Stevee T, I like the sound of the sample song. But I would like to hear the full album to judge better... Is it expensive? I'm in Europe, how can I get it? I've just seen a photo of you with Satch: you're lucky... I think (at least judging from the sample...) that your songs could be really really good (I mean to be really appreciated worldwide) if you do like steve vai: what I mean is to have a point at which you let people see the technical part andb some good and melodic speed ups... you see what I mean? 'Cause I think the theme of the song (with that wha-wha expression) is cool...

Re: The_Leperakorn No one comes to Canberra, be an non-conformist and help set a trend, where would you be without live music??

with all due respect :) you said it yourself - no one goes to Canberra. in fact i'm surprised Joe has included Perth, because most artists/bands miss us out because we are too far away. i think we are lucky Joe is coming to Oz at all man, we have Mr. Vai to thank for that. i hope you can get to Melbourne or Adelaide, any of the gigs......i know your education is important, but to see the worlds greatest guitar player - missing a day of school is quite acceptable - we'll learn more from watching Joe in 1 night then we did/will learn from school in a week :D

i'd be flying east if he wasn't coming to Perth - joe saved me a plane trip,

hope you get to the gig :) BigBunny.. . . . . .. .

Howdy joe, (if you read this) I'd just like to say, thank you, For actually making the music that you do! you've inspired me to pick up the guitar and learn, i've been playing for 2 and a half years now, and, without sounding big headed, I think that i'm not too bad at all.. i learned satch boogie last night :D Anyway, the reason i'm sending this post is because i was wondering, is ther any chance that you would be able to come to Northern Ireland for a gig???? I have decided Australia looks like a nice place to live...despite the creepy crawlies but then again Ireland looks rock-o-rific and its closer to home lol

962- Thank you for asking, the new house is excellent, we've really settled in now. There are a few jobs to do to it, but nothing too major. It is so nice to go home after work and look forward to seeing your home- we had about a year of the opposite! Not being happy where you are living can ruin your life, (not to mention your health!), I know that sounds a bit melodramatic, but I think true! Hope you're having a good weekend too :-)

Once again thanks for your interest in my music/site.

www.stevetrott.com

You can hear samples of the whole album if you click on the BLINKING listen message just to the right of center on the home page screen, or in Discography too.......

(you may have to temporarily disable your Pop-Up Blocker)

As for how to obtain a copy of my new CD Eclectivity, I will be offering free copies to TJ2 members before the end of this month....Joe's welcome too...lol!

Thanks again, and let me know how you like the rest of the songs. If you look in my right hand in the picture of Joe & myself (in the photo section) there's a CD copy of one of the songs I wrote for Joe that I was about to hand him called "Take me away Joe"...it's on my website....Peace

Strange thought...if you painted Joe, Jordan Rudess and Maynard James Keenan all blue you'd get the "Blueman Band" from the Pentium advertisements...

Al I'm usually really picky about where I live, at the moment Ireland is my number 1 choice...but thats because the accent rocks and all the Irish girls I've seen are hot lol

Take care

Death Cube:Maaaaaaaaaan, how do y scrub the hard drive for free?or do i have t buy the software?cant access win zip or nothin after the reboot,Thought y might know.I,m lookin forward t hearing sound clips from youself & other peeps here.I,m a total PC newby in terms of informatics, had this PC just for 3 years & its a first. If y can,a dummys guide would be amazing.I,ve got 2 XP & a windows 2000 on my comp, seems its getting confused, let alone me! i want t scrub the lot now i,m done, any help would be amazing,ie what kit t buy if i have t do a full clean up,i just figured y,d know having tech knowledge.Any help would be more than welcome.

On the V guitar combo idea, only a couple of things missing from that for me,it uses bridge pickups on the saddle t send sound, not fond of that idea myself,if it could do so from say a neck out of phase mid humbuck pickup somehow,i,d buy.I pick very close t the saddle for the string tension, the same prob for me is with the sustainiac system, does that make any sense?

DCK, do you happen to know how many hours behind GMT your timezone is? Is it 5 hrs? Just wondering, in case I need to phone Broadway! Also, what's the canadian national/international dialing code? You know, like the US is 1 and the UK is 44, what's yours? Sorry for all the '?'s dude! hehe

Suzie, no that doesn't sound melodramatic at all, I know exactly what you mean. if you're dealing with something every day which makes you miserable or unhappy or uncomfortable or whatever, it will become a source and focus of all your negative emotion, and will make you physically ill. Things like that can easily cause depression or meloncolia, for example.

I used to get that exact thing every day when I went to college. I'd get up feeling depressed cause I had to ride the early-morning bus for an hour and a quarter then spend the day stuck in the sh*ttiest hole you've ever seen labelled as an 'institution', but every lunch time as soon as I walked off campus I suddenly felt relaxed. And the same when I left in the evening....it's crazy, but it happens, so I can sort of relate to what you were going through, although for me it wasn't so bad!

I'm really glad for you that you've got some where to go home to where you can relax....somewhere you can look forward to going home to! It's good news!

Am having an ok weekend thanks, although have just found out how much small to medium costs can quickly become large, unexpected expenses! Oh well, that's the way the stale, tasteless, cheap tesco's-own cookie crumbles. haha

Damn I sound miserable!

Sorry Vai (Steve Vai), yesterday I said Stephen Trott whas better than you. I feel as I should ask sorry 'cause you have worked so hard to become like that! And, after I heard your "For The Love Of God", I remembered how good you are... Not saying though Stephen Trott is bad. I think those two steve's together could make a lot. LOL! At least I have the same opinion for JOE: Joe: you are the best of the best! Trott rated 6, Vai Rated 7 but Joe rated 10,000. Nobody will reach you. Love You! --------------------------------------------------- Stevee T: why don't you consider recording on top of your songs some good and clear solos. What I didn't actually like is that the solo is too delayed

Ibanez89,

HaHaHaHaHa...just being grouped with Satch + Vai = huge happiness...lol....Clarky had made a similar comment about the solo being buried & with lotsa reverb & echo on the "Amex" cut...I buried the solo...cause when I mixed it down they way I really wanted to hear it...the effects were too pronounced...the cost of live performances.....oh well

www.stevetrott.com

My next CD, which I've got all the basic tracks will show much more clean studio...annihalation, chops, balls, soul...& (a beautification program too) I'm realy excited about it...more in lines with the style of the Master Sir Joseph Satriani

Thanks again for your interest & zeal!

Steven Wilde...

It pains my heart to think of your condition, and that it seems you must stay on medication.

I just lost a very dear friend the day before Christmas, so I'm a bit on the tenderized side when it comes to good people enduring hardships, illness....especially the people you know!

God Bless you & yours....Peace!
