Was wondering why there were so many posts, then I saw the blue...

Hi all! And now for some personal anecdoty stuff. Remember this spider story? Well yesterday after returning home from the radio station (same place I got the other one) I got out of the car and there it was on the door. In a mad panic I slammed the door and looked around for a large object to attempt to smoosh it with. Not finding anything, I was limited to my sandal, but the mongrel was so huge this was not going to work. It ran quickly to the front mudguard, and no joke it was so big its legspan was the width of the mudguard. I swiftly kicked the guard and ran away, so as not to give the huntsman a chance to touch my foot. It scuttled away to the next car, and I lost it. I went around the other side and saw my neighbour's cat looking intently under the car. Not sure if it caught it or not, but I left my car out in the sun anyway (it was 30 degrees yesterday) because they like the shade and hate hot cars.

Shudder.

Cheese I originally put a dud link in for the purpose of finding it later and then putting it in with an edit. I was banking on noone trying it in the meantime. I had it working before your post came up so I'm guessing you just missed out. Try it again now.

anyone (for whatever reason) wanting to know what it kinda looked like, these are pretty similar. Warning, there's a really gross close up.

Stevee T, ahhhh..... Like natural harmonics, or...

I get it, the feedback actually causes a sympathetic vibration in the string, thus causing a perpetual note? Just as a the wind blowing at a certain velosity can make a bridge vibrate and colapse. Cool.

Anyone here ever read Tin-Tin books? I did as a teen. I remember the professor guy in one story made some sort of giant speaker that caused earthquakes or something.

Thanks Stevee T. Oh, how about the distortion or tone settings? And does Joe use a compressor or chorus?

I have a compressor from Ibanez, an DOD Ice Box chorus, and a DOD digital delay pedal. Also the homemade Marshal Blues Breaker pedal an som cheap Arion distortion pedal, and an original Rockman.

bigbadmoon1889 You could maybe build one? I got some plans for one, but I understand not everyone has solder running through their veins like me.

Actually, I hope their is no solder in me.

I did a google search a while back for "guitar effects schematics", and hit the motherload. Tons of factory and homebrew stuff.

I just like taking things apart and fixing stuff. My home made Marshall Blues Breaker distortion pedal sounds good with no noise, but the homemade box is kinda funny looking. :)

Since it was a "Blues Breaker" I put a super bright blue LED in it. It has an unpainted polished aluminum box, so the LED looks cool in the dark!

Hi Joe,

A few questiions.

I was listining to the Mark and Brian show earlier this week and they had Eric Johnson on and they had asked him if he would tour on another G-3 tour with you. Eric said he would love to and had a great time with you and Steve Vai. Can we expect another great G-3 tour from you three again soon?

The other thing is, when are you going to put out some more DVD's. I have every one and I watch them constantly and I know you have a ton of great songs and other material you could share with us.

By the way, I don't care what anyone says.....your are the # 1 guitarist of all time. Keep up the brilliant work Joe.

I'm going to through rocks at my guitars now!!!!!

Best Wishes to you and your family.
