One of the most important things (was for me anyway), is to make your fingers equal. so that you can do everything with any finger.
stretch and practice scales. as for the note reading thing there are probably some places online where you can find how to read notes. and if you really wanna try things out I suggest you download Guitar pro 4. It's a really good program I tab all my songs in it. Good luck man

i was talking to my uncle the other day and he told me that the company he owns does a lot of business with dimarzio.. he told me that he would probably be able to get me some free stuff.. i know that joe uses the PAF joe as his neck pickup and the fred as his bridge pickup.. would it make a big difference if i used a PAF joe pickup as the neck and bridge pickup or should i get the fred as the bridge pickup?...
thanks guys

OKAY Here's one for Ya. As some of you know, I
am making a crazed attempt at running a Recording studio.
One thing I have discovered is this. Commercial CD's are recorded in the format of RED BOOK. Now, when mastering to a CD Rom the best a can find (In My software anyway's) is MP3 Pro. Is That going to be good enough for a Glass master to be made? If not, How do I get the files converted to RED BOOK Without having to buy an Alesis Master Link? Mr. Eric Caudieux, I could use your help here. Thanks Don.

Crystal PLanet16:
The Saber "S" series by Ibanez is one of the best guitars ever made by Ibanez.
I own a 540 Saber (Saber is what they used to call them) In fact mine is a prototype that was made when they first were developing this style. Many had Three single coils some with Two then they did a HB in the bridge with two other single coils one in the middle one at the neck. Mine was among the first to have the HB at the bridge a single in the middle and another HB at the neck. The first Wizard Neck was better than the Wiz II model but it rocks as well, nice and thin with tall Frets.
I bought two more S series about ten years ago 470s each. They have some minor neck issues now but I could tweakem up in moments if needed. All guitars need adjustments eventually so don't let that stop you from buying one.
I am sure many here will have opinions. If you buy one get the middle model, the EX seems to have a different species of Pick-ups I am not familiar with.
