Lucy, I found some amazing pictures of the Windsor Tower on fire that look very, very bad. I don't know much about what the building was, but any fire of that magnatude is always a tremendous loss (or any fire for that matter). I also can't read everything the photos say, but the pictures tell quite a story. Did they just let it burn itself out? How did it start? Were any people injured or killed?

Suzie, we got some snow here last night and a bit today. Just enough to make things wet and messy. It wasn't a pretty, flakey snow. It was a wet, heavy, blekky snow. lol!

Message to Joe Satriani
Joe, I was hanging out at the drop zone wearing a Satch T-shirt. Me and a few friends were discussing you. I heard you have flown the GulfStream. My husband and I would like to know: what's it like and have you completed your flight training? My husband is a pilot~

Does anybody know whatever became of Vito Bratta? Did he do anything after White Lion broke up? I liked the way he played.

Hey SteveeT, It is always fun to share/turn people on to different stuff... Just like the old days when you used to get a charge out of making a friends jaw drop with some new virtuoso on vinyl lol. Stuff was obviously not as accesible back then so the "wow" factor of a new discovery was amplified!! There were fewer worthy virtuosos as well. Having said that, one man's chicken salad is often another mans chicken__it, but in the case of Ricky Garcia, it was a no-brainer. Anyone who loves Joe or Andy T would certainly at a minimum respect his work.
Welcome back to your bad self as well.. Where wuz U ???

White Lion was one of the best of the hair bands. I also liked Trixter. What happened to Steve Brown?

canchito- good question, i dont think vito ever resurfaced after white lion.
Anyone here remember when much music used to hold guitar wars. There was one guy who was amazing. His name was Aldo Vaccaro. He did this sick 2handed tapping technique...never heard from him since.

mikesb...thanks for the return welcome. Andy T & Ricky Garcia are both very talented devoted guitarists, and I enjoy & look forward to listening to & finding someone better than Joe....(although I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon). I went to Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun Casino's, in Connecticut, but returned early last night with a very bad cold....oh well...back to work!

michelle: I have never seen a Harry Potter movie. How many are there? At this moment, I could use Lar's dad beard to dust my desk. I'm looking for a duster.

HEY JOE!!!
im just sitting here listenin to you album "flying in a blue dream", i just love those hammer ons.
id like to know where your inspiration comes from, you seem to just throw out jaw dropping song after song.
and you take the melody to the extrem.
i would also like to know what scales +modes you tend to fall back on while practising.
i love to shread and tapp and sweep alot.
but you do your own thing, what would you call your teckneqe?
i would love to be where you are in life right now, knowing that your independant.
im am 18 and am working in construction with my dad.
i want so bad to make it in music. the work that im doing is very hard on my hands, i use alot of hand cream and i look after them in what way posable but im just afraid of injuring myself and having to give up guitar, and if that was to happen life would be unbearable,
if you have any advise pleas e-mail me at darren_loughran@eircom.net..........dar...........thanks

Fablawyer of SBM: Ronnie, No problem....we'll def meet up. I missed out on the presale (soldout) but I have my ticket before you...hmmmm... Don't make sence but that's the way it is, maybe to throw scalpers a curve? Who knows, I'm just guessing.....I took Medical Boards in Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapy. Therefore I am a Registered Technologist in Rad. Technology(R.T.) and Radiation Therapy.(T) My credentials....Mari Crouse RT. (R.T.) (T.) I know your law boards are very very tough....killer! Good Luck!!! We can celebrate in NYC lol! Hang in there my friend......
Michelle: Thanks for the get well wishes. I'm taking it really slow......I've got 2 shows this weekend, Social Distortion. I met my friend Curt out in Cali at NAMM and he's been with the band for 2 1/2 years. I'm heading up to NYC to see him while the band has 2 days off before Fri and Sat nites shows.....
I just happened to run out of my (Flintstone )Vitamine's (J/K) ....so I'll be heading to Wallmart to stockup this week! Yes, I need to build up my immmune system. Damn Straight!!
I've never been so sick in all my life! I've also never traveled as much in my life either......hmmmmm.... makes you wonder....
SteveeT: How's it going? I hope you cold won't stick around.... get well soon! Rest and take care of yourself!! I was just wondering, were you posting on T2J when you saw Joe at Looney Tunes? I don't remember seeing you here then but I know I can be wrong. I came here after seeing Joe and Steve on the G3-03 tour in November 03 never realized that someone might talk to me.....I thought I better check back (in Dec/Jan) to see if Joe had talked to me.....he didn't but some really cool people like Michelle, Ovation and Jazzer13 (he's not been around for a while) spoke to me.....That's when I figured out this place, well sort of..... it took me a long time to figure out what T2J meant......I'm serious! I'm very blonde sometimes.....lol. I had just gotten my computer so it was all very new to me. Hell... it still is. Ramble On......
Nite peeps!
Mari
