I am drinking Pepsi tonite. Hell yes.

DCK: The guy obviously didnt make mistakes while putting the pics up. He didnt know anything about any of them except for Tremonti (assume he's a creed fan). Also, spelled "Vai" as "VIE." Nutcase.

I'm having a problem with Soundforge. I can hear the sound of my guitar from my computer speakers but the sound monitor is not showing any signs of getting a signal. I did check the "monitor" box but still cannot it to record anything. What should I do?

jazzzzzzzz...make sure you've routed your signal through your pc's mixer. Click on recording side of the mixer and make sure the box is checked. I assume this may help some, I don't use Soundforge, but I figure it's all simular.

Clouday... let's talk about BLUES.

Yesterday, i've seen a program about Chinese Interior Martial Art... A master was saying that this art gets two great steps: the first is to learn the gestures, & learn & learn, & practice until a perfect level. & then, & only then, the second step can start: the interior feeling of the energy in all gestures.

Listening to this guy, a little light has suddenly said two me : that's exaclty the same way than the BLUES.

So a great thanx to:

Barbecue Bob, Skip James, Charlie Patton, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Son House, Leroy Carr, Charlie Spand, Memphis Minnie, Ma Rainey,Tampa Red, Bessie Smith, "Pine Top" Smith, Sleepy John Estes, Memphis Jug Band, Louis Amstrong, Lonnie johnson, Big Joe Williams, Tommy McClennam, Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup, Robert Johnson, Kokomo Arnold, Casey Bill Weldon, Washboard Sam, Johnny Temple, Roosevelt Sykes, St Louis Jimmy, Memphis Slim, Georgia White, Jimmy Yancey, Curtis Jones, Bea Booze....

Edit: ........ Blind Boy Fuller & Sonny Terry, Brownie Mcghee, Jazz Gillum, Big Bill Broonzy, Lil Green, Sonny Boy Williamson, Champion Jack Dupree, Big Maceo, Doctor Clayton, Josh White, Louis Jordan, Joe Turner, T-Bone Walker, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Howlin' wolf, Screamin' Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, BBking, Albert King, Lucky Peterson, Son Seals, Luther Allison, Ike Turner, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Melvin Taylor, & of course,

Charlie Parker... oups sorry.... Jimmy Hendrix..... Jim Morrison....

Steven- I'm fine thanks- just having quite a busy week-end. Matt had to play Classical & Spanish guitar music at a do last night, and I went along to watch. It was pretty cool, although he plays all the time around the house, I don't actually often get a chance to really listen and watch, if that makes sense?

Michelle- prayers for your step dad XXX

Michelle:Well all has been said that needs be said, prayers & a big hug from us here in Barca. On a lighter note how old is yer young un Miguel & has he tried the swingey round the neck thingey Steve Vai fashion at anytime with the bass?Just have t run a couple of storys by y if hes not.lol

Jazzy:Thanks bro, yeah i,m currently trying t get the basic techniques of flamenco together in order t sit in if y will with some of these guys, have t say i,m not having much success with the required skills at present, right hand thumb & fingers stuck in strings the majority of times, lol.I have met & jammed many times with an amazing flamenco player & relatively unknown Ricardo Garcia, the man has a right hand technique & tone t die for,but he left here for France, for various reasons, mainly i think because if you have published material the french government will subsidize a pro musician if hes out of work, which i think is a great idea, means he doesnt need t teach french & can concentrate on where his heart is.His family is half Andalucian so the gypsy blood is in there, needless t say we got on from day 1,lol,yeah i really miss that cat,its an honer t play with someone so gifted & great fun playing electric geetar with someone who comped so well, gave me the kick up the rump i was needing,my chord & rhythm skills were, erm, lets say poor in comparison t his,lol

hoiguy 79/Jazzy:On Siempre Amor, there a story behind that lil toon,The backing music was provided by Invisible Boss yet another musical collaboration i was involved with & was titled originally Daves song.Well i had no workstation or samplers t create a backin for a melody i,d written years ago & this somewhat magically fitted,so i asked the lads if it would be ok t use what they had & well... the rest is history, have t say i cant wait t own my own workstation, its really frustrating having t keep asking friends t help y out, this year please god,i,ve a whole barnyard of stuff in my head itchin t get out

Zenfish,juju808,Stevee T,Alexandrecaetano,Michelle,VFRrocker,Death Cube,Jazzzy,Steven Wilde,Clarky,Fabbollox,lol & anyone i,ve missed,you guys are the best,thanks for your kind words of encouragement,i,ll get round t posting t y all later,must work,adios for now peeps

Jazzzzzzzzy I sent you a mail about "The Power Of Beef" using the address on this site? Is it the correct address or do you use another one?

Anywayz, that picture was hilarious, I think the guy just got confuzzled when putting the pics into place lol...never knew Joe had a beard and tattoos...just like I didnt know Steve Vai was also under the alias of Steve-vie lol

Steven Wilde I checked out your songs again, and I loved em'. I listened to all of them and they're very interesting tracks indeed, you're definitly one hell of a guitarist, are you going to submit something to the T2J2 cd?

On the talk2joe project - (and I still eed to buy a CD. I'll look later to see how to get one or two). Where did you get the publishing done and the CDs made? Any suggestions for me? I will be looking at a lot of options but wont do me any harm to ask here too.

Thanks

Steven Wilde, dude, i'm getting worse. yesterday I was just randomly pissed off, but then last night my laptop (on which I do all solo and joint recording projects) got ill. It's still sick this morning, and I think it's dying. My mother has said she'll forward me a loan to buy a new PC, so I gotta get cracking, cause if I don't, I'll miss the opportunity to try and write something for submission to the T2J CD II, and I really don't want to miss that opportunity. I'm so annoyed right now, I'm on the verge of getting in a destructive mood. Thankfully, I have an entire collection of Eric Johnson music to listen to! hehe. hows things with you amigo?

My band has our first gig since July on Wednesday!! I can't fucking wait - it's been so long. We're sounding better than ever now too, with our new singer and much tighter sound. The last few months have been very well spent; lots of hard work... The gig is a Battle Of The Bands, so fingers crossed it all goes well!!!! Although, to be honest, I doubt we'll win since we have virutally zero commercial viability... LMAO

DCK - Sweet, thanks man. *thumbs up*
