How would u feel if u had the chance to go to a Satriani concert that u had been waiting for your whole life? And then how would u feel if u couldnt go because of some shitty age restrictions that are imposed at basically the only venue in Australia? And how would you feel if the same thing happened with Steve Vai? Jus coz i'm sum 14 year old obsessive guitarist who idolises satch, who probably won't ever tour australia again... (only nobodys like greenday ever do,) As i quote Satch - guitarists who got lazy... THEN whos lazy now... Probably me all i do is play guitar all day. Dont worry ill still buy your tickets satch, just like i did vai's, and then i will try to hide behind my dads back. so if u see sum dejected kid outside the Melbourne gig in Australia... Say Hello... and if anyone wants to make me feel like im listening to greenday or some punk scum tell me how awesome the concert was when its all finished.

962 thanks :-)

We've often thought about moving overseas, somewhere I'd choose if I could would be Florence in Italy. I just love that city...in fact many places in Italy would be better than London!! You never know, one day... I've looked very vaguely into the possibility of getting a teaching job over there, and it could be possible (except I would have to learn to speak Italian first!), also my husband is a guitar teacher so would hopefully get work too, so you never know.

BigBunny:Ok,i,ll try my best not t get into a long debate about this so here goes

you said:i don't know about you but throwing stones at a kitten, riding over it with you bicycle & kicking it onto a railway track - is f*cking cruel!

Couldnt agree more, but isnt stuffing 15 dog pups into a tiny cage, pissin & deficating on each other, leaving them there till someone buys them & eventually when someone does, they get a wrap over the head which not always kills them outright, then there thrown into a boiling pot...i mean where do y draw the line?Thats what i meant by needing an open mind if y travel t Vietnam. I dont eat meat 99% of the time myself primarily because i happen t believe killing & eating an animal is wrong, however i dont have a problem with those that do,including you Bugs.

Zenfish:I,d be tempted if it were last year on the amp,but i,m buyin her new this time.Guarantee for the year etc, thanks for the heads up anyway bro & thats a long time for 2 tracks, wow, should be interesting

Ovation 1:Sup bro, gettin much time in for the chops these days or is it still chaos at the base?laters amigo

....lol, before I hit the hay (it's for humans too, no??), I saw your post slanshroom ;-)

All is well man, things are settling around here now, just waiting for half the aircrews to return, so lot's of time spent on maintenance these days.... We'll be back to a normal (somewhat, lol) schedule soon, and the chops are coming back slowly but surely.... Thanks bro, and tear it up with the Clarkmeister!!....

L8taz now....

"Namm Man, jazzzzzy wasn't saying that you hate the French at all. He was saying that you wouldn't be happy bout the fact he'd (jokingly) made a prejudice comment! but it wasn't prejudice cause it was a joke......irony, I dig that, it's clever! "

Wrong. FAGGGGGGGGGGGY oops I maen JAZZZZZZZZZZY, was trying to imply that I don't like being invaded by the frecch because they are aginst the war. Why would he bring up my name anyway? When he was gone we had no problems here at t2j. The first thing he does when he gets back is insults me. I let him have the last word but thats not good enough for the little shit, he has to throw in the french comment. If you look back at his posts, he is the first one to start shit, ususally because someones beliefs are different then his. So fuck him, I am tired of his shit. I suggest you stay out of it.

alexandrecaetano,

Hey Alexandre,

How's your back doing....hope your using a forklift! We just got around 18" of snow, and the winds are forecast between 40-50 mph, so I'm about to put my back in harms way. Glad to hear you're fine. Chomeboy=Beauty=$$$!

Peace!

Zenfish,

Eric Johnson is a very sober, calm guy....the guitar reflects his demeanor....yes?

I finally found a tab for Racer X's "Let The Spirit Fly"...one of my most favourite songs.

I'm also learning some more scales, currently the spanish scale then I think I'll try to write something using it before I move onto something else.

Anywayz I may not be posting often this week, exam on monday for 3 hrs, then the rest of the week I will be guitarring like a madman, jamming with my new founded drummer and then saturday its my birthday and I have my interview at the university I want to go to and partywards with my chums where I may care to indulge in many an alcoholic beverage.

Take care y'all

Flamin_Axe,

Do you know any good makeup artists? Hmmmm...how, could a 14 year old Satch Fan get into a concert venue that has a minimum age requirement...legally that is?

Sorry to hear of your predicament.

Clarky - Would you recommend tuning the bottom four strings of a seven string in fifths from a low C in order to perform the Bach 'cello suites? It seems like the only way to get the correct articulation...

Indiana Jones,

Very cool link to chromeplate anything...even wood..it seems, but there's nothin like the real thing!

New Chromeboy

Do they chrome plate guitars, or would someone need a trusted spraygun artist?

You would need your own spray gun artist. The specs on the paint say 95-98% reflectivity plus considering Ibanez is only making 60 Chromeboys its a pretty good alternative...cheaper also.I've seen it on a bike in person, hard to tell it apart from real chrome...the site even says you can touch-up chrome plating with it.

Indiana Jones,

Yeah the link is very interesting, I found a custom shop in Calif. that will spray your guitars with custom airbrushed paint designs, and probably chrome/aluminum plate it with mirrachrome.

If I can't get my hands on one of the 60 New Chromeboys, I'm considering having my Luthier custom build me my own axe to spec, maybe with a combination of Chome tinting with some airbrushed stuff, and all the nasty electronics, neck, maybe locking tuners instead of nut, with a wicked trem.

That would probably cost half the amount & I'd have my own custom built axe reflecting (pun intended) my own tastes.

I'd still love that New Chromeboy though!

Peace!

Stevee T Sounds cool, I'd love to have my own custom built guitar made to spec. T'would rock very much indeed.

A telecaster style body, 24 fret neck, edge-pro bridge, custom pick ups, and in one of those paint jobs where it changes depending on what angle your looking at it from, and the colours would be, white and light blue...so it looks all icy and sweeeeeeet! lol

hey all...

its amazing the way that music can totally change your outlook on things... (i know you all already know this but anyway :)) so i was just coming back from the grocery store and shut my finger in the jeep door (OW!), and then while putting groceries away i got the mother of all paper cuts (double ow!!!) but then ac/dc's big balls came on the radio and what else could you do but smile and laugh? ;)

anyway, hope all have a great weekend, and those of you in the middle of the blizzard hope all is well, come on out to denver where it is to be 62 today! :)
