Steven- Hi and thanks for the e-mail- having a bit of trouble connecting to the internet tonight for some reason, what with that and a friend of ours' noisy 6 year old shouting in my ear hole, it's a funny old evening tonight! Why do kids make so much damn noise?!!!!

I'd almost given up hope of it ever snowing in SE England this year, but apparently it may snow in the next few days...?

Then I might wangle an extra day off work! Will keep my fingers crossed, anyway...

Suzie- hey there! Snow eh? Yeah, I Love snow, I wish i could build a snowperson. I neever got to play in the snow ever. Isn't that something about kid's? They are loud, And some even stay Loud, wheb there grownLOL Glad your having a nice saturady evening! see ya' later............................BIG BAD MOON- Cool, Rock on! You've got the sprit! Much cheer's! Glad your doing well! I am ok talk to ya later!..........................js22- I haven't recorded, anything Of cover Joe, Tunes yet. I was thinking of one to to though! I really like "up in flames" and "thing" I know those the best. But I dont thave a synth. for the backing of "love thing' And I am so busy with trying to come up with my own 'original' style, That's unlike anything anyones evre heard before. That I find is very difficult, To be original. Cover tunes are so much easier!! Anyway, glad your doing great! Im ok Talk tou soon!

Steven- yeah, we let the kid hog the TV for a while but there was only so much Power Rangers we could all take!

So we eventually (after the screaming hab-dabs) put on School of Rock - he hates it... :-)

AngieRead, haha, I like how you refrained from overtly directing that "Anger Management" post at me! hehe

Steven Wilde, howdy bro! Yeah the recording situation looks to be improving....I got the replacement part I needed today and have spent a couple of hours this evening physically assembling my new computer. Some time this week I shall turn it on for the first time (the scariest bit!) and set it up then install windows. And then I can install my sound card drivers, and then I can set aside a day to install Cubase and all my plugin software - about 50 plugin tools for different processes and effects - and then I can start recording again! Give me another week and I hope I'll be "back in the groove", as it were.

Dude, sorry to hear your Dubbing unit is getting croaky. I always find it really frustrating when something good gets sick, cause it's hard to find something newer which actually has the same functionality. Lots of things seem to be packed with gimmicks these days, without much of the common sense that makes things good to use.....I hope you get lucky and manage to find a decent replacement!

achoo, I really want to see Constantine, it seems to have a very intrigueing concept at it's core.
OCPS470, haha, yeah learning specs and technical data on sports cars is even a bit much for me! I can learn basic stuff like engine configuration/layout, capacity and drivetrain, but I don't bother with much more than. I leave it for the special cars I'm really interested in! haha. because of my current activity of building a very-new, very up-to-date power PC, I have learned a lot about the technical side of current computer technology. However, I try my best not to repeat any of it at length....that's generally kind of inconsiderate! hehe
VFRocker, 45 mins from Ely? excellent! I don't feel confident about my driving test on monday, but at some point in the next few months, I will pass. When I do that I'll probably plan a trip up to see my sister, which could easily include a minor excursion to meet the VFR man! haha, that's hilarious, about having an aversion to instruction manuals. I usually have the same, but I've been studying all the literature with my PC components, cause I can't afford to get anything wrong!
Delfino, gilbert plays Viking Kong on the Guitar Wars DVD, the essential tool for seeing what he's doing! cool song, especially when he's playing it with Nuno Bettencourt playing harmony!
Oooh, vai's new album will arrive through my door on monday! How exciting!

michelle: yes, I watched the whole dvd. the part that I laughed was when they were doing the radio commercial. Also, when Lars' dad says James Hetfield sounded like someone singing in an echo chamber. LMAO!!! And yes, I was quite startled when Rob got a million bucks just for getting in the band. what the ???

Hi Joe!

I tried writing you an intro letter the other night, but I'm not sure if it was sent right or not, so I am sending you one more.

jMy name is Deborah Duggan and I live in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was introduced to you by my husband on our second date, when he played me "Love Thing". He got me hooked on you and we both think you are great!!!

Eric has been a fan of yours since he first heard you in 1988. He has always dreamed of seeing you and he is going to get his chance. We will be in Las Vegas on vacation the week of April 3. And we found out through your website that you will be in Phoenix on April 6. So for Valentine's Day I gave him 2 tickets to the show (of course, he can't come without me)! We are renting a car in Vegas and driving to Phoenix and back all in one day, but we are so excited and know that it will be well worth the trip.

Anyway, we would give anything to meet you, but I'm sure you get this all of the time. If you are giving away backstage passes to this show, we might be lucky enough to win. In case we don't, though, would you please play "Love Thing" for Eric & ?. It would be awesome!!!

See you in Phoenix (hopefully backstage)!

Deborah Duggan

ibanezmike: www.rockmagic.net is pretty good. If you use Internet explorer, you may have to deal with annoying pop ups. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, you're safe.

Hi! It's my first post. I'm guitar player, and I was trying to find out what kind of effect or pedal Satriani used in the music called Searching of the new album. It's the part that goes from 00:00:56 to 00:01:20 in the music.

AAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

FARGIN' COMPUTERS, I HATE THEM HATE THEM HATE THEM.

Mine has crashed once again, infected and everything was gone for the second time in a month aaaugggghhhhhhhhh!! It is so distressing and depressing and I'm so pissed!!! Tuesday I am unplugging everything and taking it in to be wiped completely out to see if that fixes anything, so won't be answering any e-mails or anything for awhile. Sorry Steven and Mark, I'll answer when I can but I'll only have my computer at work for a half hour a day to check on T2J, look at mail, etc.

Okay, rant over, (not really, it continues here at home) and wanted to reply to a couple of things:

JuJu808, PLEASE take extra care and caution to keep yourself safe. We can't live our lives in fear, but can be very aware of safety and potential risks. Michelle had good advice for you, so please be careful.

Estrela, we are still here!! My son is doing okay, we've made some changes to some things at school so hopefully he will do better there. He's trying to decide on a Satch song to play for the talent show at school later this year.....there are so MANY fantastic songs, it's hard to choose! But that will all be part of the fun leading up to the show. I hope he does Joe proud!!

Stevee T, UNFAIR QUESTION!! Lol!! Joe is like potato chips, you can't eat just one, so how can we be expected to choose just one album of his to be stranded with!! That's impossible!! :) I gotta have em all!! PLUS any new ones that come out while I'm stranded...somebody better float me a package!! And I'm with Estrela, DVD's are vital too, gotta have all the Joe DVD's ever made right there with me....and a player and electricity of course! I can live on coconuts and fish for the rest of my life, but CANNOT live without my Joe fix every day!!

It's likely going to snow here tomorrow and Monday..whoohoo that I have the day off and can snuggle down at home....hope everyone else has a fabulous weekend! TaTa!
