Hi TASTEY, no transplant up to now ! doctors consider him a miracle ! But I know how much he has been fighting to keep his health, I admire him a lot, but it requires discipline, lots of care and first of all the knowledge about what diabet is and its consequences, so that you can avoid things that could be dangerous. I thing most of people doesn't know the consequences of diabets and that is a terrible thing...

Zinc Master My Dad does watch what he eats and rarely ever goes for fast food...so I s'pose its something he has under control. But before it developed he used to eat quite a few cakes lol...that has since ended.

Tastey Hey, all de' kitties are fine, my big ol' fat one called "Ollie" sleeps on my bed every now and again and shes getting really really fussy and always lookin for cuddles etc..

Does anyone know where I can download acapellas of rock music? Specifically the acapella to Deftones "My Own Summer (Shove It)"? I've remade the whole song in reason and it needs the vocal track.

Hey to all in Satchland!!!

I noticed some1 had posted a question asking for some TAB sites. 1 of my favorites is www.ultimate-guitar.com If any1 wants to talk 1 on 1 bout music or Joe, my AIM SN is Satch Fan 1012. Please feel free to gimme a IM.

Hey Steve W- How have things been? I've been quiet lately jus scimmin through some of the posts. I'm a racecar driver as well, and yesturday, a bunch of us racers got together fr a slot car charity event an raised almost $1,800 for breast cancer. So I've been keepin pretty busy. It takes time from playing guitar, but for things like charity, especially cancer cuz I know a few ppl w/it, it's well worth it. Take care dude

MIND STORM FOREVER THE BEST JOE SATRIANI SONG, unless he comes up w/something real spectacular on his next album. And knowing Joe, he probably will.

hey guys newbie here...not to guitar though been playin for a while and im not bad. just thought i'd introduce myself. i live in australia in the most secluded, dumpiest joint in the whole world. but im movin to perth (capital city) on the 1st of april. BUT JOES PLAYIN IN PERTH ON 22ND OF MARCH!!!!!!!! i think maybe i can talk my dad into gettin down there earlier...maybe. im 16 and play a little harmonica as well. music is my life and i discovered joe (whom i'd never even heard of) in november because my dad bought his live in san fran sisco dvd. ive learnt all his songs and bought myself two of his cds because its hard to get any here in this dump. oh and has anyone here managed to learn satch boogie? i got the intro perfect but i cant find a correct tab for where joe takes off. any site recommendations would be nice. oh Joe, i got an idea, if you (ever) manage to get any spare time do you think maybe you can tab out your songs for us here on satriani .com? that would be AWESOME! cause on the internet all you really ever manage to get is a bunch of try hards that probably dont even know how to play the guitar. p.s. i really dont expect you to do this but i thought it would make a good suggestion.

I got my test results back for Chem today. 73/100 Not as good as I would have hoped or so I thought until she posted the class spread and I was 30 points above the average. I never know if it is the students are stupid or the teachers just don't teach as well. I know that in my case I made some stupid mistakes that cost me points but a class average of 43/100, C'mon!!

Steve T It must be a West coast thing because Portland has been absolutely beautimus lately. Snowboarding is at an all-time low but hey my tan hasn't faded!!

Steve T Medford? Were they all related? LOL Up here the southerners are thought of as well ... Southerners. We Northerners are a bit more "so-fist-toe-cated" ya'know. All kidding aside (Sorry Cheese) my wife and I moved here with the intent of moving on after a year. 11 years later were still here and not planning on going anywhere , with the possible exception of Ireland, but I'm finishing school first. I am hoping to be in NYC this summer as part of "PA Invasion 2005." I'll make sure I keep ya'll up to date.

Hi everyone!

Bahduh: hi! Yeah the Aussies forgot how to bowl tight, and how to bat on. At the same time, Lleyton Hewitt forgot how to play tennis. A double surprise loss for Australia on Sunday night! Michael Clarke voted #1 Australian cricketer of the year, I thought Martyn would get it. He won best test player, and Symonds best 1 day player. How are you?

Michelle: socks aren't enough with those huge things...

Zen/Mikesb: the only parts of your conversation I understood were the chainsaw references and the "Ein-Stein" bit. Of course, a lot of it was in French which doesn't help me.

Jersey Jet: "unless he comes up w/something real spectacular on his next album. And knowing Joe, he probably will" hopefully with a good drum track this time around.

Civgeek: I often wonder about that too. There is another possibility: that the Faculty or University is stingey and deliberately lowers the scores so that it appears to be more prestigious. (They do that here, I don't think it works though.)

Don't you get a tan from snowboarding? People get sunburnt here at the snow. I suppose only your face is uncovered at the snow.

Tastey: ha ha thanks...I've heard that one before but it's not a bad one. Just as well I'm not offended by blonde jokes.

Here's one I've made up for you just now: a guitarist walks into a barre...

Good news, I finally found my friend from the Maldives, she and her family are fine. Her house was right in the middle of the island, and the Tsunami washed all the way around it.

Later all! BEN

Hey Joe, i just recently heard your music on the radio up here in Wisconsin, home of Lazer 103! First time i heard the music i fell in love with it. I couldn't believe that rock instrumentalist has finally come back. I suppose it makes you feel and probably most of the people reading this message think "man where has this guy been". truth is i just turned 21 and im kinda new to this era of rock. I just received all of your cd's and dvd's and everyone is better then the previous. I've always wanted to play the guitar but i never had any influence. Well i just found it. I just purchased a guitar from ibanez and i love it. I still have a lot of learning to do but i got some concepts down. Joe, got any good tips for a beginner that has just picked up the guitar? What can i do to learn the art better and to inspirate my thoughts? I listen to jimi hendrix quite often and use that as inspiration then theres your music. Its perfect from what i see. Im still a little mad at myself for not coming to see you perform at the pabst theater in milwaukee. I hope that you will come this way again. Thanks for any help! Anthony K.

civgeek, oh king of repugnant lyrics, here's one for you :) May it play over and over in your brain :)

I'm sleeping, And right in the middle of a good dream, like all at once I wake up, From something that keeps knocking at my brain, Before I go insane, I hold my pillow to my head, And spring up in my bed, Screaming out the words I dread: "I think I love you!" (I think I love you)

This morning, I woke up with this feeling, I didn't know how to deal with, And so I just decided to myself, I'd hide it to myself, And never talk about it, And didn't I go and shout it, When you walked into my room. "I think I love you!" (I think I love you)

I think I love you, So what am I so afraid of? I'm afraid that I'm not sure of, A love there is no cure for, I think I love you, Isn't that what life is made of? Though it worries me to say, I've never felt this way.

Believe me, You really don't have to worr, y I only want to make you happy, And if you say, hey, go away, I will, But I think better still, I ought to stay around and love you, Do you think I have a case? Let me ask you to your face: Do you think you love me? I think I love you!

There! Take that! lol!

p.s. This is no reflection of my feelings for Matt. lol!! He's a nice enough guy, but I barely know him. lol!

7 pages in one day - sheesh! I got less than 5 hours of sleep last night, so maybe I shouldn't go for that dry eyed feeling 2 days in a row? lol! Night peeps!

Oh yeah, DELFINO, My mom has had diabetes for a few years now. It's not a nice thing to have, but if you take your meds, regulate your diet and eat things in moderation, and take care of yourself, it's much easier to deal with. She has some other health problems, and her ticker has taken a good whoopin' 2 or 3 times, but at 71 she's still good to go! Best of luck to your dad, but hide the cakes! lol!

962, yep, can't think of anything better to spend some money on at the moment than Joe concerts!! Ya only live once!! :)

estrala, my son is 16, almost 17, thanks for asking. He loves guitar, music and Joe...those 3 things are really his life! It's very sad that you missed Joe when he was in your neighborhood, there's nothing like seeing him play live!! One day he'll go back to Brazil, I'm sure! How old is your son?

Stevee T, in Medford, huh? That's the "Big City" over the hill from us here in Klamath Falls, or Kalamaty Flats as some people say! Not too far away, but different climate and growing season...it's bizarre to drive over and watch how the scenery changes! Ya should have stuck around!

Civgeek, you will feel my wrath one day, lol! You Northerners are all stuck up anyway! :) Actually, I'm one of you, having spent a good part of my adult life living in Corvallis... or better known as part of the I-5 corridor!! Loved it there, but my parents are here and are 83 years old, so here is where we'll stay until they don't need me anymore. You all up there think we are just hicks down here, but I live closer to Joe than you do, nyah!! LOL!! See ya in April!

Steven, hello and a very good evening to you too! Thanks for sending Chris good wishes and hellos always, he likes to feel important too! Hope tomorrow is just fantastic for you!

Michelle, Mari, gonna take me up on the invite to the west coast for 2 nights of Joe? :) We could get together in southern Cali, and it would never be the same again!! lol!

Now let me see, someone thought about fronting me some cash for some concert goodies........don't remember who, sorry about that but parenthood has sucked many of my brain cells from my head........still interested? I'd be happy to pick something up for ya!

Suzie, Bahduh, Jazzzzy, Austin, MegaBoyd and everyone else, hi and have a great day tomorrow!!

Love ya Joe, see you and the guys in Anaheim and Ventura!
