962: I see your point about the Vai website. I would not like people talking behind my back either. However, what I would like is for the satriani website to be just a little more user-friendly in terms of posting messages, maybe having a search feature, too. Anyway, it's just a thought.....

I am no doctor, but it sounds like a flu bug or winter blues. Change your setting - try something different. Go someplace new - may get inspiration and some good "vibes". Sounds easy - maybe it will be.

I think that Joe comes and goes from the site - not always responding to each and every question / comment.
I think he is a busy guy - not that he is holding out on you nor is he out to get you, but don't hold your breath for a response. Others have in the past - and they blacked out and bumped their head (just kidding - they had pillows around them so they only blacked out - no head hitting) - ha ha ha.
I do hope you do get a response - Joe does post here - typically in response to something he just read, not something posted sometime ago. I think timing is everything.

NYC Seeks to Trademark a New Slogan
NEW YORK - Forget "The Big Apple." New York now wants to be known as "The World's Second Home."
The city has filed an application to trademark the slogan, "The World's Second Home," giving the city exclusive rights to use it to promote business and tourism.
The phrase is likely to come up often as New York makes its push to host the 2012 Olympics.
If application No. 78484751 is accepted, the city would have exclusive rights to attach the phrase to a list of more than 200 products and services, according to Thursday's editions of the New York Times.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a self-made billionaire, has been much more aggressive about filing for city trademarks and patents than his predecessors. One such application includes licensing the phrase "Made in NY."
In the 1970s, the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau officially gave New York City the moniker "The Big Apple." Around the same time, the state took on the "I (Heart) NY" slogan.
