Hello Joe. My name is Christa, I am a singer and I'm living in Germany. In May 2004 I met my greatest love. He plays guitar and he is a great fan of you. Sorry, but I never heard from you before. Since I know my "love" I know you and your music. I love your music, specially the song "Always with you, always with me". My boyfriend Dieter practise this song all the time. And in October 2004 Dieter ask me to marry him while I'm on stage in my city. And before he made his "question" I could hear your song. So I knew what will happened when I saw him with red roses in his arms, while your music plays. And now, whenever I hear your music, I must think of this special day and I am so happy. Thank you for your great music. My greatest wish is to make my husband a beautiful gift. He likes to see you live on stage. I hope that you will come to Germany soon. Then I will have a surprise for him and go with him to your show. Sorry about my bad english. I learned it for 9 years and I left school in 1985. This is the rest of my english. I wish you and your band all the best and I hope that you'll soon get well. Christa

Steven Wilde, haha, I wish I had some money so I could jump on a plane right now.....I could so use a break from being here right now.....the winter weather gets me so wound up!
Pitch No 8, I wish Eric would release anything on DVD! I need to get his 2nd tutorial video at some point, but that's just not the same! hehe
jazzzzzzy, AHAHAHAHA! dude that's f*ck*n hilarious! You're killin me man!
Then why does the JS100 have the "JS" neck while the others have the "Prestige" neck? Are the 1000, 1200 and 2000 shaped like Joe's biological neck?.......priceless!
Why dont the JS guitars come with a replica of Joe's hat?.....maybe Ibanez are still working on an exact digital rendering of that too?!
Powerslave, I use a Creative Inspire 5.1 system.....it's not actually connected to my PC, it's connected to my XBox, but it's the same principal. if your PC has a decent soundcard, especially if it has an Optical Output, then I can thoroughly recommend the Inspire 5.1 system or something like it. It's not particularly expensive, and sounds brilliant. then again, you'd have to decide whether to use it on your PC, or with something else like a DVD player or something......DVD sound is amazing through it 5.1!

I'm just another one of those 15 year olds who sits listening to your solos wonderin how the hell you do it. I t can get me a bit depressed come to think of it lol.
Hope to see ya in concert sometime. Your music means alot to people so keep releasin' albums. Speaking of albums was there ever a CD released of "Live In San Francisco"? coz i want to put some songs from it on my MP3 player

Yoda - thinking on it some more.... yup.. Stella is a good 'fighting beer'.. lmao..
mikesb - lmao... it's just the thought of chunks of lard in yer beans.... eeeuuuuwwwww...
SteveeT - hahaa... the contorsions occur every time I pick up a guitar.....
if you ain't pullin' faces... you ain't playin'.... lmao..
pitch no 8 - 1664 has been a key element in the research and creative thinking throught the development of this CD...
which is why it all sounds to pissed up... lmao...
not seen that movie... is there lots of sex and killing in it?
slansh - both solos are done now.....
they're pretty unusual... well for my style of playing they are....
it's an odd sort of cross between Lukather and Malmsteen.. but with lil' ol' me playing and not those two monsters... lmao...
Lukersteen??... lmao....
for me this stuff was a real step out into places that I don't often go... it was a lot of fun with some interesting challenges..
this weekend I'll try to get everything on to CD and hopefully pop everything in the post on Monday morning...

VFR - That is comforting to know that it shouldnt really hurt. Mind you, it cant hurt anymore than it did before I had the nerve out.
Suzie2000 - My tooth just has a constant ache now but I was told that it would for 2 or 3 days. Today is the third so hopefully it will start to calm down tomorrow. Time for more pain-killers!!!

NAMM MAN, Sorry to disappoint. The Socrates story is NOT an attempt to propagate pinko pacifist propaganda (whoa, nice alliteration). Simply passing on, like others do, one of the many jokes, stories, and accounts I get in my in-box everyday for the bemusement of others. . Having said that, I think the primary and consistent tenet of the piece is that it is not always wise to shoot first and ask questions later….. Civgeek, re John C. and Sticksville.. Just a poor attempt at some pointed humour with a real, rather than phoney town such as Schlong Heights Indiana... lol

Bahduh, I thought I read something about your b-day being "tomorrow", which was after the 17th. Guess I shouldn't read the forum when I'm so tired. lol!
Christa, nice story. Very romantic :) Your English was fine.
Mowlie, what did you have done? It sounds very painful! The last time I had dental work done on my lower teeth, the dentist must have hit something when she was poking around with the needle of novacaine. I had pain from the middle of my chin up into my ear in my jaw. Hurt like a bitch for about 2 days. Don't forget to drink a lot of water with your meds. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Stevee, that's exactly the way I look at it - and me mum still loves me too :) lol! Thanks!
SOTD - I'm The Hell Outta Here by little Stevie Vai
JOE, hope you're feeling better with each passing day.

Cuth, Namm - I too, like the user fee system better than a straight tax. Here, in Oregon, we have a high state tax (9%). To the North in WA they have no state tax, but do have a sales tax. Both states do have good size property taxes also. Having a sales tax to me, from a citizen's point of view, makes more sense bacause if you would like to participate, you can. Go buy stuff. If you don't want to contribute as much, fine, grow more crops, make more stuff, etc. The other point is that sales offers no loopholes. You tax is , for the most part, directly related to you income. If you have m,ore money you're gonna spend more. Therefore it is a more balanced system.
With unions. I think they had a pupose. The industrial revolution was another form of slavery for many people. But now I think that if you are in an industry that is not giving your family enough so that you can have a good life, that is not the fault of the employer, it's your fault. Making $22/hr as a carpenter was not cutting it, so I got out. It didn't make sense to continue doing something that was not a benifit for my family. As for working hard in unions, if you look around the office you're going to see about the same distribution of people who really get things done and people that are just coasting through life.

well I finally played at my wedding. I posted a note 3 weeks ago about it. I played "cryin" and "always with me always with you" on my guitar for my wife at the wedding. She melted into a puddle...I made her cry too. Seeing her cry made me a little nervous, so I missed a few notes in the scales in "AWMAWY", but overall it was great. Thanks for all of the support :).....I needed it. -We just got back from Dominican Republic "Punta Cana" for the honeymoon....it was soooooooo relaxing down there.

Zen, I had a similar Lukather experience that I posted here once before. Luke was invited to jam with Beck and Santana (in Hawaii I think) (as you may know Beck is Luke's God) When his turn came, Luke leapt out in front and played every scale he knew like a demon, not in any way attempting to add to/participate in the groove that Santana and particularly Beck had attempted to gel... I still think Luke is a great great player, got lots of his stuff and DVD's but I lost some respect for him the day I saw that video.....

Cuth - My union exposure is a little different. Both my dad and I were union carpenters and we have a lot of tradesmen in the familia. i'd have to say you didn't see any slacking off on the crews I worked on. It was an eye opener for me. I thought I knew how to work hard but it got taken to a new level. My favorite line from one of my favorite foremen is "The only thing around here we carry ones and twos of is you dick and your balls. Now go grab a stack and get movin'." Classic.
EDIT: forgot a word
