VFRrocker!!!
Let's just say that there are things you think about when you experience a life threatening event that aren't even relevant to your situation... the lunch probably because my girlfriend made it for me, I'm spoiled that way, but something like that happens, and you learn to appreciate everything people do for you awful fast, that's my situation I guess... let's just go with that

Plum, so glad to hear you came away from the accident with minimal injury. I love my seatbelt too. lol! I can only imagine how scary it must have been. I feel ya bro, the cd's are high on the list of what to salvage. Good luck with all the "after accident" stuff too.
tune, wow, your brother has three nasty things going on. My best to him. It's the undiagnosed things that are hard to deal with because you don't know how to treat it if you don't know what it is. Don't get me wrong, the diagnosed stuff isn't always easy to keep in line either. I know I'm wore out, so my mom must really be wrung out. She's 71 and she's usually the one who gets sick. My pop was never sick, so she's not used to this routine she's been thrust into.
Wow, it just came over the t.v. that more people die from medical mistakes than car accidents, Aids, and I forget the third thing. Hmmm, I'm so sure that's true. The doctors got 2 strikes with my pop so far. First the P.A. diagnosed his severe kidney infection as back spasms and put him on a muscle relaxer instead of antibiotics, second, they gave him a glucose drip IV in the ER and continued it for 12+ hours until his new doctor caught it during his morning rounds. You never give a diabetic who has a blood sugar count of 331 a glucose IV.
Geez man, I really should talk about Joe more often. This other stuff is depressing. Sorry peeps. My happy self is around here somewhere. lol!

cuth, yes I read that. Sorry I didn't answer it directly. It doesn't apply to him. I'll ask him some questions today. Thanks for reminding me of that option. I'm sure the hospital billing peeps have already run that one by him. They're like pit bulls when it comes to billing.
aww, thanks Stevee :)

Joe? Hello?
Anyway, this posting is for anyone interested that can shed some light for me...
First, I'm a huge JS fan and have been for years.
In addition to several guitars, (including a '59 cherry sunburst Gibson Les Paul Standard), I own an Ibanez JS1000 and play through a brand spanking new Peavey JSX w/ xxx 4x12s. I also have a Peavey Classic Chorus 75-w combo and a Marshall, but I digress...
My question is, since the JSX has no reverb, how does JS run the effects? I have a POD XT and a Boss GT-6. When I run the POD in line between my Guitar and the JSX with just reverb and delay (the amp and cab modeling is on bypass), it sounds awful. If I run it clean, it sounds OK. I have not yet run it through the Effects Loop.
I want to add reverb, delay and maybe chorus and/or phase (yes I am also an EVH fan!).

Plum Loco Man I'm sorry to hear about your truck that really sucks, but I'm glad you're ok. I totally hear you on holding your life more important than the things you hold close to you, stuff like that can be replaced a persons life never can.
Good to hear you saved your Joe CD's too :-)...what was in your lunch by the way?

Virginia Bill Sets Fine for Low-Riding Pants
RICHMOND, Va. - (AP) Virginians who wear their pants so low their underwear shows may want to think about investing in a stronger belt.
The state's House of Delegates passed a bill Tuesday authorizing a $50 fine for anyone who displays his or her underpants in a "lewd or indecent manner."
Del. Lionell Spruill Sr., a Democrat who opposed the bill, had pleaded with his colleagues to remember their own youthful fashion follies.
During an extended monologue Monday, he talked about how they dressed or wore their hair in their teens. On Tuesday, he said the measure was an unconstitutional attack on young blacks that would force parents to take off work to accompany their children to court just for making a fashion statement.
"This is a foolish bill, Mr. Speaker, because it will hurt so many," Spruill said before the measure was approved 60-34. It now goes to the state Senate.
The bill's sponsor, Del. Algie T. Howell, has said constituents were offended by the exposed underwear. He did not speak on the floor Tuesday.
Spruill and Howell, also a Democrat, are both black.

I guess your state does not want to see crack (I do not mean cracks in the road or the kind you get high with).
Are they going to prosecute plumbers?
