48 minutes left of pencil pushin', alomost free. Has anyone seen the movie Constantine? How was it. Hard to imagine Keanu Reeves as a hard, bad ass.

Also, anyone have an idea if there will be an EWJS DVD? Everytime I ask that question nobody knows.

Classical music is cool, its relaxing like.. i find it impressive aswell the skill involved, the orchestral music is amazing seeing those 50 people or so playing together like some huge amazing band, take steve vai played with loads of orchestras liek didnt he? soounds proper good mixed with rock eg. nightwish. i think more people shud be more open to music and discover the music that started all music, classical... dance music is rubish tho lol.. my favorite? pachelbels cannon

Joe, do you ever plan on making a DVD to your phenomenal EWJS tour? This is my perpetual question that I guess nobody answers in order not to pour salt.

If you make a DVD, I'll be your bestest bud. Whada ya say, huh pal?

Hi, Joe! It´s very nice to see you´re much better now, pneumonia is gone!

When are you coming to South America again? Is there any plan on your tour to come to Brazil again? And the G3 tour dates?

Please, don´t forget to rest enough, so that you´ll be able to play for us 150% again and again!!!

Best wishes,

Aline Melissa

Jazzy, so you were born march 28, 1982? Kinda creepy haah! Just kidding. Actually, Peter's wife, and his older brother (also called chris) were born on march, 26. We all discovered this while chatting. That'll creep you out haha!

Steven Wild: Teaching is great man! If you have the patience it's great. As long as you are willing to accept the fact that 90 percent of the students will have fun, learn some stuff, but not give it their all, and less than 10 percent will be very focused and practice in a hyper technical way that turns them into great lead/all around players. Those small percentage of gems, however, make it all worth it. Also, as long as you never let it turn into a business. I mean, the moment you look at the students/parents as ATM's instead of warm, likeable people, you're shot as a teacher. You ought to try giving lessons to a friend. Just be up front with them that they are kind of the "guinea pig" and give them free lessons to figure out what to do. I've been playing about 8.5 years now on guitar, and I started teaching by trying out that method on my friend, at about the end of my 1st year on the instrument. If it goes well, you'll develop a system that works, and you'll be able to pursue a teaching position at a music store (did that for 1.5 year) or freelance. It's all up to you, you just have to give it a go. I, or any of the countless others who teach music on this site will give you help with any specific questions you might have.

962: No need to get worried about useless info haha! I get scared when I'm able to give a detailed gear rundown of pretty much any prominent guitarist. I used to be bad like that with sports cars. Back in my early teens I was a big motor trend subscriber....I could tell you all the specs of diff sports car's engines and performance specs. Stuff like "dual over head cam, 5 valve percylinder etc etc." haha!

Civgeek Sounds like the hot lanes are a similiar idea to over here then (or vice versa). I can't comment on the Italian perspective of blocking traffic from city centres. Over here, for example in the nearest city to me, the city centre was pedestrianised about 30 years ago. I think as long there is alternative method of transport people aren't to bothered. There are a lot of 'park and ride' schemes operating on the weekends for the shoppers. Which is okay as long as you haven't been and bought a home gym - lmao ;-)

962 Glad to be of service man! lol. My afternoon at work didn't make my week any better, having to kiss ass through gritted teeth is not my idea of fun, but the client is always right. Leastways, if I told him what I really thought of him, we'd have no contract = no work= no job=no home. ....and would you liike to f**k me up the ass while I bend over that barrel , Sir? *groan* - lol, such is the way of the world. fyi, I'm 38, a failed guitarist with a natural talent for not being able to use technology and a complete inability to read instruction manuals ;-) I'm about 45 mins from Ely so hooking wouldn't be out of the question. btw - I hope you read Angie's post - ha ha.

Angie Read "Use your words" That is so weird, I first heard that expression about 4 months ago. It's what the nursery nurses tell the kids at our daughter's pre-school when they have tantrums, and it works too! We share a common ground regarding our entry to this site. I wandered in about 2.5 years ago, I'd moved to one of my companies other offices, bad news, no work week on week. I got hooked up in here and made some friends and became part of the 'family'. My trouble started when I moved back to the original office and work got busy (i wasn't on line at home), it's tough to keep up with everything in here. I finally got on line at home about a month ago, which takes the pressure off, but that was like 750 posts later!!! ha ha - how many works hours does that work out to ? I don't even like to think about :-)

Michelle Hope your good lady and that things are going well for your dad and the family.

PhryDom Got your tarck bro'..................... I mailed you back. Raising the bar for Vol. II - hell yeah !

Night all, time for bed. Zzzzzzzzzzzz

I just wanted to thank everybody for the welcome and there kindness. Yes, i am Amy Lee from that band and i see some people have doubts which i can relate to. Anyone can say yes i am that person, when they are not. I am a big fan of Joe Satriani, and i am so glad that i found this site, he is the most gifted man in all he does. We are in the process of getting some new material down, and trying to get another CD out. We will probably be out on the road again this Summer, with a new twist and moving away from the kiddie crowds. I wanted to respond to someone's question i was born in Little Rock, AR. and my parent's still live there but now i made the move to CA. But, i just wanted to be a regular here, i could of said no i am not her but i am and i am proud to be me. I hope this post does not ruin my welcome here, i just wanted to be up front about who i really am. Once, again thank you for the welcome and i am hoping to become part of this family, and to get into this man's music and into his soul. He and the whole band are totally amazing and maybe we can learn so much from him. Amy Lee
