Dizzy? Hum, maybe time to see the doctor? Maybe he could amputate something? (just kidding about seeing the doctor, but an amputation might be a good idea)

Hy to all at Satchland!

LucySorets - glad to hear that I could help with that abbreviations and meanings and I´m the same opinion about posting songs of the day, it seems that the songs of the day have to do with something that happens during the day or how you feel that time and the song can perfectly describe your feelings at the moment ...... So I´d like also to post my first song of the day:
Dire straits - Calling elvis (or should I write - calling Joe?) .... calling elvis, Is anybody at home? ..... .... you´ve got to tell him he´s still the man...... ;-)

michelle - How things goin´ with your pop? Hope everything´s ok with him...

And a Hy all other guys out there at this community (also to the newbies) - hope you are all working busy on your songs for the new T2J CD.......
By the way: has anyone an idea how many people have sent the song for the new CD project?
I´m thinking about to send my one...... but I do not think it´s good enough, it´s my very first song (so there are no speed licks in my piece of music, but there´s a short and easy tapping sequence)
I´ve never recorded a song before, lots of other things to do and no time for making music :-(
Perhaps I find a way to finish the song ........

I wish all of you a wonderful day........ tune ;-)

There is a nasty flu going around - one strand is about 2 weeks of sickness.

The other, the bird one, can kill you.

If they amputate you at the neck - that would cure it, right?

MIKESB, STEVEE T Thanks. Was it Michelle that asked about my niece? My wife's sister had a baby girl on Valentines day. We knew from the beginning (from one of her first doctor visits) that the baby had a birth defect called anencephaly
from http://www.healthfinder.gov/news/newsstory.asp?docID=523018 "For example, women are advised to take folic acid at least a month before planning to become pregnant. Folic acid, or folate, is a B vitamin necessary for proper cell growth. Studies show it can decrease the risk for neural tube birth defects, including spina bifida, a leading cause of childhood paralysis, and anencephaly, a fatal condition in which parts of the brain and skull cap are missing.

About 2,200 babies are born with neural tube defects each year in the United States, according to the March of Dimes.

It's important to get enough folic acid before becoming pregnant because the neural tube -- the part of the embryo that becomes the brain and spinal cord -- develops in the first couple weeks of pregnancy. Forty percent of American women of childbearing age now get enough of the vitamin to help prevent birth defects, according to a 2004 March of Dimes survey. That's up from 32 percent the previous year -- a sharp increase, but far from the majority.

My sister-in-law has a 6 year old girl, Danielle, with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a condition where the left side of the heart is under-developed. She only had the right half of her heart, and a small, useless chamber on the left.

Danielle had maybe 3 surgeries so far. You would never know by looking at her. She runs and plays like any other kid, but look much smaller compared to others her age. Her proportions are correct, she is just kind of miniature.
her lips tend to turn blue when she is cold or playing too hard.
There is a 13 year old boy, Kristopher, with no defects.

I have my faith in God to keep me going, and to tell the truth, I keep forgetting about Danielle's heart condition :)

Thank you all for the prayers. Take care of your bodies, drugs can screw with your chemistry as well! Wouldn't want "no 2 headed chickens or 3 eyed frogs, canine-feline little CatDog". From the Cat-Dog cartoon.

Steven- sorry to hear you're feeling "flu-ey" if there is such a word?? Get better soon, my friend! Thanks for the encouragement about the piano practice by the way- some days I get home from work, and the last thing I feel like doing in the world is sitting at the piano and practising, with the pressure of knowing I have a big exam in a little under 3 weeks... but I have to force myself through it just the same.... Hope your day goes well!

Estrela- Hi!

Looks like the aliens might surf a dark matter diamond beach. I say Diamond whereas an article floated in the past month spoke to theoretical planets where the surface is made entirely of diamond; verily, a crystal planet. Tell D.D. I say hi. Oh, hi Avarice. Truly, some kind of monstrous tale...

Ibanez Fox: that's cool. I myself am into the heavier side of things, but I'm interested in hearing the new Krutch CD when it comes out. I thought Relient K were good live when I saw them, even though I'm not a big fan. I do a radio show once a week where we play all that kind of stuff.

Grey Fox: but Slipknot splitting just means there'll be two Slipknots. There's enough guys for two or three bands there...hahaha

Cheese: "hare today, goon tomorrow" ahhh that is awful! I've never heard that bit before.

Michelle: "...great band to watch with the sound off..." funny! ... I did find some good poetry in some of their songs, and they were pop enough to be able to listen to (not necessarily enjoy listening to) ...

"Gripping the wheel, his knuckles went white with desire! The wheels of his Mustang exploding on the highway..."

I immediately thought of this when I read that: "Reluctantly crouched at the starting line, engines pumping and thumping in time. The green light flashes, the flags go up, churning and burning, they yearn for the cup..."

Philip: use the [hr] tags or an empty line and put all your messages in one post. Another hint is to have two pages open, one for reading, and one for typing into the box.
