Had my 1st guitar lesson today i can play like just want to progress my playing a lot more very gd teacher he is very fond of you to. The band I'm in is now official. Last night about 1/2 way through rehearsal we had the cops show up!! That is so cool. He said that off the record we sounded pretty good. He had sat outside and listened for a bit. It was only 6:30PM. We've only been practicing at my drummers house for about a year. This was also the first practice of the new year so we had the money from our New Year's gig waiting for us. So what does a music guy get with gig money? Strings and CDs, what else. I'm jammin Vai's Flex-Able right now. Then maybe some Linkin Park, G n R, or some Y & T. I think makes for a good afternoon.

alex_z, you need to choose a single-coil pickup for the middle position on the Ergodyne, right? I would strongly recommend checking out DiMarzio's HS2 pickup. It ought to compliment the PAF Pro nicely, especially when combining the two for a crisp clean sound. It's powerful enough to work with the Fred too.....anything too gentle and the middle/bridge pickup combo will sound thin and useless!
dopeking2003, you should get your DiMarzio's from Coda Music, they're the cheapest in the UK. 65 quid per pickup plus a fiver for postage. http://www.coda-music.com/pickupindex.html check the DiMarzio page from that link to browse their stock. You will have to order over the phone though. Trust me, these guys are great, I've got quite a bit of stuff from them and it's always been great service and has arrived the next day.
jazzzzzy, haha, yeah it cracked me up......."we saved your little country from Hitler". that was inspired! There was never any real threat.....Hitler wasn't going to invade Britain.....his bombers may have hit us hard but all the action took place in France. Nobody actually saved anyone from Hitler, technically, cause he shot himself in the head with his sidearm. I guess someone needs to do their research ;-)

I just checked out those auctions.....the JS10th is cool, but the words "this one is for lookin at, not for playin" made me chuckle. what a load of bollocks, guitars are made for playing, that's the whole point! hehe
Powerslave, do you have Gregg Bissonette's first album? Ty plays track 3 on there (entitled Dr. Toulak).....he's the daddy, his tone is really cool!

962- I know what you mean, e.g. various areas in Spain could be to avoid if you don't want to live next door to loads of ex-pats. Some people do though, and I can understand that as well! It's a good idea to have a plan though...

962: damn right. the troll needs to do his research. and LMFAO, "a load of bollocks!" hahahahahahahahahaha! you're totally right, guitars are made for playing, not for looking at. have you looked at www.chellee.com Some sweet ass guitars there. OCPS got his from there...man, those guitars look too sexy...I love how the horns look so funky. Reminds me of Les Claypool's bass guitar...I love that funky stuff. later man!

Hi to all!
I have read somewhere that I can get joe's pick if I send stamped enveloped with my address. That could be a problem because I live in Serbia and I cannot get US stamps around here :) Is there any other way, cause I'd really like to have one?
Also, do you plan to play somewhere near?

Hey Everyone.... Sup tool, hows school? Yo Death What's going on man. I was really happy when i found out joe and ibanez were releasing the NEW CHROME JS, which is aluminum coated (Alumiboy) basswood Js with chrome pickups, and slightly larger mirrored inlays. And a phazing switch or something. Anyway I was happy until I was told they are 5400.00 and only 60 of them are being made.
