Delfino, hope it clears up mate, that sounds royally nasty! take it easy

SupaaDave, haha, that's so true, on getting super-efficient and speed-scanning posts! hehe
estrela, yeah it's pretty frustrating isn't it? I really wish that just one year's war budget could be revoked, and instead given to African aid. Imagine how many communial water pumps you could provide to African villages with a 120,000,000.00. Also, it costs about 1.5 million dollars a minute to keep fighter-bombers in the air. Thinks like Harriers, and Hornets. They were flying all the time for a few weeks in the last bombardment in the Gulf. The total cost of american and allied air-to-ground attacks during the Afghan/Iraqi skirmish goes into billions. Imagine what you could do with, say, 5 billion dollars?!

The Future Warrior Program is definitely interesting, and all credit to the guys engineering the technology, but it all just seems such a waste of potential. haha, sorry, that ended up being a rant didn't it?! :-D

Jazzzzzy, I'm not into RI much. I just don't hear any soul or emotion in any of it. It's technically about as clever as the whole world was anticipating, which is great....it'll give the magazines something to chew on. I dunno man....I just feel he's put the wrong kind of thought into it, it's all so contrived.

BWAHAHAHA. "btw. I downloaded Fallen. great album" Sly man, sly. That cracked me up......did you download from something like iTunes or did you just get some "free samples"?! Maybe you shouldn't answer that! take it easy bro...

cheese101, "some are really hilarious and some are very talented". "but nobody's both?" HAHAHAHA. Sorry, I just had to interpret that in a stupid way didn't I?!
Amy Lee, don't worry about feeling out of place. Give it a few more weeks and you'll find it easier cause you'll recognise people. Some people may still completely miss your point and fail to treat you like a normal person, but that's to be expected. have fun in your new house
Where is Mikey D? Good vibes being sent to Mikey D wherever he's at!
Joe, so you're working on another new record later this year? I really really hope you put osme more vocal tracks on there, your vocal signature on ITLIS? is really awesome!

I hope you still got my dad's pick that my sister gave you last summer! You know, his ashes now rest in Hidden Valley, Joshua Tree National Park. If you ever feel like going to Joshua Tree, give him a visit, he'd love to meet you!

Take it easy Joe, have fun in the snow if you're up to it!

all is tired and sleepy here in Highlands Ranch, Colorado USA

Trying to balance good work on my recordings with appropriate sleep. Up for 48 hours with 1 hour of sleep about 22 hours ago.

My body wants to shut down but my brain keeps rockin out creativity.

When I close my eyes I see flashes of light, but all I hear is this melody that keeps goin around and around. Much like a round.

Okay I am delerious and possibly bordering some psychosis.

Theres a good one "Delerious Psychosis" I was waiting for a good song title.

I must go now

Late - X

Hy friends,

just a quick jump onto the site to look whatīs goinīon here.....

cuthbert1776 - Yes, I know some people who have alopecia universalis too, sorry to hear, itīs sometimes hard enough to live with alopecia areata..... but as long as you can take an advantage out of it to look cool.....

estrela - Yes, I shave my head, and yeah, it looks very cool, I like it a lot, although it gives you an unusual look when yourīre a woman, but it has the big advantage, that this kind of "hairstyle" is easy to handle.... :-)

danny k - wow, listenend to your tunes at soundclick, great tunes, Iīm far away from that perfection.........

cheese101 - I can only agree to what you said about Joe and this community....

AmyLee - welcome to the site - wow, I canīt believe it: the amazing AmyLee of Evanescence! Sorry, I didnīt realize that you have registered here, never enough time to read every post .... :-(
Ok, I know itīs the wrong site but: my sister and I are big fans of Evanescence,we were at the concert in Vienna last year, keep on doinī that fantastic music....... and: PLEASE - DONīT LEAVE THE SITE!!!
Perhaps - if you have some time left - can you tell us a few things about your musical inspiration like Joe does and also what you think about his music?....And I hope you get the informations about Joe you would like to have.....

Information for everyone (especially for newbies): Ask if you want to know something about Joe or if you donīt get the information anywhere else, some of us will give you an answer (also if itīs sometimes weird... some people here are joking around a lot)

Song of the Day: Evanescence - Bring me to life

So people, thereīs one thing left to say: bring your songs to life (for the new T2J CD)

To all of you: keep rockinī....... tune ;-)

Thanks guys for your well wishes. I am feeling kinda' better atleast the nasty stomach activities have stopped to some extent I can hear my stomach making nasty bubblin' noises.

I'm still weak as hell though and this is the longest I have been out of bed since I came from college during first period.

Ah well I'm sure I'll be better over the weekend.

Hope every one is cool, take your vitamins and such :-)

Welcome to all those who I missed arriving, Amy Lee, Uah, and to show how behind on greeting people I am...welcome Baduh, I know you've been here a while but I never said "hi" before :-)

Steve - I remmeber Baby Huey, cl. Bleep, Squidly Diddly, AND Morrocco Mole!!!

Amy Lee - Don't be offended by the personal questions. Everyone here is pretty cool. I think the questions were more for your protection then ours. I know I wouldn't want some one out therre pretending to be me and I don't have a public career to protect. Welcome in and enjoy. Let us know how much moving sucks especially in the rain ya'll are having.

Chase - Whacha studin' down there?

Mike - After yesterday I totally agree with you.

jazzy: i really like vai's new CD, yes building a church is awesome, i havent really been a fan of his voice, but for some reasoni really really like dying for your love, it might be my fave....i like glorious as well....k'm pee du wee, lotus feet - although as of right now im not big on the horns it, but it might grow in me...midway creatures i like alot too....im your secrests im not sure about yet...its weird...but interesting.....so so far the ones i skip over are firewall...yai yai and under it all....not too bad.....cant wait for the show next month...

stevee t: im good and you?

supaadave: yeah i noticed that a little....so i guessi didnt miss much except the whole amy lee thing, this is interesting....

so since i've been out for a weeks or so i have to comment on the amy lee situation....and most of you know i am a big fan of evanescence.....i do find it hard to believe that amy is amy for a few reasons...does she really have time to be chattin on a site in another "rock stars" site? if you were her would you really put your real name especially if you dont want people to treat you differently from anyone else on the site? and anyone get get all that info about her and her family because she is famous and im sure there have been many articles written about her and her life.... so i am on the fence about this.....lol...not that it matters... but if its really you....love the CD, was one of my most played besides joe and steve...love your voice....and yes you are beautiful....hope you come to Boston again soon, saw you at the avalon...loved the pink puffy dress....lol...broken is one of my faves too... and i agree with what civgeek said about all the questions and it being for your own protection, cuz yeah someone could be pretending they're you - no doubt....so try not to get too upset that people are questioning you about it....of course you shouldnt have to lie about who you are, and be able to be treated like anyone else...for some people that would be hard since you are "famous", guess that comes with the territory unfortunately....

amy lee or not you are of course welcome to this site....good luck moving....

Cuth Here is one site that has slots of stuff on New London. Here is the town paper. Eminent Domain is a very touchy thing. The big twist here is that this project is for private, not public, development. Does the possible economic development constitute a public need? That is what the supreme court is wrestling with.

Tastey - Nice to see you in again. Thanks for having my back.

Ah yes the odourmeter ,being the missed application of deodorant if you have missed an application of deodorant do not be allarmed yes you smell, simply apply the deodoarant to most exposed area of your body do not worry about reaching the back ,because its more of the front of your body which is particular ,as your armpits starv for the deodorant the pores have a tendancy to draw from further away ,thus thesmearing or application of the deodorant to your whole body being very important when you smear the deodorant will be sucked up into the pores to feed or mask the smell from the missed application.IF you do not smear when you miss you will notice maybe your deodorant isnt strong enough anymore because of the buil up of odour so yes smear the entire front of your body when you miss an application and do this whenever you miss we do not want to smell you DrWolfenstien.

Giggles: (Michelle, #4 is for YOU!! :)

My Kind of Philosophy...I don't because

1. I don't do windows because... I love birds & don't want one to run into a clean window & get hurt. (I am compassionate)

2. I don't wax floors because... I am terrified a guest will slip, hurt themselves, I'll feel terrible & they may sue me. (I am careful & poor)

3. I don't mind the dust bunnies because... they are very good company, I have named most of them, & they agree with everything I say. (I am imaginative)

4. I don't disturb cobwebs because... I want every creature to have a home of their own & my family loves spiders. (I don't but I am kind)

5. I don't Spring Clean because... I love all the seasons & don't want the others to get jealous. (I am fair minded)

6. I don't plant a garden because... I don't want to get in God's way, he is an excellent designer. (I am courteous)

7. I don't put things away because... my family will never be able to find them again. (I am considerate)

8. I don't do gourmet meals when I entertain because... I don't want my guests to stress out over what to make when they invite me over for dinner.

9. I don't iron because... I choose to believe them when they say "Permanent Press". (I am trusting)

10. I don't stress much because... "A Type" personalities die young & I want to stick around & become a wrinkled up crusty ol' woman!

grrwood - This topic comes up quite often. It seems that the general opinion, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, is to start slow. Play with a metronome, as accuarate as possible . Then increase the tempo SLOWLY. Being sure to keep accurate and your tempo tight. Over time your speed will come. But don't sacrifice speed for accuracy. That will come back to haunt you. Also, make sure you warm up your hands and stretch. It sounds geeky but it will save you pain down the road. One last thing, posture and playing position is very important. If you don't believe me I'll have you get in touch with the other guitarist in my band that has to have carpal tunnel surgery from bad playing position. Above all enjoy.
