Steven Wilde, how are you today? Thanks for bringing light and good "vibes" like you say, to Talk to Joe! I'm doing well, thanks, as I said, I'm studying but I'm not a student :-) hehe, I'm a secretary and I'm just doing a course in relaxation techniques, I'm suffering a minor form of stress.
So you are an amateur musician, great, I've listened to two of your songs for the moment "ATN Overture" and "Beyond Midnight" you have talent, they are really interesting, that freshness and creativity without borders that many times amateurs have are there! One question, what are your musical likings after Joe? Just curious...Have a nice weekend and see you next time, I try to check the page out often but sometimes it's complicated to follow the rhythm of T2Joe, almost 100 posts per day that on the other hand it's great.

bahduh, hi, how are things? Busy days? I'm glad to know that your baby is recovered, you know, when the children are well everything around gets better too! You asked me for my Joe favorites, I've put a separated post- see below- with my favorites for you and for all. Have a nice weekend, best wishes...

marimariSRV, you are at NAMM!!!! That's great! I'm looking forward to read your stories, congrats!

michelle, thanks for the link IBANEZ RULES!

Surfing with the Alien: Lords of Karma - Lords of Karma

Dreaming #11: The Crush of Love - Memories

Flying in a Blue Dream: Flying in a Blue Dream - The Forgotten Part II

The Extremist: War - New Blues

Time Machine: Time Machine - Thinking of You

Joe Satriani: Cool #9 - Down, Down, Down

Crystal Planet: With Jupiter in Mind - Trundrumbalind

Engines of Creation: Devil's Slide - Engines of Creation

slanshroom, haha, thanks....that's quite a compliment! thanks for checking out the tunes, and thanks for the feedback!
juju, haha, thanks for checkin out the photos of maya! I'm sure she'll appreciate it. yeah black and white cats are excellent! When we got her we also got her sister, who was a very unusually-marked tabby....her markings were beautiful, but she was a little stupid at times and wound up getting run over. Maya is much more cautious though
Delfino, good to hear the exam went well. hope things are okay with your sister!
Steven Wilde, hey dude, hows things? hope you're cool bro. I today tried sticking a stereo lead in the line-out on the back of my amp, and the signal came out mono, which is a kick in the nuts. however, next week I'll go down to my 'local' guitar store and have a look at some multi-fx processors and see if I can get a worthy replacement for the one I have been using! The pause in recording is destined to end, and then me and Alex can get back to working on stuff!
the new Chrome JS is nice, but a bit too limited-edition methinks. The chrome-top jem should have had black hardware to match the black body, but it's still nice. The rest of the Jem's are not too exciting......IMHO the Andy Timmons model is the best-looking 'new' guitar at NAMM's ibanez booth this year.
VaiFan666, no the JS2000 has no trem. It's bridge is fixed, with trem-type fine-tuners for...well, fine-tuning. I personally think it's pointless.....it's not what you buy a JS for. And if you do want a fixed-bridge JS then what the hell is wrong with a JS600?! hehe. Anyway, my choice would be the JS1000. the 1200 is overpriced, the only difference being the colour and one of the pickups, and a pickup can be replaced for 65 bucks!

Well,

I just spent hours searching the U.S. Pantent website.

I found the patent for the Rockman, Rocman Bass, and other circuits patented by Tom Scholz (Donald T. Scholz!), the lead guitar player and creator of the popular rock band called "Boston".

Interestingly enough, he patented a few automatic string tuners for piano, as well as for guitar. They resemble the Floyd Rose type of bridge, etc.

I now have schematics to referance while repairing my Rockman!

I'll answer you 'cause you won't wanna wait until Joe answers. (lol) He recently said that he will gig again in Europe this Summer so I think he should come again in England. Or anyway, if it's not in England, you can book a Ryanair's flight... Cheers!

Hello Joe,

So Sorry to hear about your illness. I am glad to hear of your impending recovery. I am a Philadelphia guitarist/instructor. You have been a major influence on my playing, composing and idealogy over the years. I recently finished my first solo guitar CD. I wish to send you a copy as a gift. This is not a solicitation in any way. If there is a correspondence address you feel comfortable sending me, I'd love to get this out to you. Again, thanks for all the inspiration. Stay well.

Hi !

Stevee T : Yes sure ! Better days to come ! I just learned that next summer I will play in front of 40 000 people ! Listened once again today to your music on your site... Cool !

Zenfish ! Busy Busy, yes... Thanks God, it prevents me to think to much about my gone lover... Ha ! Have you any of your stuff somewhere on the Internet... I learned much with your EVH posts... Did not knew he was so rough...

Mikesb : I never heard about the Normandy Shredder before... I tried his stuff today... I really don't like his cover of satch boogie, but his song "The Mystery of Mars" is reallly cool... Original... I think he slighly took inspiration in "Lords of Karma" for it.

Slansh : If the "Rite" pleases to ya, it pleases to me !

Peace BEEDOO
