Mowlie You have a PGM? I am jealous lol...I love PGM's lol

C# tuning rocks...probably one of my favourite tunings...of ALL TIME EVER!!!

[quote]"I wish when I was younger, when I asked my parents if I could learn the guitar, I wish that they had said no as trying to carry all the gear around is a pain in the arse!!![/qupte]

I'm quite the opposite, I wish my parents had let me pick up the guitar when I originally wanted to...when I was 8...not when I was 15 lol...Atlhough I'm not as geaful as you are so I don't have a hard time carrying it around lol.

Steve Wilde No problem man, one of my friends really loved it when I sent it to them lol...Hope you well and take care :-)

Michelle : Nothing wrong with crying when appropriate. Ever had a paper cut on your tongue? It'll make you want to ;-)

I finally got around to reading some of that new issue of Guitar World today....the story about Dime giving a guitar to the boy whose dad had lost his job and couldn't yet afford it was pretty nice. Gives you the warm fuzzies (no, not tarantulas).

Yep, I have Music of Mass Destruction, but I haven't watched the DVD yet. I just got Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and I figure Angelina Jolie in a black leather flightsuit is a tad more eye candy than Scott Ian.....no offense to Scott ! Priorities, ya know. *LOL*

Over on e(vil)Bay, I just saw a DVD set of the Guitar Legends show from '92 in Spain... gotta have it......this is gonna be an expensive year for buying stuff. Already, I've got a list of CDs/DVDs/books as long as both my arms put together. Not to mention a JS1000 BP, an ESP Viper Standard, a JSX head (maybe a combo instead),...and....and....and. This is a bad pattern!

General question for all and sundry: Is anyone here ar really hardcore Satch memorabilia collector? I'd love to see some pictures of the various tour posters and T-shirt designs from past tours.

I'll cross that bridge to never never land when I get there. But even though there is no proof of it, I somehow doubt I can have a baby.

CIVGEEK Thanks for the link to foreverjoe. I downloaded the 3 video files I could find.

I converted them to AVI then burned a super video CD (SVCD) Now I can watch it on my DVD player!

Big Bad Moon 1889 You are welcome.

Now if only I could get hold of some real Satch DVD's, especialy music lesson DVD's or videos.

Better yet, real lessons with the master himself would be awesome! Huh Joe? How bout it?

I know, I know. 93,105 members on this site. That would be unfair.

But, maybe you could see about taking a short drive to Eureka, Ca USA to play. You would have to leave have the stage gear home.

We just have a movie theater that was converted into a live theatre, unless you performed outside at the Rwedwood Acres Racetrack, Humboldt County Fair Grounds in Ferndale or booked Humboldt State University's indoor auditoreum. They have a pretty big auditoreum (better security) and an outdoor football field.

I went to a concert in Redding, CA where only about 20 or 50 people showed up.

The opposite was Eureka Muni Auditoreum (the size of a school cafeteria with a wrap around balcony) where the band packed the stage with Marshalls so there was only about 20 ft x 10 ft of stage room. It was packed, and you could not even hear the person yelling next to you. No seats either. Standing room only. That sucks.

Later guys and gals,

Ed, KD6AAJ

SUZIE2000, Hi! tks a lot ! actually this site and all these people that I've met here has really cheered me up ! lol ! .................... ...................................................................................................

ZENFISCH: I have just finished watching "ghosts of mars", it's a good thriller, for sure ! but, do you thing that we have to look at the space and come up with that vision ? ............................................................................... I know that is art, but i have another vision from the Space, unfortunately some powerful men seem willing for destruction, and might destroyed our Earth and even Mars..and i'm nothing talking about the movie anymore, i'm just talking about the whole thing, I wonder why spending billions of dolars in space while there are so many people on Earth dying in poverty... what's going on with some people's mind ! politician's mind.... everything in the name of powerfull ! Bin Laden killing people in the name of his god ! oh come on ! Bush killing people (including american'soldiers) in the name of Petrolium !!! oh! come on!!! ..................................................... THE good thing is that there are many GOOD PEOPLE on Earth that vibes positively, that really believe in GOD, and God is Peace, Love, Life, Happiness !! God is that thing that makes you smile without any reason, Let's celebrate Life ! IS THERE LOVE IN SPACE ? YES FOR SURE ! Otherwise the Universy couldn't exist ! love is the reason for existence! Let's celebrate LOVE, PEACE, LIFE AND MUSIC !!! Yeah!....... .........:)............:)........................ :) .................:) ...................:)

I think they're spending so much money of space because they wanna move all the ppl that live in poverty. so that they can live in poverty somewhere else. or well die. Another one of those conspiracy things. like the car that runs on water.

Well, I must be insane, but extremely happy in my insanity... Just bought tickets to go see Joe at the Grove in Anaheim on April 7th, then we're heading to Ventura the 8th to see him again!!! That will make 5 concerts in 8 months woooooooooooohooooooooooooooooo! And 4 of them are the EWJS shows...can't get enough of Joe and the guys!!

And oh yeah, my son is coming along too!! Of course! Anybody else going to either of these 2 shows? Can anyone tell me what the venues are like? Both are general admission standing room only, any ideas what time we should get there to stand in line so we can be close to the stage? I KNEW I was gonna love April!!!

Welcome to all the newbies, it's a great place to be!
