Steven Wilde...

It pains my heart to think of your condition, and that it seems you must stay on medication.

I just lost a very dear friend the day before Christmas, so I'm a bit on the tenderized side when it comes to good people enduring hardships, illness....especially the people you know!

God Bless you & yours....Peace!

Steven, so good to hear from you, both with your post and your e-mail. I'm sure you know that many, many prayers are going out from lots of T2J'ers for you to feel better asap! You are such a lovely person!!

Stevee T, good luck at Jemfest, that's REALLY cool that you will be playing there! Awesome dude!

Bahduh, you have mail from me......keep the faith, Jordan will get better soon! And later, you'll be able to look back on this experience as a blur, and one you can share with other new parents!!

Michelle, feel better really soon. I HATE sinus stuff, makes my teeth hurt too. Stay warm and cozy and get lots of rest!

Suzie 2000, yahoo, you're moved and getting settled!! It sounds like you are very happy with the new place...I know what it means to be glad to come home vs. hating where you live, that's happened to me a time or two. Good luck on your piano test, or recital, I'm sorry, I forget all the details...but I hope you got it fixed so you could practice like mad!

Jazzzzzzzy, Austin........................heeeeeelllllllllloooooooo??? I bet you're both swamped with school..just know you are both missed and we are sending good vibes out for your success!

Darren McVeigh, how are you, and how are things in Northern Ireland??

And Civgeek, Matt, how are things in Portland? Did you get snow like we did? It just keeps coming down, some here, some there, just enough to keep us shoveling!!

Joe, still sending out lots of good vibes to you to continue getting better. It's going to be an exciting year, we'll all be watching and waiting to see what comes next!! Good luck at NAMM!! But stay warm!!

Good day to all..........................

Cheese - No, we aren't that lucky. Right now I-5 is shut down through downtown and it 28F and RAINING!! That makes for a lot of Ice. I would much prefer the snow.

Powerslave - I picked up "The history of Iron Maiden part 1: The Early Days" last night. Very cool!! There are 3 concerts on it which I have watched. I'm now going to watch the documentary. I'll post back when I'm done.

Anyone here use the Digitech Whammy pedal? I'm talking about the WH-4, the newest one that you can buy. I bought mine a while ago, and really didn't use it much, but I've been using it a lot. The harmonizer sounds a lot better when I have my DS-1 and then the WH-4, but I get a volume drop and some added bass if I use the whammy features (oct. up). I have no problem if the WH-4 is before the DS-1, but the harmonies sound a lot different than after the DS-1. I wrote to Digitech and they just said, "you are overdriving the input, put the Wh-4 first in your chain..." They weren't much help on how I could fix the problem, because I want the whammy after my DS-1, not before it, because I mainly use the harmonizer and only the 1 octave up, but the volume drop when I use the 1 octave up is very noticeable and too much of a drop. Anyone here have that problem or know what I can do? I'm open to any suggestions. I know Satch uses the WH-1 and has it after his DS-1 and it works fine, but there are differences in the original whammy and the reissues. If anyone has any ideas or knows what to do, please let me know.

Anyways just a idea take it easy and keep up the inspiration. Cactus Tex Arnulfo Salinas

Stevee T ooooooooh I see :-) Well, I discovered some chopsticks in my desk draw which I "borrowed" from a chinese restaurant over a year ago, I was on MSN messenger at the time (as I am most of the time) and I happened to tell my friend about finding them. He suggested I play my guitar with them and there the track was born...coming up next will be my track using the egg whisk :-)

Take care, keep it crazy

civgeek: Yes, they did a really good job on that DVD package. Very well put together....can't wait for the next volume, which should include the Live After Death video amongst others. Not sure if you're a Dream Theater fan or not, but I also highly recommend their Live at Budakon DVD. And I'm hoping that The Reel Satriani will be made available on DVD one of these days.

*hint, hint, hint* ;-)

Steve T: I really like the website. What'd you use effects wise along with the volume swells?

Steven Wilde, good to see your message bro. You're welcome dude, and you know your t2j family are always here man. I don't know how long it takes before your bad periods of seizures subside, but I really hope you're feeling better today, and if you're not, I hope you'll feel better soon! take it easy hombre!
DCK, sorry about all the questions earlier, but you can ignore them! hehe, I did a bit of my own research, found the calling code (I didn't realise that it's 001 like the US!) and called Broadway Pawn a little while ago. They have put the yamaha on one side for me and will contact me, probably monday, about the details they need! Excellent!
Delfino, I'd guess the whisk makes a similar noise to the motor in a drill?! I've not tried the whisk, but have used a drill before (with a plectrum drill-bit I made) and it worked wondefully....I can imagine the kinda noise you're getting! Enjoy!
