Net users are being told to avoid a scam website that claims to collect cash on behalf of tsunami victims.

The web address of the fake site is decuk.org which could be close enough to the official www.dec.org.uk address to confuse some people keen to donate.

Stevee T, yeah, all being well, it will get posted to you! Also, I kind of missed the rest of the conversation, but from what I could gather, you're driving a Honda S2000? What's it like? I've heard they're a blast.....they're certainly nice and small, which is very unusual these days!
estrela, no problem, you're welcome! I was a little disappointed that the Lifestyle and I Like The Rain lyrics weren't printed in the CD liner.....they're good songs, highlights of the album, rather than a quirky vocal track shoved in to keep the record company happy!
Steven Wilde, hehe, thanks for the hat-tip to estrela! You're too kind bro! Hope you're cool......still hooked on the Sammick?!

Civgeek-- no mo snow hahaha! We actually didn't get a whole lot. only missed half a day of work. In this area, you never know what it's gonna be like. Seriously, though, my last guitar is a strat-copy and those necks are really narrow compared to my Ibanez. The S470's a pretty nice feeling neck, all around though..really like it. Was surprised at the detail of the inlays too. Actually got mine "scratch and dent" from AMS for around $489 new..and I couldn't even find scratches on the front. Make sure that the guitar you're eyeing has the assembly in the tremolo cavity. You may like it without it, but without it you won't get the return to pitch that it was designed for. Good luck!

962...Steven Wilde had mentioned zoomin around on 2 wheels, and I had responded with the S2000 reply. How are they you ask...the first time I drove it...I laughed for 20 minutes straight cause it was so much fun...kinda like a go cart on steroids...lol Faster than a Porsche Boxster, and a lot cheaper too!

Worst car I've ever had in the snow.

What's the Guitar Wars DVD that Mowlie_2000 is referring to?

Unfortunately, I do not have the lyrics to Lifestyle.

However, someone previously did transcribe the lyrics - you might want to search for them by using the search function below.

Also - I can play guitar, at least I use to, but I haven't played in a long long time.

ocps - me too.... I'm looking forward to writing something for this too...

vfr - ha... hard on the boy is what keeps him out of any more grief than he attracts as it is...

he's like some sort of agro-magnet.. lol..

steevet - time... that is my greatest issue

so much to do and only a single life-time to do it in..

the name of the song I'll submit: Space-Time And Curves Exotic

steerpike - your trem problem is because of the profile of the blades on the bridge...
when they leave the factory they are 'squared off'

they need to be 'rounded' off with a needle file and about as share as a butter knife [and no more]

if you don't know how to sort this yourself [or know of a friend that can show you how] then go to a luthier in a guitar store

dck - ahhh... now that's all nice and clear....

and from my stand point

not a single Shredz track will be available for down load

so all is good

or as they say in France: alles is goed

I just noticed... my last post number was 1685....

for me that is a significant number...

it's the year that the great master JS Bach was born

how do you write songs? i think i may of asked this before. I come up with a great beginning, then get it going for a couple of minutes, then it all comes to a stop and i dont know where to go. How do you guys make your songs work and feel like a song. I want my songs to tell a story, and so the song needs to progress and ideally keep repeatitiveness to a minimum.

Sony to Release PlayStation Portable

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Sony Corp said Thursday it will release the PlayStation Portable in North America on March 24 and have 1 million units ready for sale in the first week.

The PSP machine, a challenger to Nintendo (news - web sites) Co.'s long-standing grip on the handheld video gaming market, will be sold as a "value pack" for $250 in the United States and for $300 Canadian dollars. It will include numerous accessories and — for the first million sold — a copy of the "Spider-Man 2" movie on the new Universal Media Disc format that Sony designed for the PSP.

Sony said it has already shipped 800,000 PSPs in Japan, where it went on sale on Dec. 12 for about $190.

Hot Times at the Old Firehouse...

TAMPA, Fla. (Reuters) - Fire officials were as red as their fire trucks Thursday after announcing that five firemen were disciplined for inviting strippers to the fire station for a nude and topless photo session. The women, identified only as Jamie and Heather, posed with a fire truck at a city fire station in Tampa in October. They were naked in some photos and wore only high heels, firefighters' pants and suspenders in others. Dozens of the pictures were posted on the Internet.

The firefighters were charged with neglect of duty, moral turpitude and insubordination.

One of the men, a captain, was fired. The other four were suspended for two weeks to a month and will lose up to $5,000 in pay. One of them had a part-time job at a strip club where the women danced.

Fire Chief Dennis Jones said he was embarrassed by the firemen's actions but that "they didn't miss any calls."

Woman Accused of Giving Lethal Sherry Enema

HOUSTON (Reuters) - A Texas woman has been indicted for criminally negligent homicide for causing her husband's death by giving him a sherry enema, a police detective said on Wednesday.

Tammy Jean Warner, 42, gave Michael Warner two large bottles of sherry on May 21, which raised his blood alcohol level to 0.47 percent, or nearly six times the level considered legally drunk in Texas, police detective Robert Turner in Lake Jackson, Texas, told the Houston Chronicle.

"We're not talking about little bottles here," Turner said. "These were at least 1.5-liter bottles."

Warner, 58, was said to have an alcohol problem and received the wine enema because a throat ailment left him unable to drink the sherry, Turner told the newspaper.

"I heard of this kind of thing in mortuary school in 1970, but this is the first time I've ever heard of someone actually doing it," said Turner, who led the lengthy investigation in the case.

The woman admitted administering the enema, but denied causing her husband's death, the Chronicle said.

A dispatcher for the Lake Jackson police said only Turner could discuss the case, but he did not return phone calls from Reuters.

Along with negligent homicide, Mrs. Warner was indicted for burning her husband's will a month before his death. Both charges carry maximum penalties of two years in prison.

Mrs. Warner surrendered to police on Monday and was released on $30,000 bail, the newspaper said.
