Well - I am a lawyer and just keep them organised as best i can. I really manage and sort stuff out. But SBM isn't really happening right now - got other ideas with more priority - Slansh being one of them. I do have a full time lawyer job for a company but I really am thinking about playing again. I am going to get into promotion of certain people I know -some of whom are, like Slansh, pretty well know in certain parts of the world. Have Slansh tell u about Uzbekistan! His words were "we were like the Beatles there".

I haven't sung seriously in a couple of years and feel the need. I hate karaoke normally, most real singers do. But i went to a place in NYC a week or two ago with some friends for a laugh - and they made me sing all night - I loved it though. It has been too long.

So I wrote to some people today - Martin Furey (very famous musical family in Ireland) and a few others to ssee about doing more stuff over here. I also talked with Roy about other such things. Would be good to get them over the pond to play here.

I recorded a few things 2 years ago but I have never heard the finished product - Graeme still has it on his PC in Scotland. I'll have to call him about that. See how musicians have ideas but no organizational skills!

So, I am a lawyer, thankfully no music friend has any legal hassle so more of a managing approach for me just now.

r

Estrela.. Continuarei a colocar algumas idéias em português de quando em quando então sente-se em casa. Se você me necessita traduzir algo de inglês que somente não parece fazer sentido. ..I'll faz meu melhor ajudar. ...Peace.

Fab...sounds interesting...your life, and history with Slansh...we'll have to hook up in NYC someday...

This message is for JOE. On Christmas '04 my wife gave me the most awesome gift ever.......... It was about Dec. 18th when I first found out that you were coming to town. A friend and co-worker of mine mentioned seeing an ad in a local publication. So, excitedly, I rushed home for lunch, told my wife Delora. We talked about the prospects of going to the show, but we have two children ages 2 and 7. Finding a sitter for them on such short notice would have been near impossile. Not to mention the impending expenses that the holiday season bring. So.................with only the shadow of a dream, I returned to work. Later, that afternoon, Delora calls me at work to say that she called Ticketmaster and that they know of no dates scheduled for JOE in AZ!!! WWWHHHAAAAAA??????? My friend then, the next day, confirms the reality by showing me the actual ad in the local publication.................... "An Evening with Joe" AT THE CELEBRITY THEATER Dec.30th... With a renewed spirit I went home that evening and my wife and I went to the Celebrity Theater website. We searched for availability of tickets and seating. WOOOWWW!!! The show was already 70% sold out. And any adjacent seats were only available in the back rows.................... Again, my hope was fleeting. So I let it go...................... ...................A week later................................................ It's Christmas Eve and we have a family tradition of opening our gifts to eachother... For my final gift, my ever resourceful wife of 18 years engages me with a treasure hunt. A puzzle of clues which carefully lead me to my final prize........ A new GUITAR CASE(hard shell) for my Schecter!!!!!! And just when I thought the festivities were over........ She tells me to open the case, and then hands me a pencil. Saying..."You're gonna need this." Inside the guitar case lies a piece of paper with blank spaces forming a sentence and a selection of letters to choose from. Reminiscent of a hangman game. As I worked the puzzle, and was close to solving it, Delora goes to the Christmas tree and pulls off a handmade ornament. When I read the solution aloud...." YOU'RE GOING TO SEE JOE SATRIANI!!!!!"....... she hands me the ornament and instructs me to open it... Inside were two tickets to the show!!!!! Section B row 18!!!!!!! (What I didn't know was , that first night we looked for tickets, Delora had already called her brother and had him purchase the tickets on line. AND had already arranged for a sitter the night of the show!!!!!) I love my wife dearly..... And we both love your music JOE.We were both sorry to hear when you fell ill. And were praying for your speedy recovery. Now that you are well, I just thought you'd like to know how much what you do means to us.And althought two more months is a long time to wait.............it is well worth it!!!! Thanks Rob McCallister

I don't know that duo you mentioned though, what kind of stuff did / do they do? Sorry again to hear about your unhappy living conditions, does it look like improving soon or will you definitely have to move again? Hope your day goes well today :-)

Chris: Spawn of Cheese - Not sure if you are going to find anything that will protect the pick and yet let it act the way it is supposed to. If you want it to last I would say don't use it. If you want the MOJO that play that mutha' and make it look like you tried to get everything out of it, then put it on display. It really comes down to what you want in the end. Above all "Have fun." And be good to your mom she sounds pretty cool and very supportive. I wish my parents were supportive when I was young. Don't take that for granted.
