'm so used to the SA, I just can't put it down! It seems my tastes have a poor habit of evolving at awkward times! haha
Steven Wilde, thanks for your kind message to us all bro! Keep the msucial flame burning dude, cause when I can afford to (! :-D) I'm coming out to California to teach you to use Cubase with the setup you described! Hope you're allright dude! take it easy, warm regards

962, I was reading your post tooo quickly and thought you were talking about a baked beans "concert" oops my misread. Baked beans concert, a scary concept.

We should send a can of "Clark's" baked beans to Clarky for inspiration (his). I made a feeble and culturally inept joke about Clark's and Clarky a while back.

Best ever use of Baked Beans??? Cover of The Who Sell Out poor Roger

Back in those days someone interviewing the group unwittingly asked Pete "When was the last time you dipped your Roger in a vat of beans?"

To which he replied "As often as possible!!"

Hey Joe,

This is my first post. Missed you at the " House of Blues " Dec 29th in Vegas. I purchased 5 tickets for me and my family. My kids ( twins ) turned 21 on that day. What a perfect Birthday Party. Attending a Joe Satriani concert. Well to our dismay , the concert was canceled. This seemed to be par for the course of our vacation. We has flight tickets through Delta to Vegas on Christmas day. Well you know all the flights got canceled. After 4 airports and 3 flights later we arrived in Vegas the 26th. We went to get our luggage , guess what....yes you guessed it. The luggage was not their. Lost ! They did find the luggage and had it rushed to Vegas. We picked it up later in the day. Well that was not too bad. At least we were going to see the greatest guitar player of the 20th century. We went to get out rental car , they canceled or reservations. I talked to the Mgr. of the company and he fixed me up with a car. " Thank God " . We went to our hotel. Guess what ???? Yes , they canceled the rooms. Again the Mgr. of the hotel ( Luxor ) understood what we just went through and fixed us up. We unloaded our luggage to our rooms and went to lunch. We were all talking about the concert. All of us were very excited to see you live. None of us had been to one of your concerts. I would have but my son plays tennis for Ohio State University and most of the time I spend going to Tennis matches. He is ranked #1 in the Country by the way. Ok, rain was forecasted for Vegas. A place that gets 4 " of rain a year got almost 3 " in 36 hrs. Still the concert was all in our minds. My daughter called me and told me she heard " The Joe Satriani Concert " was canceled. I said "your are joking arn't you" . She said " No dad, I just heard it ". Well it was true. We still celebrated my kids birthday at the "House of Blues ". I bought them their first drink. Well legal drink that is. I bought a few for myself too. I did get a refund on the tickets. I hope that we can all see you in the future sometime. I live in Toledo, Ohio. By the way we all love to listen to your Strange and Beautiful music. Thanks for your great talent, I enjoy every note !

Suzie2000 - Cheers darl... I hope so too.

I have decided that the best drugs arent illegal ones. All you need is a trip to the dentist and then lots of co-codamol. Its the best drunk feeling with the added bonus of no hang-over the next day!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

962: hey man! thanks dude! hope everything is going well w/ you. yeah, the chrome guitar will be expensive, but damn, that a real hot guitar. I am getting it only for 2 reasons: 1) Joe approved 2) its one damn good looking guitar...and i bet it sounds awesome too. So a question, would you choose the js1200 or the chrome guitar? I am debating still. The thing is, I havent heard the 1200 played t hru a marshall amp, only the peavey, which i am not a big fan of. But nonetheless, I am psyched to get a JS guitar. Even a 1000 will make me happy. The part where I am concerned is.....where will the money come from?! I think I'll become a stripper or something...lol

Slanshroom: hey shroom boy! dude, do you have a link of your music? i downloaded some stuff a while back and really liked the acoustic stuff. please send me a link. Honestly, you guys are wayyyy better than half of the stuff released commercially. cheers!

juju: yeah dude, so much work everyday, its insane. but you hit it right on the spot, its a lot of fun as well. I cant wait to start making my own cash and do something with my life. so many options ahead, i'm psyched! & you take care!

steven wilde: thanks dude! how are you? get on Im sometime man. i have some more dime solos recorded now! i cant get my pc back and hear more of your stuff dude! take care!

alexandre: thanks brother! its time to visit your website again. any thing new? any albums? take care man and I will send you the megadeth autograph this week!

Tracie: whats up! wow, that was awesome that you saw joe play live in december...and he still rocked even after feeling sick. are you planning to go to any of the shows in nevada? i think i should go to the one in april. I would love to see satch tear it up again. it will be amazing!!!!! take care!

suzie: hellew! so you guys moved into a new place...nice! yes, getting away from the dirty south was amazing. but the new dorm i am in is all male! no chicks :( but still fun!

tastey: well, i really wanted to hang out with the hippie chick on friday, but i had so much stuff to do on saturday, but i hope to chill with her this wednesday. wisconsin is damn cold, so chilling will be fun!

Hi Joe,
I just want to say a great big THANK YOU for making such a wonderful music.
Since about 15 years Iīve been listening to your music and everytime it puts a smile on my face. This kind of magic money canīt buy. And still there are so many colors to discover in every song.
Your songs make me happy when Iīm sad. And when Iīm happy they make me more happy.
Everybody says you have to listen to many other guitar players as well!! And so I have been listening to many other guitar players as well. But thereīs no need to. Everything I need, itīs in your music.
There are so many guitar players out there running over the fretboard as if the devil is behind them. But none of them is able to create songs like you which do not lose the fascination after listening more than two times.
I canīt imagine living the past 15 years without it.
Get well soon!!!!!!!!!!! I canīt afford to come to your shows in America so you have to come to Germany!! ;-)
best regards thilo.
