mikesb - The reason I was smiling was we had just started the arrangement for her being on the next T2J CD!!! lol
SteveeT - Yeah the teeny thing on the right-hand-side of the photo. Her voice is huge though. You should hear her sing "Come On Feel The Noize" in our 70's set!!!!!!!
962 - I have played around with a Pod and I wasnt really impressed but that doesnt mean I was using it right!!! I did have chance to play with that Vox one though - the one with the pre-amp valve built in and it sounded amazing.... about three times the price of a Pod though....

962: The pod2 can get you some interesting results by doing some things that might seem odd. For example, the smooth lead tone that I used on some songs (on my site) like funky munky etc....were the modern high gain with the fender 1X12 speaker. It made everything more focused, wheras using that same model with the 4X12 speaker sim (the seemingly logical choice) produced a sludgy deep sound that is more suited to power chords etc. Also, you can get neat results by using it flat out incorrectly. I don't know if the pod2 has this, but on the podpro (which has the same amp models) you can turn off the cabinet simulation and selet no speaker (while still having an amp, like modern high gain on)...that's how I got the weird alien sounding tones in most of Sonic Anarchy...also adding phasing, harmonizing etc.
Mowle: she looks kind of like Baby Spice...this better not be a spice girls number you're doing haah!

OCPS470 - Let me tell you that she is the absolute opposite of baby spice - she drinks like a fish, burps like an animal and is completely and utterly mental!!!!! On the first gig that she did with us (which I have to say was only after about three weeks after her joining which is three rehearsals - not exactly a lot of time to get to know her), about 10mins before we were due on stage she announced to us all that she needed to go for a "shit and a fag (cigarette)". At what point did we need to know that and, more to the point, we didnt know her well enough for her to be telling us that quite yet!!! lol
