Hello friends !!! lots of things to read and post !! I just browse here during the day, didn't have time to read , but i noticed very interesting stuff ! and very funny too ! JazzzyXMichelleXSteev T !!!

MikesB and 962 : I'll respond asap, very interesting stuff!

Big Bad Moon 1889: Congrats for 100 !!! thanx for talking about my city, but actually , according to what some friends of mine that have visited NY said São Paulo is just ten per cent of NY, NY is really amazing! One day i'll be visiting that city! Hey! what a great idea to put a nice big Joe poster in your room! and lime green is pretty good! My son and I are choosing some photos of great guitarists to put in his room, we want to make something like Joe has in his home studio, see the link below, maybe you can also enjoy the idea: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/object/article?f=/chronicle/archive/2004/04/13/DDG08637CF1.DTL&o=0

Jazzzy: great idea !!! i'm just a turttle head !!!! I particularly enjoyd the idea of Steeve T dressed like an hawaian ula ula !!!

MIchelle: congrats ! you beat Steeve T ! you represent satchwomen very well !!!

Hi STEVEE T : just kidding !!!! : - )))))

Tomorow it will a month that i 'm in this very nice place learning from all Joe's fans ! You are all very nice, kind and amazing ppl !!!!

i'll be back !! lol, am gonna read Mikesb interview ! see ya!

hey shady...

Don't joke about breaking strings on guitars. I broke the high E on my Les Paul and I cried for about an hour. SInce I'm in college and was only home for the weekend, I didn't have time to restring it and took to plaing it w/ only five.

The funny thing is...I came up with 2 or 3 cool riffs with only 5 strings...

Hey...I might just ask Epiphone to make me a 5 string Les Paul...lol

Michelle- OK... I only wish for snow in SE England... actually tonight it has been snowing a bit here, not sure yet if it'll be enough to give me a day off work!!! Somehow I doubt it! :-)

Steven, I have been practising piano really hard lately, 2 hours a day minimum has to be my target from now to the exam.... I have to discipline myself into the routine of it..... scales are fun......... grr

Hi everybody, hope all is well out there.

uah: A 5 string LP you say? I'm interested. I broke my fair shair of strings. I still am, I never stop looking for a good brand that don't brake so easily. I miss D'addario 008 Chromes. Those ruled, shame they don't make them anymore.

yeah shady

the strings I use are boomers...8 dollar strings. The ones that came with the guitar though lasted a good half year after I took the guitar home, which is surprising considering the age of them.

And yes...I would love playing a five string Les Paul. I think it would go over quite well, and I would rule at playing it...

But now I am off to do much eating of foodage, ttyl!

Joe,

You and Vai should put together a tribute tour for Jason Becker. I'm sure you know all about him. See if Marty Freidman would be into it. I think it would be amazing if you guys could perform his songs in front of the G3 crowds. He'd probably be thrilled. Just a thought.

BTW have you heard of Theodore Ziras? Amazing greek guitarist. If not you should check out his website: www.theodoreziras.com.

cuthbert: Hows your baby doing? you havent told us much about her/him. And those pix from the Tsunami are crazy.

estrela: yo, nice pic of Joe in his studio.

Stevee T: what the?? why dont you reach 100 already? come on.....

tastey, you're like a few million posts behind. tell us how you really feel about the new Vai album. I think its pretty good, except the vocals. Joe sings a lot better than Vai.

hey shady

if you're breaking a lot of strings on your les paul, look into graphite bridge saddles made by graphtech. www.graphtech.com. Ever since I put their string savor saddles on my les paul, i havn't broken a single string. If you're breaking a lot of strings at the bridge, this will probably solve your problem.

gblachman: Thanks for the advice, but I don't have a Les Paul. I don't very much like those Gibson or Epi guitars. I preffer Fenders and Ibanez. Any advice on them?
