i had a gutiar, played for about 3 months and then it got knikced and now ive notin to do in my evenings again (quietly sobs in sleeve) but dint worry i still have my sanity... i think. their tricky thingds to keep tabs of, and whats trick to find tabs of is songs of bands that are still fairly new.

ps im not insane

962 I ended up going into college in the end lmao...I knew that my english teacher would have something to give out with regards to coursework so I went to see her conviniently as the lesson ended and was told she was in a foul mood...so the phrase "oh f*ck it then" came to mind...but then I realised how important the handout might have been so I picked it up anyway...She seemed to be alright with me, I mean I obviously looked like a pile of crap because one of the "rubanesque" guys in college asked me if I wanted a hug...then jokingly asked me to meet him round the back in 10 minutes lol...

Anywayz I got home and my mom had got me a load of stuff to get me feelin' wicked again. I also got some practices arranged with my band so hopefully I can get better soon so I can get into playing "Let the spirit fly" by Racer X for the college band night in the summer. (alongside other songs ofcourse)

I also booked the table at the chinese all you can eat for saturday for me and my friends. I'm hoping to stay until they ask us to leave lol.

Right well I'm off to drink plenty-o-fluids and sleep.

Peavey really returns your mails Hahaha Almost like Joe said, I send a mail to peavey suggesting for a 60 watts JSX combo, and next day they return my mail (are they good or what?? = ) ), Peavey said that they are thinking on realising the 60 watts combo or at least the JSX combo with the *Power Switch* that Joe told us on the post before NAMM.
Take care everybody ; ) read you around HAHA

Thanks Steve Wilde, I also like your tunes, tell me what gear do you use for your songs. Some times it sounds like if you were using a roland FX.

I heard that you hade complication with your lungs over the holidays I hope that your ok now. I know how it feels 'cause I also have lung complication myself . Hey love your music , love your style and the band.

The last time I saw your concert was back in the early 90's at the Ottawa congres centre and it was a awsome show my ex-gilrfriend even caught a drumstick that your drummer swong in the crowd , it was awsome . Keep up the good work and much success in your career.

Hi Jazzzzzzzy- today was better, mainly Tuesday was so crap because I usually have three learning support assistants in my class of autistic boys, and that day I had... none, due to staff shortages. So the day was a bit wacko, to say the least! Why was your day so crappy by the way? Or are you trying to forget about it (sorry...!)

Stevee T- Thanks! Hope your day got better in the end too!

Michelle- is it still snowing? Still no luck here...

Steven- hope your day is going well today! Thanks for the e-card by the way, that was really kind! How's everything?

I was listening to "Is There Love in Space" last night and it occurred to me that Satch never disappoints. Album after album (correctly stated...CD after CD) is full of impressively listenable chops. I can still pull out "Surfing with the Alien" and find new details to each song that make me go, "wow!" I hope you continue to make strange and beautiful music for all of us to enjoy.

Hy everybody at Satchland,

Hope you are all well ..... :-)
getting 27 today! Happy b-day to me, happy b-day to me! :-)
But no b-day party this year ´cause no one of my family and no one of my friends has time to celebrate this happy event :-(
.......and it´s snowing like crazy outside.....
So I´m sitting at my computer at home and watching “G3-live in Denver”; Joe, Steve and Yngwie doing their ultra-cool performance on stage and reading the posts of the site to know what ´s goin´on here.....and - of course - playing my guitars – like performing Hendrix “Red house” with my chrome boy, that ´s tuned down one half step using the EXL 125 .009-.046 strings from D´Addario .....
Also read the news of the new “Alumaboy” (JS2PRM) and Steve Vai´s new “Bad horsie” – really cool guitars, but I started to ask myself, how this genious people at Ibanez produce such beauties like the Chrome boy or the new Alumaboy...
Has anyone of you ever asked yourself how this guitar-finishes are produced? I´ve asked myself, because for me it is a very interesting question (I´ve attended an higher technical college and I´m specially interested in that question, but I couldn´t find it out exactly yet), so has anyone an idea?
The only thing I know is that they use "chrome passive metalizing", that ´s nearly the same like the galvanisation process - to coat the guitars with the metal finish, but I would like to know exactly how it´s done (the whole process), no one could help me until now - I´ve also sent an e-mail to the people at Ibanez, but they couldn´t help me, because they are not allowed to tell any details about production process...
Anyone of you who can help?

Would be great to know how it ´s done...... thanks .... tune ;-)

Steven Wilde, hi, how are you? I haven't been here for some days...hmmm I feel a little guilty :-) I've seen your messages, it's so cool of you! You have a good taste in music, Vai, Zappa, Beatles, Jeff Beck... they are some of my favorites too ;-) I'll definitely check more of your tunes. I'm doing great with my stress, it's nothing serious just a period of discomfort and dissatisfaction, you know the daily routine... :-) but I decided to enrol in this course, more to prevent, and you are right, I need an extra dose of Joe's music! hehe I'm glad you are enjoying the process of making music, it's great, and don't worry about the difficulties, like someone said "music must be composed by ear, feeling, and instinct, not by rule" I guess I have a new website to add to my new guitar music bookmarks folder: www.stevenwilde.com ;-) I'll check it out soon. Lots of good vibes to you and see you soon, excuse me if I don't reply as soon as I wish...By the way today in Madrid we have a strange snowy and sunny day >><<

bahduh, hi friend, how are you? you're busy these days, right? but you are always remembered here :-), sorry for the missed post, it's a drag! I always save a copy of the message in a .txt file just in case... I will send you that pending mail as soon as I can, best wishes

hadley, I only know of one biography of Joe, it's written in Italian, it's called "Joe Satriani - Il sogno della chitarra totale" (The Dream of the Total Guitar) by Max Mingardi & Gianluca Verrengia:

This is the cover:

foreverjoe, Sam, thanks for posting that link, you have made my day. If someone missed it here it goes:
NAMM video of the Peavey JSX combo: http://www.foreverjoe.com/main.html And go to latest news

estrela, congrats! Joe is the coolest!

Joe, I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling great, you look fantastic in the NAMM Peavey Video, and congrats for the award!

By the way, if you live in Japan, look what I've seen at vai.com:

G3'05 - Japan
SV, JS, JP. Stay tuned...

It sounds interesting...

markbrewer38, I totally agree, one of his gifts and one of the things I like more of Joe is how his music grows with the time...

tune, Happy Birthday!!

G3 05' is going to kick so much ass...I remember my friend asking Joe about the G3 with JP on it coming out on DVD and he said it would've been a really good one to put out on DVD...this is the perfect opportunity. :-)

Fingers crossed y'all.
