ZENFISH- Before i leave and forget.
You should send in one of your demo's to the
John lennon songwriting contest. You have a nice way with putting down "memoerable" song lyric's. In 03' when i strated, one of my first writtien song's "one step" a praise. Song recoeved Honorable mention in the contest's of thousand's, nd thousands who enter every year! (I enter all contest's and send away My song's to everyone) I think you would have a great sucess! Also it would help in getting you noticed!
it's just a thought. and somrthing fun to do!
And Yes, It's the Voice, howlin' wolf, Not the guitar howlLOL......................................
Mikesb- Rory Gallheger? I have to check that out to! He is Jazz?-Blues? both-He's past away? What are good album's by Rory? and the other guy, walter shrout?
I am trying to get as much blues info of the greats as i can. and study them. I want to be a metalshredderbluesspeedster.

Comfortable anyway's! It's raining slightly here!
No playing plugged in outdoors today. :-(
Well, time to take my medication. Hope evrthing is well!
and enjoy the cool NYC weather! Sometimes i want to move back there...Sometimes.? I find that here, there, it's all pretty much the same game. It's just that Manhattan, has a lot of Radical, and really wild area's. WILD area's! But fun.

Zen, that Rory track is on "Stagestruck" StevenWilde, look for one of Walters live DVD's, he has three or so of them. Before that I have a video of Walter with John Mayall, Coco Montoya on second guitar. Coco is really cool, another left-hander like Albert King and Doyle Bramhall that plays with the strings reversed.... Ever try that Clarky?? lol
I try to avoid live CD's these days and go for DVD's whenever possible and artists like Walter, Gary and Rory Gallagher are/were ar their best live........

Cuthbert - Yes, pay by the mile is going to be a reality here in the future. From an engineering and from a tax point of view this makes the most sense to me. If you don't use the roads why should you pay for them. It also gives you some control over your taxation. (One reason why I prefer sales tax over income tax) We have the technology to have this happen. Now it is a matter of implimentation and of course $$$$$$$$. There is a pilot program getting started this summer. I believe 600 vehicles will be equipted and the system tested. Like I said It makes a lot of sense. What are your thoughts? I'll see if I can dig up more info for you. If this works here you're going to see it nationwide.

Cuth - I forgot to add this is a "replacement" tax NOT an "in addition to" tax. The idea is that if you have the system in your car you will pay by the mile if not then you pay the per gallon tax.

Civgeek, the problem with these things is that once they get started, they never stop,
Garbage by the bag
Water by the glass
Travel by the mile
Sewage by the flush
Air by the breath???????

Hello Joe and everyone else.
First time poster and newly joined member here.
I have been playing guitar for around 20 yrs, started at around 10 years of age and am now 30,,,(getting old I know)
I have had 2 real guitar lessons in my life for a total of 1 hour of really meaningless junk. I have been a rythem player, and have just started the transition to a lead player. I would like you to know "Satch" that you have been the deciding factor in myself going to the lead playing style. When Randy Rhoads died unexpectedly, There wasnt any more real guitar "heros" around for a while untill the smoking Joe came along. Just wanted to say Kudos to you for taking a guitar and taking some of the most sweetest sounds it was never meant to make! Play loud and hard practice long and slow, music is not an easy street!!
Peace!

Clarky:I,m slowly becoming a paleta, the translation for that is trowel, lol,so i,m becoming a trowel, lmao.Right now i,m just a helper & building on experience.I guess some would call it construction/builder,fitting kitchens, toilets walls, floors showers etc from scratch.I love the working class peeps there so down t earth,no bull about them & very much up front,if they have something they dont like you have done,y know about it in seconds,i really really love & admire that about the work, cant stand people talking behind each others backs & playing mind games.
Emily Remler:What a playa bro,i bought her vid & consumed it every day for around 2 years, she was a fountain of knowledge for sure & yeah nice tits 2,lol
On the album of Jeff Berlins, the title i cant remember, was it not Crossroads?apart from that marathon version of the c minor prelude & yip making it t the end without messing up is so damn difficult,i also tryed Paganinis perpetual motion a long time ago but gave up,was 2 difficult, still is,bastard, lol, transcribed the lot,but after 4 mins of insanity,my hands cant take anymore,it was that track that fired me catapult like into virtuoso classical violin,i also remember a great take on the J Berlin album of Crossroads & believe the guitar solo was played at the end by a young Paul Gilbert?I have t buy that album again 2,its a fine work of art for sure.
As y asked me,whats your day job skipper?
