Steven Wilde,
Listened to the vocal songs on your site...on the first one the the guitar sounded like the 1st song on the 3rd disc of Live In Budakan...and the vocals were soothing...I can see why Buzzy liked it! Keep up the great work....Peace!

SteveeT- despite the fact that you obviously think Katie Melua is a fine looking lady, what do you actually think about her music? Wishy-washy or cool? (I think option [a]...)

I'm so worried about my interview tomorrow...I've got this horrible feeling in my stomach that when I go into the waiting area there will be stacks of kids like me, except they will have portfolios coming out of their asses with photorealistic 3D renderings...
Maybe I'm just being paranoid...who knows, but its really got me thinking about how bad my 3D work is at the moment.
Currently pissed off because we asked the head of music if we could use the practice room today...we get there and there is NOTHING in there, I was planning on playing bass and they took it away as well as every amp and left 1/4 of a drum kit. Apparently there is a rock concert in a few weeks and all the bands need the stuff to rehearse with, which is fair enough, but why tell us we can use it if we can't and then at the last minute say "I recommend you don't start a band unless your planning on playing in the concert"...what an asshole...makes everything a bit harder but we'll work around it.
Is anyone else on here into CKY? I'm really into their stuff at the moment, its so different to what I usually listen to...I like their style.

Suzie2000,
Do you like fog, clouds, waves washing against the seashore?
When I was younger (in my Hippie days) I liked Hendrix, Santana, Clapton, Page & the mellow stuff like Judy Collins, Joannie Mitchell...Andres Segovia, Jon Lucien, George Benson...l like it all...as long as there's a true musical talent present...if Katie Melua sounded like someone stepped on a cats tail...I wouldn't listen to her, but....I might spend some time with her...as long as her soul was a peaceful one...I think she's got a natural voice, and plays a decent guitar in her genre.
Thank you for asking!
Steve

ESTRELA and OTHERS:
you're like me (estrela) when I first joined this BEAUTIFUL site. Yes, everybody loves Joe in here and every guitarist in here dreams to do at least half of what Joe did. For me, I'm still young and I really believe I have a FULL chance to get like half like him. You know, tecnically speaking, it's not so difficult getting like Joe (I practise 15 hours at day in summer and 7 the other days. BUT THE INVENTIVE that Joe has.... I need to make a jurney and get the inspiration from the world 'cause if with the practise I get the tecnique, while I'm practising, my inventive part doesn't actually evolve ' cause I'm in a room with the tic-tac sound of the metronome! hehe...
I'll guess I will get in touch with you, Estrela, 'cause we both like posting in here... (of course you other guys as well in here...).
Apart that, the name "estrela" is female, isn't it?
And apart that as well...
I've bought new effects!! WOW!!
DS-2
CH-1
DD-3
crybaby
whammy-4
and I've order a JS!!!! I had the money left for guitars to get even 3 js1000 BUT I'm just in love with the 100... for the colour and I actually like the PICKUPS of it... although theoretically, dimarzio are better... Well, in music, tone is personal, and I can just the same get the satch tone of the js1000 with the 100.... the neck is quite good, it's not a prestige but if treated well, it's not that different from the 1000 and the bridge is great. I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Hope hearing from you all soon.
Bye and take care!
