Alexandre, glad you're feeling better. My pop is getting a little better. He had a doctor appt. yesterday. Doc says he's still in bad shape and probably will be for a while with the Lyme arthritis. He got a shot for pain. My pop is very frustrated because he's not one to sit around and do nothing.

Greyfox, I like Korn. The band's sound probably won't change. Walking out of a band as successful as Korn ain't no joke. Head must have really wanted to go. Good luck to him. As for Blink-182, they're a great band to watch with the sound off. lol! They always look like they're having fun, but their music just isn't my cup o' tea.

MICHELLE Matthew is doing ok. He did have the bone part removed...mastoidectomy...the doctor said it was pretty bad. Matthew's ear was full of fluid, should have been air.
Matthew has to wear a "cup" over his ear until thursday for the post-op with the doctor. He is taking 650mg of Tylenol every 4 hours for pain.

Thanks for the prayers. You would have been so proud of him. He bravely let them start an I-V and did very well, not just for a 7 year old, but for any patient. He will be 8 years old April 12, 2005.

kd6aaj, kids are very resilient, which is why I said I'd also put the family in my prayers. Sometimes it's harder on the parents. They should give the parents those nice chill pills they give the kids before surgery. lol! Sorry to hear they had to go into the bone, but I bet he'll be just fine. 650 mgs of Tylenol is a lot for a little guy. Pain management is key though. I must have missed the post about your niece. What happened to her?
