Mikesb:I never thought y took it that way bro & thanks for caring, the old hands get a hammering alright, the good news is i get paid weekly,in comparison t my music life, lol & can for the first time in nearly 12 years afford t buy new gear!Laters bud & thanks again

Jazzzy:I just read your post on the SBM site, well not much i can say t that, all those cats & many more played a fairly hefty part in my growing up,a big thanks,it brings a smile.Oh just read your other post, well stranger things have happened & sure if your planning t fire across t Catalunya, why not.I rarely smoke weed these days, only when i,m on my own & i,ve a difficult music passage t repeat or i,m in need of some inspiration. If i smoke in company,i smoke with long term friends, same goes for shrooms,i dont touch chemicals anymore.I like a drink though, not just any beer, only Estrella Damm.Very rarely spirits or wine, but have been known on occassion t get mortaled on that 2,lol

XtrChessReal:.........Is Science t be Believed I couldnt have summerized it better myself friend, keep reading up on Tom Bearden bro & thanks for your post, really good t know your thinking about this.

Zenfish:Your gettin a hammering of late, but thats ok,we all get the shit kicked out of us once in a while, cant count how many times i,ve had it in life, lol. My very best t y ol bro, looking forward t hearing your demo

Cuth - " just as civgeek won't catch any slack if he builds a bridge that fails. That's why I'm in transportation. If I screw up the worst that happens is you sit in more traffic. Unless, I guess, for signal timing. If you screw that up some could die. So, yea what he said!!

VF Rocker - Glad you liked the list. If you are ever in Portland, Oregon (as opposed to Portland, Maine) look us up.

silent_shady - As a cover band we have to appeal to a wide variety of people. If you look at that list there are 4 decades represented ( the oldest song being Brown Sugar released in '71) .Summer Song goes over fairly well because it got radio play. But you can't have too many instrumentals. Nature of the beast. What I'm planning on doing is rotating some different Satch songs through so that I don't get bored playing the same songs all the time. Plus as we get more popular, hopefully, we'll have one Satch on the list and then get a request from someone who had seen us before. Long answer to a short question. Hope that makes sense.

silent shady - Oh and I forgot to add, I'm the baby of the group at 38. Our drummer is the oldest at 55. So even within the band there is a wide range of tastes that have to met for a song to make it on our play list.

CIVGEEK: Matt Thanks for asking about Steven and Me. We are okay, for the most part. We are excited about our entry to the new TJ2 album next. I wish I could let you hear it right now, but lets just let the album develop over the time it need to.....we still have to go thru the picking process. You can find us and our music at abovethenumbers.com. Sorry I did not put it into a link, I'm still learning that kinda stuff. Regular "Life" in general has been car repair for me, and kinda depressing for Steven. We will get thru it all. We are survivors. I hope you have checked out the first TJ2 album, and hope you have a few Joe albums, too. JOE: Glad to hear you're healthy and happy. It makes a difference to all of us, that you have fun doing the music. It shows in your playing. Stay safe. Randell KTF

Silent - There is nothing out there now songwise. I'm a full time student with a family and don't have much time for anything else. The band is hopefully going to have a site up this summer. On there will be some demo material. Get some sleep!! It's only 14:00 here and I'm ready for a nap. You must be exausted.

Randell - No prob man. you haven't been around much so... I know all about car repairs. I had to put in a new starter this weekend. Of course it's a transmount enginge so the starter is wedged between the fire wall and the engine. Suck ass!! Glad you're doing good and tell Steve "chin up" there are always reasons to be glad for what you have.

Cuth - Yes that would be my ilk. But if you are sitting with no cross traffic it is because there is no detection at that intersection so.. in all actuality it's the city budget at fault not the engineer (gotta have my peeps back). Not to be too geeky but there is normally a gap out time, about 3 seconds, that says if I have a car waiting at a red AND I have a gap of 3 seconds or more crossing, give the waiting car a green. If the signal has no actuation it will cycle in a pretimed formatt because that is how it is set up. Sorry. I guess you could always change your route or run it.

Big bad moon - Scales: All of them. Just kidding. Major, minor (harmonic &melodic) in all 7 modes and the blues in all five modes. That should keep you busy for a while. Learn them intervallicly and arpeggiated. Then learn how to connect the different modes. Then learn how to connect the different scales (the mode of one w/ the mode of another) Then be able to place the appropriate mode over chord changes to create the desired effect. If you get all that down you will be a monster.

Letourneau, Ex-Pupil to Wed After Prison

SEATTLE (AP) - Mary Kay Letourneau plans to marry the former sixth-grade pupil with whom she had two children, months after her release from prison for raping him, according to an online bridal registry.

Letourneau, 43, and Vili Fualaau, 22, set a wedding date of April 16, according to their registry at a department store. Letourneau served 7 1/2 years on a 1997 conviction for raping Fualaau, who has said in the past that he hoped to wed his former teacher.

"It's been long overdue," Noel Soriano, a friend of the couple, told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer in a story published Monday. "It's going to be fabulous, seeing them get hitched finally."

A lawyer for Fualaau and a friend of Letourneau did not immediately return calls Monday seeking further comment.

Letourneau was a 34-year-old married mother of four when she began a sexual relationship with her then-12-year-old elementary school student in 1996. She was pregnant with Fualaau's first child when she was arrested in 1997 and ordered to serve a six-month sentence for second-degree child rape.

One month after she was released, Letourneau was caught having sex with Fualaau in her car. She pleaded guilty in 1997 to two charges of child rape, and gave birth to the couple's second daughter while serving her 7 1/2-year sentence. Fualaau's mother is raising their two daughters, aged 6 and 7.

Shortly after Letourneau was released from prison last August, the pair successfully petitioned a judge to lift a no-contact order that had barred them from seeing each other.

Soriano said Fualaau proposed last fall, but the couple has been trying to keep wedding details a secret. Details are yet to be completed, but plans call for their daughters to be flower girls, he said.

"They have gone through a lot," Soriano said. "That they lasted this long proves how strong their love is."
