Well,

I just spent hours searching the U.S. Pantent website.

I found the patent for the Rockman, Rocman Bass, and other circuits patented by Tom Scholz (Donald T. Scholz!), the lead guitar player and creator of the popular rock band called "Boston".

Interestingly enough, he patented a few automatic string tuners for piano, as well as for guitar. They resemble the Floyd Rose type of bridge, etc.

I now have schematics to referance while repairing my Rockman!

I'll answer you 'cause you won't wanna wait until Joe answers. (lol) He recently said that he will gig again in Europe this Summer so I think he should come again in England. Or anyway, if it's not in England, you can book a Ryanair's flight... Cheers!

Hello Joe,

So Sorry to hear about your illness. I am glad to hear of your impending recovery. I am a Philadelphia guitarist/instructor. You have been a major influence on my playing, composing and idealogy over the years. I recently finished my first solo guitar CD. I wish to send you a copy as a gift. This is not a solicitation in any way. If there is a correspondence address you feel comfortable sending me, I'd love to get this out to you. Again, thanks for all the inspiration. Stay well.

Hi !

Stevee T : Yes sure ! Better days to come ! I just learned that next summer I will play in front of 40 000 people ! Listened once again today to your music on your site... Cool !

Zenfish ! Busy Busy, yes... Thanks God, it prevents me to think to much about my gone lover... Ha ! Have you any of your stuff somewhere on the Internet... I learned much with your EVH posts... Did not knew he was so rough...

Mikesb : I never heard about the Normandy Shredder before... I tried his stuff today... I really don't like his cover of satch boogie, but his song "The Mystery of Mars" is reallly cool... Original... I think he slighly took inspiration in "Lords of Karma" for it.

Slansh : If the "Rite" pleases to ya, it pleases to me !

Peace BEEDOO

Zenfish :

Avec plaisir !

Je veux dire à propos de Van Halen que je ne le savais pas autant au tacquet avec les journalistes... Il faut dire qu'avec ce qu'il a enduré avec son cancer etc... Je reste amateur, ça va sans dire.

beedoo,

Glad to hear you're moving forward on this heartache.

Where will you be performing in front of 40,000 people?

Thanks for listening/liking my site/music.

I enjoy yours too!

Brice...the link did not work this time.

Brice,

Le lien n'a pas travaillé cette fois !

Zenfish,

It's so very important to anticipate your love making with your instrument...if it does not beckon you...then maybe she's not the right instrument. good luck finding your mistress of music.

peace, love & happiness

Hello all,

First post for me. Call it a new year's resolution. Get myself to send regular regards to joe and the fans. It's very refreshing to see the random posts and general good vibes amongst the fans..a nice contrast to cliche chat rooms..not that i am a big fan of those. I understand why satch has decided to call this 'a stream of concsiousness'. Well, a little about me. I'm french from tahiti, was stufdying in fiji and had a bad car accident last year august. Still in hospital but in New Zealand since i got transfered here for treatment. The beautiful thing in this whole mess is that i get to see satch in march. I have the tickets and Joe, i can already feel the power of the music from a month and a half away. I can't wait man..but will. No idea what hapened to you but seems you're past the recent blues. It's good news. I'm sure you'll be celebrating recovery by putting even more soul into your music..if it's possible.

Admire your work and ethics and general character..love your music. Keep it up and keep well. Thanks.

For everyone else, nice being part of this. Take care all.

Et pas fache de lire un peu de francais de temps en temps. cela me remet quelques boulons linguistiques en place.

come to me March...come to me slowly but surely.

Stevee T the acousticaster is shredalicious, in many ways easier to run scales on than my Tele. I love it. Sounds a little banjoey unamplified however with a hollow body but no "f" hole but hey that is cool by me. Never understood why they went with the big eq plate and wide range sliding controls? Mine is black on black so not so noticeable.. I will send you a picture of my 3, yes thats right three Godins!!
