Oooohhhh!!! Here's a hard one. Think grandparents. Good luck!!!

Good night, sleep tight and pleasant dreams to you
Here's a wish and prayer that every dream comes true
And though it's always sweet sorrow to part
I know you'll always remain in my heart

Good night, sleep tight and pleasant dreams to you
Here's a wish and a prayer that every dream comes true
And now 'til we meet again

Adios, au revior, auf weidersehen.....Good Night!

civgeek, thanks for the tips. i have to get a new rack anyway because i noticed that not only is it too big for the rack, but it won't even stick out the back anyway so i couldn't even screw it in if i wanted to. what a shitty thing.

punkdude and michelle, what's up, long time no see.

Zinc/ Steven W Thanks guys :-)

962 No problem man.

Civgeek A degree in Civils ? Too much for me man, I got a Higher National Certificate but the prospect of the maths for the structures elements just put me off. I was working at the time I got the HNC and a part time degree after 4 years of study didn't appeal. To be honest with you, I'm just a good project manager / people person........... I've got a lot of on the ground experience and I paid my dues doing a lot of hours in the past...................... kinda got a break 5 years ago and grabbed it with both hands. It's cool, I'm only earning the same money but i'm not on 350 hour months anymore. Transportation is a good field to go for, I've thought about it myself, as landfill is a declining industry, but I knock out about 200 hour months at the moment, the money is an incentive to stay and my daughter's still young so I like to spend my weekends with her before she starts going and doing her own thing. Must be tough changing fields ? Did you go for the pay cut / on the job training option or did you study while you were still a chippie ?

Michelle Nice thoughts............... look at the sky don't look at the gound.................. at the moment I have enough of a problem trying to get the little one to look where she is going - lol She's forever bouncing off door frames !

achoo, hola, ¿que tal? I remember I spoke to you twice some months ago, are you still taking Spanish lessons? If you have any queries, I'm here, have a good day

Steven Wilde, hi, I'm doing great, how are things with you? I'll spend the weekend in the mountains (Sierra Madrileña) I need some nature power, and I'm doing very well with my anti-stress course, the teacher is cool and funny, I have to ask Mark (bahduh) about yoga hehe. I hope you continue enjoying the wonderful process of making music, by the way which part of California are you in? San Francisco? Enjoy the sunny days, the sun is always a good vibration, and I send you lots of good vibes and good karma too you too, see you soon

death cube k, I'm sure the Talk to Joe cd 2 will be as great as the first one :-)

bahduh, hi! computers are always making pranks he he, I hope to have some time on Monday to reply your mail, sorry for the slowness, best wishes

Stevee T, hola, ¿que tal? So you like spicy meals like Turkey chili? mmmmm you should try the spicy Spanish sausage :-)

962, so you are taking a break of Dr. Vai's music...I have some of his albums in the vault too hehe, right now I listen to a lot "The Ultra Zone" and of Joe "Not of this Earth". This one is like a rediscovery for me. About the Aching Hunger part II in Holland in June, I wish I could go, I listened to the radio broadcasts last year and the concerts were awesome, but I can't afford it. Vai is planning to do in July more orchestral stuff with the Italian orchestra in Rome.
"If I Could Fly" is the song of ITLIS? that most impressed me at first listening, it's like a breeze of fresh air in a sunny day...those breezy chords are exquisite.

estrela, olá, como váo as coisas por ai em Sao Paulo? :-) I'm doing well, I love to see your enthusiasm for Joe, he is the best. You (and Ibanez89) were asking about a photo of Joe with Rubina and ZZ, here is one:
http://www.satriani.com/2000/road/2000-08-10/foto8.jpg
and this is one of ZZ with Joe and Steve Vai:
http://www.satriani.com/gallery/2004_G3/DSCN5480.jpg
ZZ has Rubina's eyes and Joe's beautiful smile :)

(Thanks to Do The Stu, who posted this before)

By the way, I love Brazilian modern jazz, do you know Nando Lauria? He is going to come to Madrid in June with Pat Metheny, I can't wait to see this concert! Tem um bom final de semana!

finstad4, about my favorites songs of Joe, I love all but at this precisely moment my favorites are Memories, The Journey and Searching.

Zenfish, Joe SATriANi, SAnTANa LOL

michelle and all the US football fans, have a nice SuperBowl Sunday!

Closest Flyby of Large Asteroid to be Naked-Eye Visible By Robert Roy Britt Senior Science Writer posted: 04 February 2005 01:31 pm ET

An asteroid expected to fly past Earth in 2029 will be visible to the naked eye, scientists projected Thursday.

It's a once-in-a-millennium event. And you may want to buy plane tickets now, as the flyby will be visible only from Europe, Africa and western Asia.

There has been no event like this in modern history. Some people have seen dramatic fireballs created by small space rocks blazing through Earth's atmosphere. And two house-sized asteroids have made closer passes. But they were not visible without telescopes.

The 2029 event will be the closest brush by a good-sized asteroid known to occur. The rock will pass Earth inside the orbits of some satellites. No other asteroid has ever been clearly visible to the unaided eye.

The asteroid is roughly estimated to be a little more than 1,000 feet (320 meters) wide.

It won't hit

The rock, catalogued as 2004 MN4, was discovered last June. It was seen again in December, and for a time scientists said it had the highest odds of hitting Earth ever given to a space rock. Subsequent observations refined the future path and eliminated those odds for the 2029 flyby. It won't hit the Moon, either.

This week, NASA scientists used new observations from the Arecibo Observatory to further pin down the track of 2004 MN4.

On April 13, 2029, it will be about 22,600 miles (36,350 kilometers) from Earth's center. That is just below the altitude of geosynchronous satellites, which hover in fixed perches above the planet to communicate with and collect data on half the globe at all times.

Of the ten known closest asteroid flybys, 2004 MN4 is by far the largest object, said Steve Chesley of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Only two have come closer, and they were only tens of yards (meters) wide.

"All of the others in the top ten were discovered during the close approach, whereas for 2004 MN4 the close approach is predicted well in advance," Chesley said in a telephone interview.

Last fall, an even larger asteroid made a notable flyby. That rock, called Toutatis, is about 2.9 miles long and 1.5 miles wide (4.6 by 2.4 kilometers). Its closest approach, widely photographed, was about four times the distance to the Moon. It was not visible to the naked eye.

mowlie, you can get Guitar Wars from this site: http://www.revolutioninternational.com/. If you go down to the bottom right-hand corner of the home page and enter Guitar Wars in the advanced search field, and choose to search "title" from the list, not "full catalogue" you'll find the CD and limited DVD editions. The DVD is 43 quid and worth every penny!

Stevee T, Guitar Wars is something that Mikey D got me switched on to.....it was a show starring Nuno Bettencourt, Paul Gilbert, Steve Hackett and John-Paul Jones. It was filmed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Tokyo (i think it was Tokyo! hehe) to mark the venue's 25th anniversary. It's a really awesome DVD - Nuno's set is fantastic, but all 4 guys play top-notch stes, and the jam at the end is excellent. Nuno plays drums, and Gary Cherone guests. Definitely worth getting if you can....sorry, I dont know where to get it in the US :-(

Re. S2000 being quicker than a Boxster....not any more I'm afraid! haha, the new (997) Boxster rips, and is a serious contender against the entry-level 911 Carrera.

S2000 is ace though, very cheap and a great size. What was the problem in the snow? Was it the grip or the interior heating?!

LucySorets, that's a shame you can't afford to make The Aching Hunger Pt II. however, he's doing something similar in Rome, you say? that's mighty tempting! yeah I guess I'm taking a break a bit...I listened to him almost exclusively for a few years, but as I've got older my tastes have started to change a little. I'm a bit more into Joe than Vai, and tend to listen to Joe, Andy Timmons, Nuno Bettencourt and Eric Johnson most of the time. Same story with Dream Theater....i went through a comprehensive 'Theater phase, but now haven't had the patience to listen to them for about 8 months! I still dig Vai though, it's going to be really good to hear something fresh, with the new album coming out!

If I Could Fly for G3!

Steven Wilde, yeah I'm not bad thanks dude. A little pissed off to tell you the truth, but about what, I'm not realy sure....

"Mulholland Drive" eh? Have you seen the movie? It is the most random movie I've ever seen, I still don't understand any of it! David Lynch cracks me up, he's such a nutter!
