evbro, Pats or Eagles? lol!
cuth, I'm in Berks County.
Lucy, thanks - you have a nice weekend too :)
civgeek, nice band shots, but they could use some audio. lol!
punkdude, thanks for the cool picture! Can you imagine being 13 and having your picture taken with your fav band! How inspiring! My son is 13 and plays bass. I have to ask him who he'd like to meet like Mike did. He has a lot of favorite bands.
Holy crap JS Clone is back!! I'll check your song out later if I can.
mikesb, Joe Walsh makes me laugh hysterically! He's like a surfer dude/stoner/Cheech & Chongesque guy who can play the hell out of a guitar. lol! I wonder if it's an act or if he's really that way?
HELP ~
Diabetes question ~ funny (not) we were just talking about it with Delfinos dad & Clarky's son having it, and son of a bitch, don'tcha know - I got a call today from my mom. My step dad has been feeling sick for a while. At first he thought he had a bug, but then all sorts of different symptoms started hitting him. Fever, kidney pain, muscle spasms, he couldn't pee right, bladder pain, all sorts of stuff. He doesn't have a family doctor. Hell, he hasn't been to the doctor one time that I remember in the 30+ years I know him. Anyways, he was sick enough to go to my mom's doctor today. They said his sugar was 438!!! Holy effin shit! His kidneys are enlarged, and he is in deep shit with diabetes. What is the NORMAL range your blood sugar is supposed to be at? They gave him some meds and a prescription or two and sent him home, but they want to see him again in 5 days. Dude doesn't even have any health insurance because he's self employed. He's not even 60 yet, so he's to young for any of that senior medicare stuff. I'm very worried about him. All this time we've been worried about my mom and her health with her diabetes and all the stuff she has going on, and it turns out that the one we thought was healthy is even sicker than the usually sick one. He's like the rock of our family. He's the kind of guy that barely ever even takes a Tylenol. This is messed up. So anyway, the normal number for your blood sugar (ballpark range) is???

Powerslave, thanks for the link. Man, it doesn't look good. I really hope it didn't do any permanent damage to his organs or anything. I was just looking at www.diabetes.org, but I didn't see any numbers. I'm going to bookmark your site too and read it more tomorrow. Are the numbers the same for a child as they are for an adult? Thanks again.
edit - I saw earlier that Ossie died. He was a great actor :(

ibanezfox, interesting that....I sold a Jem and replaced it with an SA1260 and it was one of the best decisions I made!
mowlie, no problem mate! You should buy it, it rocks! hehe
Stevee T, the older (996 range) S was pretty good, but the new model is sublime. Yeah, it's the S that is a close contender to the 911. but then you look at the 911 Carrera S, which is better again! hehe. I can't wait to see what the 997 Turbo will come out like!

Hy friends
Now it´s nearly 13:00 in Vienna and I´m very frustrated :-(............
I (and my sister too) wanted to buy some U2 pre-sale tickets online for the "How to dismantle an atomic bomb" Tour-show in Vienna on July 2nd 2005, today at 9:00 (GMT) the pre-sale started in Austria, ready for that time to get some tickets,we tried different internet sites for those tickets until 10:00, but no one of us both got only one of them; all 55.000 tickets were sold out in 80 minutes, can some one imagine that? I can´t believe it.......

Civgeek ............... and good luck to you man. You definitely hit it right re: 'The Golden Handcuffs' - lol. It's a gamble, I don't think that I could get the salary that I'm on without moving and changing schools for the little one isn't an option. We're settled (at last!) where we are, so it's really a case of take it while you can make it. Re-training has been on my mind for a while and as old as 38 seems, I've probably got another 27 yrs at work (groan) - so I can see it happening. As a side point to that, it's funny how many people want to keep working after 60, even if they don't have too - reasons normally been 'keeps me young', 'gets me out of the house' etc. There are few people who can afford to retire to a life of 'luxury'. Yes, you are correct a chippie is a slang term for a carpenter over here, with a sparky being an electrician.
Slanshroom I'm hearin' ya loud and clear bro'. Solitude and inner reflection on a wet and rainy hillside............. ah the tranquility, I still love to do that when the chance arises. The village mentality.............. lmao................ we used to go out to the village pub where my mate lived, you got all the 'you're not from round here looks' and if you used a word with more than two syllables they thought you'd been to university :-) My wife reckons that the weather in the uk has a lot to do with the booze fuelled weekend problems, petty crime and drug abuse.................... she spent 18 months living in Oz and despises the lack of things to do over here. We'd love to get out but NZ is a tough nut to crack with no degree and not being on the occupational shortage list. Settled here bro'........ I hear what you're saying but my bed is made and it's not too uncomfortable lying in it - lol. I'm also in your bracket as well, I still like a drink but I'm not aiming for oblivion - very occassional social smoke as well. Love the bossa track man, you and Clarky work well together.
Cube Great new track man................. I think that movie soundtrack work is your calling. How long did it take you to write and what was the mental picture that you had for it ?
J S Clone Nice to see that your still playing man, I thought that you'd thrown it all away. I couldn't get your track too download so I can't comment but good luck with the band.

Man I have been trying to get hold of some of their stuff in ages and they're proving quite elusive over here...one day though, one day *shakes fist*
Steven Wilde I'm off to check out your site now, as usual I'm pretty busy with allt his coursework and so on, but hopefully all this work will pay off when I get to university and spend a lot of my time sleeping in bed, sleeping in the hall way drunk, sleeping in lectures, and ofcourse not sleeping in bed (wink wink).
Anywayz take care everyone

DCK - I have a question regarding the T2J II project. I'm entering Guitarist Of The Year this year, and the piece I'm planning on using as my entry is the piece I'm also planning on submiting to the T2J II CD. Would that be allowed? If not, no problem; I'll just submit a different track. But I would like to use this one. Is that okay?

death cube k..went to your site...very nice one I might add, (I've been there before) and tried to access the non existent movie score...valleys call...and got a message that It couldn't be accessed...so I listened to gargoyles...which was very cool. I can't listen very loud right now because my girlfriend is sleeping, and I don't want to wake her...is the song link still good? (shhhhhhhh everybody be very quiet she's not a morning person) Peace

Peng...Welcome! The only new chromeboy's available are the Ibanez 2PRM...but there are only 60 in the whole world....38 for the US & 22 for the rest of the planet...very rare, and hard to get your hands on. The JS10 can be found in music stores used (sometimes never opened) usually for lotsa of money.
=================================================
BigBunny...Ossie Davis...small world...I'm just completing a project I'm doing wtih The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater in NYC...Ossie Davis & Ruby were Donor's on the project...he'll be missed....
