Stevee T: How's it goin? I'm looking forward to the weekend! AlterBridge Shows Sat and Sun Night! hopefully backstage!!! Social Distortion in 2 weeks, I met the guitar tech/stage guy at NAMM. Maybe doing some shooting.....maybe not. It's there loss, I've seen the shots on their site. They need me!!! However Curt says he can't get me a photopass......Oh well....Their LOSS!

ok well i have been playing guitar for about 6 monthsand i dont take lessons..idk if i should.. i took bass lessons for about 3 weeks and quitbecause it was soo borring.. should i take guitar lessons???i really want to get better but i dont wanna have to go threw all the borring things.. and have to learn how to read notes.. im confused.. help!

One of the most important things (was for me anyway), is to make your fingers equal. so that you can do everything with any finger.

stretch and practice scales. as for the note reading thing there are probably some places online where you can find how to read notes. and if you really wanna try things out I suggest you download Guitar pro 4. It's a really good program I tab all my songs in it. Good luck man

i have a fender standard jazz bass fretless..its black and im just wondering if u could help me...i wanna get a new pickguard for it...but i dont no if i should get black pearl or get tortoise shell..i like them both but not sure ...id like to have a little input to see what other people think...thanks alot...

hey....yea thanks nick im with u on that..it would look sweet..and yea well notes rnt that hard and u can probly learn them easily and it will work out in the long run too...but u still dont have to...but if u really dont wanna take lessons or anything than u can buy a dvd or something like i got on a bass and theres a bunch of stuff out there besides lessons...whatever u choose is cool man..whatever u think is best...but hey man hope all is well with u and everyone up there and yea see u soon...i cant wait...we will have to watch joe a couple more hundred times...lol....and hope everyones good in satchland...goin to bed now and have to go to school tomorrow... :( talk to everyone tomorrow...night

i was talking to my uncle the other day and he told me that the company he owns does a lot of business with dimarzio.. he told me that he would probably be able to get me some free stuff.. i know that joe uses the PAF joe as his neck pickup and the fred as his bridge pickup.. would it make a big difference if i used a PAF joe pickup as the neck and bridge pickup or should i get the fred as the bridge pickup?...
