Nope, other post must have been too long or something. Just more history and me dumping my soul on the message board. Whine, whine, whine. :)

My Kramer has a Floyd Rose II, the handle rattles if it is loose.

I got my TAB from [link url="http://www.mikesguitarsite.co.uk"www.mikesguitarsite.co.uk[/link].

You or anyone else here understand when I need to tap and when I need to pick on the leads? I thought P stood for pull-off since H would be hammer-on, but powertb says differently. I figured out the small "s" subscript meant slide.

I'll just have to go slow like CIVGEEK suggests. Old habits die hard.

Can anyone tell me if that TAB is acurate on the leads?

I'm about ready to hacksaw the bottem cut-out off my Kramer.

Up in the 20th fret range, my forearm gets wedged in there trying to play the first hammer-on pull-off in Flying In A Blue Dream"

Actually, my left hand is ok with the fingering on that part if I treat it like a bar-chord (index finger across all four strings).

Right hand still trying to figure out if I need to sweep pick, or tap.

i never used a wah-wah pedal before, and don't own one either, so crush of love would be kinda weird.

Always With Me/Always With You is cool.

I am just trying to learn scales and build my speed. But the leads are much more fun than a plain old scale!!!

But, I digress. After playing for longer than both my kids ages added together, I can only play better than Slash!

HAHAHAHAHHAHA. Better than slash. I think my 7 yr old is better than slash.

I never liked GNR, just RATT, Def Leopard, AC/DC, Boston, Kansas, Eagles, Boston, Judas Priest, Quiet Riot, Boston, Nazareth, ......

Does Joe Like Boston. Tom Schultz it deemed a genious, and I really think he is when it comes to composing and mixing music. He may not be as fast or good as Joe Satriani, but I have tried to play like him for so long, It's like I'm cheating on him. When I hear Joe play, i wanna save the world!!! Put on my superman suit and rescue damsells in distress.

Joe's music is very inspirational, and I believe Joe is the best ever!!!

"Semper Satriani!" (our new slogan?)

Steven Wilde, Steven, I'm fine...you know, working, studying and reading Talk To Joe hehe you are so kind, I hope you feel better soon, even not knowing each other personally, I notice for your messages that you are incredibly friendly and transmit lots of good vibrations over here! By the way, I have the link of Above The Numbers in a bookmarks folder, I save links of new guitar music there, I let you know what I think when I have some time..., take care

Ollyno1uk: "Ollysguitar.com is my site. If you know of or have any other backing tracks then let me know and i ill stick em up there"

OK, I let you know!

meandmrvai: "On a side note i heard a song a while back called Somewhere Over The Rainbow and the artist was apparantly Joe Satriani..."

It's not Joe, it's Chris Impelliteri.

bahduh, hi! I've just heard about your birthday, so... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Janam Din Ki Subhkamana! ;-) I hope things are going better for you and your baby, you've got mail, best wishes

Everyone, If you have the song "Yai Yai" by Steve Vai available in the Guitar World magazine February 2005 CD-ROM and want to do a swap, please email me at lucysorets@terra.es
Guitar Word is sold in Spain without the cd :-(

Edit: I said January instead of February ¿!%&

Niners pick Nolan to be new coach

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- Baltimore defensive coordinator Mike Nolan accepted the San Francisco 49ers' head coaching position Monday and began to negotiate a contract to take over the team that had the NFL's worst record last season.

Nolan, a longtime coordinator for four teams who has never been a head coach, will replace Dennis Erickson, fired earlier in the month after going 9-23 in two seasons out of the playoffs. San Francisco went 2-14 this season.

After wowing 49ers owner John York in an interview Thursday, Nolan accepted the offer Monday and flew to York's home in Ohio to work out a contract.

NEED EXTRA CASH ? ? ?

Earn Easy Cash in Your Spare Time...

BOGOTA, Colombia (Reuters) - Colombia on Wednesday invited the world's bounty hunters to scour its jungles and mountains and drag back rebel chiefs in return for cash rewards.

"It would be great if all the bounty hunters in the world came to capture those bandits. The money's there for them, and the rewards are good," Vice President Francisco Santos told reporters.

The Colombian government has put rewards of up to about $2 million on the heads of outlaws like Manuel "Sureshot" Marulanda, veteran Marxist commander of the 17,000 fighters of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

Santos' comments came after officials said they had paid an unspecified reward to an anonymous informant who helped them catch Rodrigo Granda, a top rebel who authorities called the FARC's "foreign minister."

Granda's capture has caused a diplomatic squabble with neighboring Venezuela, which says he was kidnapped from a street in Caracas. The Colombian government, which has long suspected Venezuela's leftist President Hugo Chavez of sympathies for the FARC, insists they nabbed Granda within their borders.

Colombia's war with the FARC and other illegal armed groups has lasted 40 years and claims thousands of lives annually.

President Alvaro Uribe owes his 70-percent approval rating to a military campaign against the FARC but the group's top commanders keep safe in hideouts in the country's extensive mountains and jungles.

But Colombia is outgunned in the reward stakes by its ally the United States, which has offered up to $25 million for information leading to the arrest of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
