hoiguy79 you can send it as a zip file or as a regular mp3 . as long as its under 10 mb it will work fine
zenfish thx, the new track i am working on is about touch and swinghard! hopefully it will not suck!!!
fablawyer we set it up as a publishing company . its pretty easy to do. for duplications , we used cafepress.com.. cause we did not have any money.. its worked out pretty good for us. if you have the money get duplications done.. copyright all of the material, sell it on cdbaby and guitar9 .. and the project will do fine!

Delfino Dude, have you got a bird fetish ? lmao ;-)

Mike SB Inspirational indeed bro'............... wow... I checked out a guy (whose name I can't remember), who was an 80's shredder but fell to tendonitis, he turned to playing acoustic and singing but still uses his old sound clips to supplement lessons on his site............. I thought that was inspirational but that guy is something else............. humbling man.

Fab lawyer I agree man, we live our lives more by our daily actions and less by our achievements.

Michelle Good vibes to your stepdad and family, I'm sure that 'the rock' will pull through just fine. I was very touched to read your acceptance of him and his contribution to your life - you are lucky that you are already aware of that, so that at a time like now, you can focus on what matters and being supportive without feeling guilty over a personal revelation of that nature. A lot of people only wake up to that kind of thing when the shit hits the fan, you're ahead of the game girl - as usual ;-) Stay positive!

Slan, Miguel is punkdude - my son's name Alex. lol! He still has all his teeth, so I don't think he's tried the bass spin yet. lol! He's 13 and he keeps trying to get together with the kids who play at school to make a band. He says nobody is good enough. lol! The one kid who played guitar thought he could play all originals. He didn't need to learn any cover songs because he wanted to make his own music. That was interesting for about a minute. lol! It was loud...and very bad. lol! There are a few kids who can keep a decent beat on the drums though. Tell me some good stories. I'd love to hear them. Thanks for the prayers & hug :)

Yoda, congrats and good luck on your gig.

VFR, thanks hon.

Suzie, much appreciated :)

i've taken the step forward to start teaching people guitar

I have my first 'student'..13 year old kid, no guitar playing experience and no guitar (i have a spare guitar he can use). He arrives on friday, so i've got some time to prepare.

I need some advice on how to fill 45 minutes with a complete beginner.

Obviously, its no point in going into sweep picking, tapping, jazz chords and all that stuff...but to start with the basics.

so far, written down - intro to guitar. What it is and why it is so good. Its versatile, play rythmn and lead, play chords and single notes, different sounds with effect pedals and you can do cool wooweewoo noises with the whammy bar. I dont want to put him off playing but to encourage him.

The first thing i learnt was 'friends'..not the satch song but the tv theme tune from the show, or at least the intro/chorus thingy...and 3 chords, D, E and A (i think) which are used in that little bit of the song.

Then i got proper guitar lessons, where we started the caged system...and so i'm planning on doing that with as one of the first things. I dont want to leap into that though with someone who hasn't got a guitar. Nor do i want to leap into theory, might put him off music altogether. So, maybe a mixture of 2? a song he knows or something...

what do you people suggest?

Good afternoon everybody! STEVEN WILDE: tks for the Vibes! yesterday I so worried about Michelle's stepdad... yes, let's pray for him, diabets is so dangerous when we don't know how to deal with it. Today i'm very busy studyng for a test that I will have on wednesday for a new and better job, I need so much to get that vacancy! I'm studyng maths, English, and International Credits (Letters of credits for international trade). My son was good at his first interview and he has to wait for the second (if he gets). That's funny! both of us (mom and son) applying for a job at same time(different jobs of course) !!!! God bless !!! :) :) :) Your vibes and prayer are always wellcome ! ................................................................................................... MICHELLE: get those classes, it is really important do learn about this disease. So your son plays drumms ? cool!! ...................................................................................................MR NICK: Hi mr Nick ! when my son started (five years ago) he didn' t have a guittar, and his teacher let him use a spare guittar too, and at beginning what encourages him the most was learning to play a song that he liked and was too easy "Sweet child oh mine" , but now he wants only to try hard Satriani, Vai and DreamTheater, he also practice a lot of Iron Maiden, Rush, Malmsteen and Deep Purple. I think that a good idea is to let you student choose a song, of course it has to be a very easy one... Blues is easy and nice to start! what do you think?

Stevee T Slansh was at Perth Rock School in Scotland with my best friend Graeme watt (www.watty2000.plus.com). We all went to see Yngwie in April 1991 I think and Joe in May 1991 (may have been 1990) during the Dreaming in a Blue World Tour. We shared the back of a crowded van with several other musicians. Met Joe for the first time back then. Very few fans hanging about - he was the one that came over to us actually!

Roy recorded much of the songs in my former house in Dundee, Scotland. Graeme plays on Flyman's Knuckle and a couple of others.

So, thats how we know each other.
