Stevee t : my son took guittar classes for 3 years and stopped a year ago, now he practices alone with a computer program Guitar-pro, he plays a Tagima( a brazilian guittar) because it is the only we could afford. I always encourage him to continue, because we love guittar sound, he grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink floyd, Metalica, kiss, deep purple, and since he started learning guittar he loves Satriani, Vai , SRV, Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, DreamTheater, he would love going to Japan to G3 with John Petrucci ! but it's impossible! It's always nice talking to you !!! : -) BTW my son's favorite song is SATCH BOOGIE . :-)

Hi all, I keep hitting wrong buttons and this is my thrid time trying to post this message >:{} Anyways, I found a a really good book for anykind of guitarist. It's called " The Guitar Handbook" by Ralph Denyer. It covers every possible thing scales( every possible scale), chords, progressions (while teaching basic music theory) how to read music, and how to fix basic and not so basic guiatr problems, how to customize your guitar, recording and live set ups, how amps work and how to use the most out of them, just to name some of the stuff. I hope this helps somebody. Later Y'all.

I have EVERY Stryper song. I grew up with them in the 80's. "Calling On You" had artificial harmonics, and I accidently figured out how to play them when I was figuring out the notes on my guitar.

I actually have 2 "Yellow and Black Attack" LP's, with slightly different album covers, and 1 "To Hell With The Devil" LP.

I also have some cassettes, then finally got the CD's. Unfortunately, my CD's were stolen.

The "Yellow and Black Attack" CD was a different recording than the album. What I mean is, the went back to the studio and played the songs again. They added a couple of new songs too. I like the original version better, it is more "raw" than the CD. That's what made me convert the vinyl to mp3.

The Y&BA mp3's sound funny because I recorded them to cassette first a long time ago (12 years?) with a bad record needle.

I converted all my Stryper songs to MP3 so I can just carry 1 cd around to play in my MP3/CD Player.

I'll post a link to listen to a sample of the old songs later.

STEVEE T - What do you think of the Ibanez TS9? I'm going to try one out in about two hours. The guy who sells it is asking CAD $80 for it. I need some input.

Mari - I'll have to check when the show is that i am going to - I cant remember - but I look forward to seeing you nonetheless. Mari - give me your address i'll send it - u can square me up later. I send all the $$ to Martin - I dont benefit at all. In fact, it costs me $$!

Mr Rocker - I live for being in trouble. I knew b4hand he would say that - but he's in Spain - and smaller than me. I figured he couldn't pop round and kick my ass too easily. Its all to do with psycho singer that objects to her voice being published - always has Slansh scared. No big deal though - just for you guys - I dont publish Iron Horse stuff except for the live video.

Hi everyone. I am still (many hours later...) struggling to come to terms with the fact that France beat us by ONE yes ONE point in the Rugby today, when we scored two tries and they didn't get any, and we missed something like 5? penalty kicks...... grrrrr :-(((((((

I've also been watching 100 Greatest Tearjerkers which hasn't exactly cheered me up!!!

ESTRELA: What do you mean "I never met her"? I speak via phone with her every day and had some photos and she has too. And will meet her when I become 18. But thanks for your interest on my heart's feelings...! Apart that: I got Joe's DVD in SF (well actually all dvd's), yes that was a great performance BUT I would appreciate from him if he releases some other DVDs on last G3 with new songs or at least a dvd like "an evening with Joe" 'cause we don't have dvd's of new songs (not "is there love in space" nor "strange beautiful music"). THAT IS ANNOYING CAUSE HE KNOWS THAT IF HE RELEASES THEM, EVERYBODY WOULD SPEND EVEN 50 OR 60 DOLLARS TO BUY THEM..... OH JOE...

Silent Shady thank you so much, oh voice of reason.

Only a game it might be, but you don't seem to have any understanding of the old grudge between England and France. I have met people from France, have nothing against the country in particular- but there is an unwritten / unsaid fact that we MUST beat them at Rugby and Football wherever possible!!! LOL

I agree with Ibanez89... An "An Evening with Joe" DVD would be sweet! I can't say for sure, but judging by the St. Louis concert, that tour was freakin sweet!! It was quite an experience. I just got the Live in Denver DVD and it ROCKS!!!
