CIVGEEK,

can you dend me a copy of your pickup wiring instructions?

are the other pickups less sensitive or something, so that you had the gain turned up higher than normal? I love a good wiring puzzle. That's what gets me going in the morning.

I'll be lurking. I'm turning AIM on right now. I put civgeek in my buddy list. :)

Drummer Ryan Vikedal Leaves Nickelback

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Nickelback is down a drummer following the departure of Ryan Vikedal.

Vikedal has been with Nickelback since its debut album in 1996. His decision to leave was announced in a short statement from EMI, the multiplatinum Canadian band's record label.

"At this time, no replacement for Vikedal has been named and the band wishes Ryan all the best in his future endeavors," the statement said.

Fronted by Chad Kroeger (news), Nickelback is currently working on new material in its home base of Vancouver.

Originally formed in Hanna, Alberta, Nickelback rose to acclaim with songs such as "How You Remind Me" and "Too Bad." The band is up for a Grammy Award in the best hard rock performance category for "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" on the release "The Long Road."

Gives New Meaning to 'Phone Sex'

NEW YORK (Reuters) - This is one cellphone you might not want to set to "High & Vibrate."

Porn star Jenna Jameson is now hawking her "moan tones."

For $2.50 fans of the ubiquitous porno queen can choose from a variety of moans, grunts and lurid sexual noises all recorded by the blond bombshell.

If that's not enough, Jameson will talk dirty to you when you phones rings, in English or Spanish.

Jameson, who recently wrote a best-selling memoir, has launched the venture with Wicked Wireless, a mobile music and entertainment company.

Also available are color pictures of the porn star posing naked that can be displayed on your phone for $2.99.

"Rock stars make music tones, porn stars make moan tones," said Dennis Adamo, head of Wicked Wireless. "We thought it would be an interesting novel approach of introducing new content to the mobile users."

Jameson's charms are already being downloaded in Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela, and in a couple of weeks will be available from Mexico to Uruguay.

Latin American users can download a moan or a picture for $1.00 each, while U.S. customers will pay $2.50 for a moan and $2.99 for a wallpaper once the service is launched.

Some people were shocked, but others said they wanted more from the product.

"If you can get her to say my name then I would buy it. I need that kind of personal attention," said New Yorker Julian McCullough.

U.S. users will have to wait to get Jameson on their phones as no mobile carriers in the United States have expressed any interest in carrying the service.

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital with an oxygen mask over his >>mouth and nose, and still heavily sedated from a four-hour operation. A young nurse appears to sponge his hands and feet. "Nurse," he mumbles from behind the mask, "Are my testicles black?" Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, I'm only here to wash your hands and feet." He struggles again to ask, "Nurse, are my testicles black?" >>Finally, she pulls back the covers, raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in her other hand, takes a close look, and says, "There's nothing wrong with them!" >>The man pulls off his oxygen mask and says very slowly, "That was very nice, but listen very, very closely: are ... my ... test ... results ...back?"

Subjest: Inner Peace

I am passing this on to you because it definately worked for me and we all could use more calm in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on a Dr. Phil show, I have finally found inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started."

So I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, so before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainer of both Prozac and Valium perscriptions, the rest of the cheesecake, some saltine's and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel. Please pass this on to those you feel are in need of inner peace.

LucySorets and Stevee T, thanks, glad you liked the "What is Love". And yes, kids can be so smart, sometimes smarter than adults about stuff! They are so uncomplicated in their opinions at those early ages!

Steven, yay! You got a "new" guitar! That should perk you up nicely!! If you're anything like my son, it is now your most favorite guitar!! Have a great day! And keep playing!

Bahduh, Mark, my son and my dad both love wrestling, WWE or WWF or whatever they call themselves these days. They have their favorite wrestlers too, and it's always the good guy. They LOVE to see the "bad guy" get beat in a challenge! And the way my dad twitches in his chair silently as he's watching is really hilarious. They are both very intense when they watch!!

Michelle, Mari, Austin, Jazzzzzy, where oh where have you gone? :)

Hey Joe!! Listening to G4 at the moment....sounds like so much fun and so much good music!! Looking forward to Ventura!

Steven Wilde lol What possible reason would I have to be mad with you? :-)...I'm very sorry about not responding when you were sick, I hope you're feeling ok now?

I'm alright thanks for asking, it was the quickest head cold I have ever had, which is lucky really seeing as its my birthday tomorrow, 18 at last...and I've got an interview at the University I want to go to. :-)...I can't wait.

Again, I'm very sorry I haven't responded in so long, its just carelessness on my part when it comes to reading posts I must've missed messages for me by accident.

Anywayz take care man, new tunes coming soon :-)

ok...1 more...

After retiring, I went to the social security office to apply for Social Security, the woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age.

I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry but I seemed to

have left my wallet at home. "I will have to go home and come back later." The woman says, "Unbutton your shirt." So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She says, "That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me" and she processed my Social Security application. When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the social security office. She says, "You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten disability too."
