"You've been pretty scarce here lately, pard'. I hope all is well."

I’ve been here just lurking. I have also been really busy with business. We have a new store under construction, and I just acquired a small real estate portfolio from an investor that is going bankrupt, which I didn't expect to fall in my lap. My hands are tired from signing so many contracts that I haven't had the desire to type or play the guitar. Thanks for the concern but all is well.

How’s the family?

Wow, If I deliberately did something like mispelling words, I'd probably get sued.

That would be like Microsoft actually marketing software with security holes, or processing flaws in their program code! They would never do something like that.

When I by something, I want it to be what it is advertised to be. No wonder so many kids are failing in school! They don't know how to spell!!! :)

"There is actually a huge expose' on one of the local stations how the IDOT doesn't oversee the funds properly and allows bid collusion (not proven to be intentional) to occur, driving up the cost of construction. Couple that with the fact that many states give preference to union labor (when they don't restrict projects to such labor) and it is no surprise that costs are sky high."

IDOT are a bunch of church nuns in comparison to the city of Boston. Did ya eva hear of da BIG DIG? That whistling sound you hear is the air blowing through the dilated sphincters of the Massatooshits tax payers. (All of a sudden I picture Ted Kennedy with a rosy bulbous nose standing with a monster dildo in one hand and a copy of your check stub in the other)

Oh yeah by the way, a while back your comment on John Cougar Menstralcramp......... I still chuckle about that.

Stevee, Windsor St. it is. You win the prize! Oh wait, there is no prize...nevermind... lol!

Alexandre, a liver crisis sounds serious. Prayers and good vibes to you honey. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Jazzy, I was driving to the grocery store after work and I had Pantera blasting. I had the window open a bit, bit figured I better close it back up. I was singing so loud ~ It’s time to change, It can’t stay the same, Revolution is my name, It will never change, So here it stays, Forever is my name! lmao! I didn't want to scare anybody. LOL! I'm tellin' ya bro, ya gotta get that "Best of" cd/DVD I told you about. It's killer! I'll be checking out the one you mentioned earlier. Hope you're feeling better to :)

SupaaDave, since I'm on the mom side of the "daddy's in a band" thang, it's tough to be home alone on weekends taking care of a baby while dad's out having a blast. Every great once in a while we would get a babysitter, but I hated that because it had to be an overnight thing. Weekends were the one time we had to be together, and the band was killin' it. Two nights a week for band practice, then 2 nights on the weekend, all for maybe $25 to $40! It just wasn't worth it and he finally gave it up. I was really proud of him and loved to see him on stage, but the timing was bad. He tried again a few years later, but the group of people who hung out with the band sucked. They were more interested in getting fall down drunk in an old barn where the practices were held with so much cigarette smoke in it you could barely breathe. The women would just let their kids run wild because they were to drunk to care and playing cards was more important. It was ugly, and I wound up being the uptight bitch because I chose to stay sober and take care of my kids. Needless to say, my husband went to most of the practices and gigs himself. He eventually quit that band too. To much time invested for hardly any money or happiness in the band. My daughter wasn't a newborn during the first band he was in as a parent. She was about 6 months old. I'm sure some mom's have great experiences when their guys are in a band. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. Did I mention that the leader of the band had no kids? You could always see how it goes, but SupaaMom & Supaababy should be priority #1. By the way, I'll shoot for March 8th as the baby's due date ;-)

Hi estrela!!

Mari, are you sick again?? Geez man, crank up the echinachea (sp?) girl!!

hello Davey!!!

bbm 1889, I have the Guitar World, Revolver, and Guitar Legends magazines with a tribute to Dimebag in them. I have to read them in small doses because it is so sad :( Your tent thing sounds like it would be a cool hang out. Sorry you got busted...for nuthin.

Michelle - The reasons you stated were the reasons I waited until my girls were older to start playing out again. Plus like I said we only practice once a week and all of us have kids.

Cuth, Namm - The big dig is always a good conversation starter among us transpo geeks. We have a Parsons/Bickerhoff (they were the engineers) office here in town and when ever I see people that I know from that office I always ask how the project is going and if they have found any more leaking cracks. LOL I normally get a stern look back. Ooohhh, good times!!

michelle: Thanks a lot. I was indeed planning to get the best of pantera. I really want to get that dvd and cd too. I have been listening to a lot of pantera lately, for some odd reason, but whatever it is, its a great feeling! I am really enjoying yesterday dont mean shit and Death rattle. and i commend you for attempting to sing pantera! I am such a horrible singer I cant even sing along to any of the music I listen to. Thats why I listen to to satch often. no singing, lol. Do you like Pink Floyd? If you do, try to get this In Absentia by Porcupine Tree. Its this fantastic band from England. You can listen to them here have a good night :)

ocps: thanks man, I will definitely email you for more q's. thanks a lot once again for the demo. It's pretty slick.

Angie Read: that game is awesome, I love it. Right up my alley. The Joe one was pretty easy for me! Try playing it with a band who only has one album out, especially when they use a similar sound for the different songs! I got 9/10 twice for them...bah!

i have 'Cats & Dogs' on dvd ;D i love Mr. Tinkles he's a riot - and his sidekick, the one voiced by Jon Lovitz.

i have never laughed so much in a movie theatre - when Mr. Tinkles offers up the entire continent of Australia - i lost it, most of the room did.

something tells me the rest of the world wouldn't of found it as funny - but being an Aussie it was hilarious

CuthBert1776:

Well put.

If I may continue by adding that this legislation is merely another in a long line of such bills that take our freedoms away from us, publicize our private lives, and make a mockary of the true intention of this country.

It goes a long way back even before this country was founded.

Once upon a time there existed a place where true freedoms were the only concepts that were considered important and valuable. It was something actually worth fighting for. This place was called Alexandria. This ancient city, where science methods were being first developed also had free education. The important point of life was becoming a better human. Educators were volunteers as was the student. Medicine began at this place, the earliest known record of real physics and astronomy was being developed, the Earth going around the Sun along with the mathematics to prove it was found here! Well before the Roman Empire. In the Time of Ptolemy and Cleopatra.

Of course it was ripe for resources and hated by conquerors. The Philosphies were counter to capitalism and seen as a philosophical nightmare. Ideas were too revolutionary. How does one make money after all? From an emperors perspective I mean.

You need people to work for the benefit of the Empire. Food needs farming, Clothes need quilting, shoes, boots, etc. You can't have people learning of more important things and questioning the reason that they need the Emperor. You must have control of the economy. Profitable ideas untried are taboo, unproven, feared for even being considered.

You must rid yourself of any philosophy of Gods other than what you are familiar with and make it blasphemus to do so otherwise. How do you do that? Fear, plain and simple, a tool even cavemen used to keep the peace perhaps.

Work a deal with your top religious representatives and form a plan. Impose this religion to all and make them fear if they do not comply. For if they do not they will be placed into a place that is the worst nightmare of all things existing on Earth, in fact it is not of this Earth. (this is especially good since no comprehension of a life other than one on Earth existed) "Huh...its the occult! A place where the most horrific things take place and once there you will not die or escape. For all eternity. Then you give them some real life demonstrations of fear and death, destroy some villages, rape, torture, men, women, and children. Dispatch some propaganda throughout the Empire.

Destroy all data that could lead to a questioning of this act such as burning the Libraries, book burnings, journals, etc. Literally wipe it from the face of the planet. As you develop your new religion you can tweak it every now and then, when necessary to fend off any unforseen or intolerable niches that flare up. But, more importantly you now have a workable work force for your bidding.

continued next post.

Take a look for yourself, you will find significant philosophical differences between the Empires that existed up to and before Alaxendria, and those Empires since the destruction of it. The most obvious difference is that of education institutions. At first none exist, then a very limited amount but controlled by the Empire. This is due to the customizations and tweaks made over the years, you can't keep all of them down. Aristotle was a large contributor to this concept. Some people are just naturally intelligent and begin writing ideas down, then it is passed from one to another until it becomes an important part of education, only controlled in its release. It is controlled by limiting the exposure to the public by means of money, and power. You cannot have a proper education without getting into one of these controlled institutions. And, though there are intentional loopholes made so that those who are more intelligent but not of means can also benefit, they are not a large percentage at all.

You see, if you let everyone have a free education who will take the shit pots to the river? The more unfortunate conclusion is that most people are mindless cows. So long as you give them food, shelter, and a carrot to chase, this is all they will do.

The governments of today are of the herds before and now are in a autopilot mode to keep this completely natural feeling of existence going. The numbers, growing exponentially, simply far outwiegh the ability to stop it. Barring a global tragedy of some sort it will not stop. It is so clear to me that I laugh cynically at its beauty now, it is an art formed unto itself.

X->out

Not much of the 'student life' left for him!!! lol

Steven Wilde, allright bro, hows things with you? hows things with you and this california babe huh?! hehe, hope all is good! No I still didn't get th new part yet, but I'm told it's meant to arrive today, so if it does, I can build my system today. I exchenged my RG yesterday for a bass amp, a Boss bass compressor pedal and a Line 6 POD 2! I haven't played the RG since I had it repaired, so thought I'd change it for something more useful! The bass amp is only tiny - it's a Laney 15watt practice amp, but....it works! The POD is cool, It'll take me a while to learn how to use it and set it up, but it's "Pilot's Handbook" is comprehensive, to say the least!

Good to say you've been getting into the blues-playing thing.....excellent! Keep going dude, blues is fun, G3 96's rendition of Red House being an excellent case-in-point.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - everybody needs to get themselves a copy of Population 1, the new album/venture from Nuno bettencourt
agape1010, get the JS1000.....you don't need to pay that much extra just for a different colour and a different pickup that can be replaced at low expense. Anyway, the Burnt Transparent Blue, or whatever they call it, is more exciting than the Candy Apple red.
Suzie, thanks for the heads-up on Collateral. I didn't see that either, and have been wondering what it's like! I'll have to get it when I can! Are you on half term this week?
Stevee T, yeah it's interesting what you said about the JS100 - I've always found they sound and play far, far better than anything else at the same price! The stock pickups, even though they are just Ibanez ones, are pretty good!
XtrChessReal/civgeek/agape, not quite.....the JS 1200 has exactly the same Edge Pro 2 trem on it as the JS1000. It's the JS2000 that has the crazy fixed bridge with the fine tuners.
NJBeast, sorry about your gran, that sucks. I wish there was a neater way of dealing with incurable cancers, rather than just pumping people full of drugs. Still, at least the drugs help stop the pain...
jazzzzy, this picture of Satch you want to put up, is it just a photo or is it an edit like before? If it's an edit, mail it to me and I'll put it up on my webshots page.

oops, I just saw that you uploaded it. still, if you want it hosted in another place then you're welcome to send it!
