Cheese: well if you really want to, you can actually download 3 songs from the album on their official website and 2 more from purevolume.
1 Failure On My Lips
4 Death To Traitors - video
8 Aimless Endeavour - video
9 Allure
10 Insult To Injury
Without hearing, my life would be very hard to bear.
(ps, I won't be surprised if it's not your cup o' tea)
962: it doesn't really suck, it makes her kinda special. We just pretend it sucks to give an excuse to make a fuss.
Zenfish: "In comparison, Portnoy is a girlie" very funny. Sepultura is very percussive. Lots of drums. I like percussive music, hence my "thing" for modern styles of metal and heavy rock.
Tastey: it just means that she's only had 5 birthdays, but she's still 21 years old. We just used to make her "birthday" the day after 28/2. (So this year it's the first of March.)
Jellyman: "Tequila" >:(
Michelle: still link impaired? Just put [link] and [/link] around your urls.

Mike There will only be a lightening if the clouds don't block the sun. We are scheduled to get some rain tomorrow but who knows these days. I sat out on the patio Sat with some friends drinking Guiness until 9:30 PM. It was like springtime.

Hey guys... I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before here... but I'm looking into purchasing a new Ibanez somewhere in the 600-1100 price range and I'd like to hear from anyone who's found a JS model in this range.
And specifically does anyone know the performance difference between the tremolo systems on the JS100 and the JS1000?
I'm finding a great price disparity between the two.

Hey JS22...Don't complain about biology until you've stood in MY shoes. I got a 25 page biology research paper due on April 18th and I only have 3 pages done. And on top of that, I got a History Paper that I have to finish by this weekend...not to mention my programming homework due on thursday!
So ya see, I've got it far worse...and the bad thing is, it leaves no time for guitar playing...:-(((((
and Tune, you asked what kind of software I was considering buying..I'm gonna get a piece of cakewalk software that I found at BestBuy for 30 bucks. It wont give me the highest quality recording, BUT it will give me recording. If I want, I can make a step up and buy guitar Tracks Pro, also by cakewalk, which offers monumentally better sound quality, but with double the price. SO I really don't know what I'm gonna buy, I just know I have some money to spend on recording software...I hope this helped, and take it easy...
Amy...I hope things are going well for you, and I hope people are starting to accept you more. I was just wondering when you were gonna be releasing some new music, and when, if ever, will you be near Huntsville. It's boring down here in Alabama and I was hoping for a show or two...LOL! (Vai is on my list...he's in Atlanta in March YES!!!!)
And Mr. Satriani...WHEN ARE YOU GONNA COME DOWN HERE AND PLAY FOR US...YOUR NEGLECTING THE SOUTHERN POEPLE..AND IF YOU DID COME DOWN HERE, I'D BE THE FIRST ONE WITH A BACKSTAGE PASS...LOL
Thanks to all...and as hoiguy says..."keep pickin' in the free world"!!!

guitarnut777- hey man.. i had pretty much the same question.. this is what i was told..it should answer your question!
yeah there's a big difference between JS100 and JS1200. The 1200, like the 1000, is a full-signature model, ie. Joe would actualy play it. If you pulled a (well set-up) JS1200 off the shelf and handed it to him, he'd feel at home. The 1200 is built with all the specifiations that Joe has made, so it gets the specially profiled neck, the DiMarzio pickups, the custom wiring and the "best" hardware.
the JS100 is a cheap version, or rather a budget version. It is "roughly a JS" but without the special neck treatment, without the special wiring, without the better hardware, and with Ibanez stock pickups. the 100 isn't bad though. That said, I wouldn't spend too many hours practicing JS/Vai-esque whammy tricks on it cause you'll shatter the bridge, especially if you flick it hard.
the 1200 will put up with a lot more sh*t, but being a modern-day Ibanez, isn't quite as sturdy as a slightly older JS. It's great though, although I think it's overpriced, when you look at how much cheaper a JS1000 is......the 1000 is almost a bargain, and is definitely the one I'd choose (if I couldn't afford a JS10th).
