kendalslack, or anyone in the know much prefer phpbb or ANY php-based bulletin board, to be honest, lol.

One day, the webmaster (or so I like to dream) will upgrade the boards to phpbb or vb or ivb, or anything

What the hell did all that mean!!! I am completely lost.

I like the way this forum is organized as well. All in one place.

Other sites are nice as well - but then you have tons of areas to check and read.

Here - it is one stop shopping.

It is the wal-mart of message boards.

962:.......well, um, I guess I'm all screwed up haah! Man, I thought the JS series had medium frets? I'll have to tell you, the Dunlop frets (of any size) make a HUGE diff. My Chellee model 1 has Dunlop 6100 fret wire, which is real similar in height and width to a jumbo Ibanez fretwire. The diff, is that the strings seem to make much better contact and sustain better with the Dunlop frets. I don't know what they're doing, but something must be slightly different about Dunlop's materials. I'm pretty sure they ar just plain old nickel frets, not the crazy stainless steel frets haah!

Phrydom: Heck man, if you're right there in GA, you need to come down to Orlando some time so we can meet up and jam. Heck, you ought to come down in june (I think) for Jemfest 2005. Matt King will be there with his band.

VFRocker, HAHAHAHA, THANK YOU! Finally, something that put a smile on my face! cheers dude! hehe, yeah, I'll get the anger management issue sussed first!

anyway, yeah I'm only 21. have been using Cubase for about a year I suppose. I'm by no means an expert but have gained a surprising amount of experience just from using it with my buddy alex, who is an expert! he's taught me loads, and I suppose I'm somewhere around the good end of intermediate using it, but I'm really lazy. When Al and I work on projects they come out sounding nicely mixed and produced, properly done, but I never bother! hehe.

OCPS470, Ibanez do use medium frets, on the cheaper stuff. The high-end stuff like full-signature guitars and custom-shops, as well as the most prestigious of the prestige, get Jumbo Warmoth. Basically, if your Ibanez is costing you over a grand, you're getting Dunlop fretwire.

Ibanez make their own small and medium fretwires quite similar in construction to the Dunlop stuff. The metal itself is quite soft, compared to everyone else, which is what gives Ibanez that feel that you can never quite put your finger on. It's great for playing with and sounds more ballanced, less zingy, but the downside is that it wears out quicker.

I'm slightly concerned by how much trivial info on Ibanez stuff I have stored in my memory. I'm sure I could put that memory to better use.....oh well!

ANGER-MANAGEMENT SKILLS
1. Remember that feeling angry isn't wrong. Expressing that anger in unproductive and hurful ways is!
2. Learn to defuse your angry energy through relaxation. Learn to relax by using deep-breathing techniques and by picturing pleasant thoughts.
3. Work off the excess energy. Strenuous activity or exercise is an excellent tool for ridding yourself of pent-up tension and energy that could be released as anger.
4. Talk yourself through your anger. Often it's the running dialogue that goes on in our heads that fuels the anger we feel. But you can turn the table by learning to "talk yourself through" your anger.
5. "Use your words" - positively. Learn to express your attitudes, expectations, desires, and even your angry feelings directly and verbally instead of blowing up in frustration or expecting others to read your mind.
6. Learn to express your feelings without assigning blame. This will not only make a difference in your own mind; it will help keep the situation from escalating.
7. Go slow and soft. When in a heated conversation, slow down your speaking (literally) and soften your voice. It's difficult to explode when you're speaking in soft, restrained tones.
8. Lighten up and laugh! Sometimes we'd rather roll over and die before admitting to the the humor of a stressful situation.
9. Back off on the sarcasm. Don't forget that sarcastic and hurtful "humor" can be simply a passive-aggressive form of anger.
10.Journal your emotions of anger. Consider your journal a safe, no-holds-barred place to vent-as well as a place ton brainstorm creative solutions to anger-producing circumstances.
11.Think ahead about anger-producing situations. Prepare yourself mentally for circumstances that tend to push your buttons-and plan some strategies for defusing these situations.
12.In calm moments, focus on creative problem solving.Strategize about ways you could rearrange your life to avoid circumstances that tick you off.
13.Don't overlook the possible need for help with anger issues. A counselor with expertise in anger management can help.So can enrolling in a seminar or workshop on assertiveness training.
14.Don't forget to give yourself an occasional time-out! Sometimes the best response to emotional situations is just to count to ten and wait things out.

Dose Anyone Like Classical Music? KDFC 102.2 here in The San francisco area, has a wonderful classic station. They have what they call the Hour of sanity, And they Play some of the most Beuitful set's of Mozart, and Bach, They play a lot Bach, Brahm's, and At different height's of their career's. And great classic history! I am sure their are a lot of nice ones. It's just that I have been listeing to KDFC, for a LONGGGG time. And, i am really have learned A lot from all this classical background. I see why certain "metal" and "Rocker's" consider it to be so valuable! Anyway, Just rambling on

The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic State itself. That, in its essence, is Fascism; ownership of the government by the individual, by a group, or any controlling private power.

-Franklin D. Roosevelt

The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson.

-- U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in a letter written Nov. 21, 1933 to Colonel E. Mandell House.

the National Government will regard it as its first and foremost duty to revive in the nation the spirit of unity and cooperation. It will preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. It regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the family as the basis of national life."

Hey all, I'm a couple days behind in messages, I hope to catch up, but it doesn't look like I will. I hope everyone is well and that all you frineds and family are well. My band just started playing again after a month, an open mic night. It went well, but it's really hard to tell sometimes. If anybody is in the Jersey area I have a number for a guy that'll record demos for about ten dollars an hour. After I meet this guy, my friend talked to him on the phone, I'll let you all know how it went and if I can refer him to all ya'll out there in Satchville.... um...... OH YEAH!!! Does anybody have info about getting copyrighted?
