I wonder if some nice person out there might randomly place the actual words of the acronyms they use every now and again for a reminder as to what it means. I am sure I could find the definition at some internet sight if I looked. However, it also doesn't hurt to explicitly say something clearly.

For instance: lol can mean several different things and even within context it can still be confused.

lol - by itself could mean four different things.

lol with llllllllllloooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllll ha ha ha ha ha is much more clear.

Lots of Love

All:

I recently read a post here that led me to believe that a discussion about organizing the T2J forum into topics was in the works.

I would just like to say that I for one would not feel that to be a good thing. I like this site because It sort of forces you to involve yourself with everyone, at least in reading the topics. Many to which one might not have otherwise replied to if it happened in a different page in the site.

Streaming conciousness would then be broken.

DCK ah ok cool, once again, cheers.

OCPS470 I dunno about the jealousy thing but otherwise yeah I agree 100%, its not a competition its an interest. I've gone at my own pace learning as I've taught myself luckily there are some musicians in my school who aren't self-absorbed and think they are better than everyone else, so I just mingle with those guys who are actually really cool anywayz.

1 minute till I have to leave for college and its snowing...

udum = you don't understand me
ugi = You got it
w4u = waiting for you
waef = when all else fails
WE! = WeekEnd!
wk = who knows

I think that should be the words that are used most at chatrooms
btw (by the way): I don´t like the abbreviations very much and so I don´t use it very often (so I can say: iha) And I also do not hang around in chatrooms often, but I know what it means *lol*
Also was first wondering about the abbreviations like “hand”, “time” and ”jam” .......

all other abbreviations like ITLIS, FIABD are the titles from Joe´s albums (ITLIS means: Is there love in space, so FIABD means ......... yes: Flying in a blue dream, you´ve got it!) or other albums from different artists.

hih (hope it helps)

StringSurfer – I can understand you, I´m also always looking for new fotos at the road section, just to know what´s going on out on the road, but I think the webmaster has to do a lot of other work (also if I don´t know what it is exactely.....)

Have a nice day everyone ........ tune ;-)

BigBunny thanks for the reply. I would love to be able to just buy a ticket and go anyway, but I'm not able to risk the $70 on a ticket... What if they don't let me in? That's $70 bucks down the drain :P

I called the venue right when the tickets went on sale, and they said I couldn't get in even with a guardian... Am I doomed to miss seeing my favourite guitarist?

AngieRead, god dammit, how could you? hahaha, I'm only kidding....no it didn't offend me at all, I thought it was really funny cause I thought it was kind of indirectly for my purposes! haha. It's all good...
sweetpicking, if you like Nuno Bettencourt you must check out his Mourning Widows stuff and his Population 1 stuff.....both are an excellent showcase of his many talents, and push towards him being probably the best rhythm player on the planet
Sax Player, I know what you mean, though I agree with sweetpicking, B.R.O is an awesome track! I guess Racer X hits the the spot on occasion, but usually it's too shreddy for me!
jazzzzy, hope your Flu doesn't last long bro! take it easy...
OCPS470, that's pretty cool, you've definitely always had the musical influences required to make you a natural musician. Do you ever think of seriously taking up anything else?
marimariSRV, thanks for your hilarious mails! The billboards were great. The "hand" freaked me out a bit though! hehe

ZenFish I look forward to hearing your music at some point. :-) I agree with your comments on jazz, its become just like a more complex blues these days. You can but the 'how to play jazz' books, which kind of seems like a contradiction compared to the original spirit of the music.

962 Sorry if you've already posted it man, but how did the test go ?

BLOND JOKES FOR TODAY

ASTROLOGY

Two blondes living in Arkansas were sitting on a bench talking.......and one blonde says to the other: "Which do you think is farther away..........Florida or the moon?"

The other blonde turns and says:

"Helloooooooooo, can you see Florida.......?????

CAR TROUBLE

A blonde pushes her BMW into a gas station. She tells the mechanic it died.

After he works on it for a few minutes, it is idling smoothly.

She says, "What's the story?"

He replies, "Just crap in the carburetor"

She asks, "How often do I have to do that?"

SPEEDING TICKET

A police officer stops a blonde for speeding and asks her very nicely if he could see her license.

She replied in a huff, "I wish you guys would get your act together. Just yesterday you take away my license and then today you expect me to show it to you!"

BLONDE ON THE SUN

A Russian, an American, and a Blonde were talking one day.

The Russian said, "We were the first in space!"

The American said, "We were the first on the moon!"

The Blonde said, "So what? We're going to be the first on the sun!"

The Russian and the American looked at each other and shook their heads.

"You can't land on the sun, you idiot! You'll burn up!" said he Russian.

To which the Blonde replied, "We're not stupid, you know. We're going at night!"

IN A VACUUM

A blonde was playing Trivial Pursuit one night. It was her turn.

She rolled the dice and she landed on Science & Nature. Her question was, "If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?"

She thought for a time and then asked, "Is it on or off?"

FINALLY, THE BLONDE JOKE TO END ALL BLONDE JOKES!

A girl was visiting her blonde friend, who had acquired two new dogs, and asked her what their names were.

The blonde responded by saying that one was named Rolex and one was named Timex.

Her friend said, "Whoever heard of someone naming dogs like that?"

"HelOOOooo," answered the blond. "They're watch dogs.
