How are things? My post about checking weekend messages was just a friendly shot to the chops. I am sure you have more impotent things to do on the weekends...;-)

tracie, I saw your post about disability training and it really made me think. I'd have to say a limb. I couldn't imagine not hearing a sound, and I would totally freak out in pitch blackness if I went blind. Not being able to speak and communicate through spoken words would be hell. Also, the difference is, you can get a prostetic to help with loosing a limb or learn sign language if your hearing or speach goes, but once you're blind, man, you get a cane and learn braile. There's still no seeing. You can always feel the vibrations of the music, which in no way is the same as hearing it, but all the beautiful things your eyes get to see everyday - your loved ones faces, the sky, the trees - I think I'd miss that the most. Also, I realize how blessed we are that we even get to sit here and have this conversation (not that we have any say in God's plan). lol!

Powerslave, "Exodus being kinda thrashy is a lot like Janet Reno being kinda butch ;-) " HA! Point well taken. lol!

mjs99, I think the aftershow passes are picked 3 days before the show, but I'm not 100% sure. Just keep checking the email you signed up here with, and keep an eye in the attendance section on the road page.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE FOR AFTERSHOW PASSES!

Geez man, I'm still 6 pages behind...

waiting for the snow....

Busy bro, tis the season. The mild winter has sales up eight percent, and we have had some really good catering orders lately. I am in construction on a new store and thats always a pain in the ass. Just another day dealing with union contractors.

I have to run. I need to turn keys over to a new renter at 8:30. Nice to hear from you, have a great day!

Michelle, Steve T - More snow huh? Our forcast calls for rain. I'm bummed it has been absolutly fabulous out here for the last week. Of course it is Feb still and should be much colder. Hopefully the snow will stop before **PA Invasion 2005**!!

962 - As for what Tower of Power to get... Their sound has not changed in 30 years. They have had a lot of singers but the guys that write the tunes have not changed. Get any that you can. You will not be dissappointed in the East Bay Groove. Francis Rocco Prestia is not Jaco but he has a distinct staccatto style that makes the band groove.

Steve T - Do you have the Live album with Knock Yourself Out on the B-side? That sax solo by Lenny Picket is the shit!!! Man that guy can play.

Rogi - Between the two you posted I would choose the S 470. I will always choose a wood body first. Also the EDR has EMG pick ups that sound the way they sound. Not much room for shaping the tone. I have an S-470 and have used for both.

Estrela, have you seen the Blackmore's Night DVD. It is hilarious. interviewing Ritchie and Candace in their "medieval" living room surrounded by candles, lutes and coats of armour. What is soooo funny is how much of a control freak Ritchie obviously still is, constantly correcting Candace etc. She must have had a hard time controlling the urge to smack him!!! There is also some cool videos and "live" studio stuff.

You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texas have been forced to take down small posters that say "IN GOD WE TRUST,"

The law, they say, is being violated.

Anyway, I heard proposed on a radio station show, that we should all write "IN GOD WE 'TRUST" on the back of all our mail. After all, that is our national motto, and it's on all the money we use to buy those stamps. I think it is a wonderful idea.

We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them shou ld be removed.

! If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT The idea of writing or stamping "IN GOD WE TRUST" on our envelopes sounds good to me.

It has been reported that 86% of Americans believe in God.

Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having "In God We Trust"on our money and having God in the pledge of Allegiance.

Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to "sit down and shut up"?!

SEARCH DRIVERS LICENSE RECORDS

Are you interested in knowing more about those interesting folks at work?

Why not look them up in the National Driver's License Records Bureau?

The bureau claims to have information available on more than 220 million drivers. And the search is free! The site also bears testament from successful searchers. It doesn't say if the objects of their searches were happy to hear from them. The bureau is located at: http://cgi.slygreetings.com/page.pl?page=53

Zinc, I have to strongly disagree with your statement - "Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to "sit down and shut up"?! " No, I think we need to tell them to "sit down and shut the F*CK up!" Just my 2 cents though.

Cuth, re women and snowfall predictions.. At least in the US the women don't have the disappointment of finding out after the fact that the number predicted was in fact centimeters...........

But how much should they realistically expect when the temperature is below freezing Brrrrrr lol....
