Keniko...The B3 blues project is a great idea...I think Joe might need to create a blues album to support the tour, as not to limit his set selection...good thinking!

If you work hard at your dreams...they will come true...

=================================================

slanshroom...no Black Tequila to my knowledge...yet...how was it?

=================================================

Steven Wilde...yo' bro' hope your day has been a pleasant one...peace!

=================================================

Suzie2000....so...how long till sound with your computer?...if I'd known I'd have sent you my pentium 166 which was slow, but it still worked very well...

=================================================

TASTEY....you're not blonde are you...you sound like a brunette? Not that it really matters....you're good people what ever your hair color is Red, White, or purple!

That was funny

Grandor....welcome to the site....

Things on Bill Gates the Knight's To-Do List

5> Get injunction against vendors trying to unbundle chips from fish.

4> 1. Challenge Linus Torvalds to a joust. 2. Make sure I have enforceable patents on the lance, mace & shield.

3> Battle the Black Knight, armed only with the dreaded Blue Screen of Death.

2> Ring for tea and when it comes, threaten to sack that commoner Steve Jobs for mixing up your scones with your crumpets.

and the Number 1 Thing on Bill Gates the Knight's To-Do List...

1> Can't pull the sword from the stone? Buy the friggin' lake!

Stevee T: Thanks dude. You did actually help. I dug up a few options at a store that specializes in rock guitar equipment. Now starts the process of saving up the dough...I'm broke :)

To all those who seem to have come down with these terrible sicknesses I've read about in the recent posts: I hope you are all recovered or recovering fully. I've read that several of the afflicted are musicians...keep it up. Nothing, in my opinion, makes someone feel better than a musical piece they love, and the better you feel, the better you'll get. A big get well soon to all my new associates ;)

Also, I know I'm new, but we all seem to make friends with each other here pretty easily, so I just wanna say that I've FINALLY gotten letters of acceptance to my first and second choice colleges! Hopefully I'll pick up some new tricks on the axe during my years of higher education...hehehe Other than that, nothing big here...keep rockin people!

Hello Satchland!!......I hope all's well with everyone......hopefully the Flu and sickness has left the T2J kingdom till next winter........I'm 13 pages behind! Oh well.... I saw a great show saturday night. Eric Steckel the 14 yr old Blues guitarist I've been telling you about. He blew me away again!! Just keeps getting better....ZENFISH>>>>>he played "Rude Mood, Born Under a Bad Sign, The Sky Is Crying, Red House, Lucille, Little Wing" to mention a few.... He's really made improvements in his playing and vocals. He's simply incredible!!! I can't wait to see him in 10 years........gonna be really F'in amazing!!! :-O He is that now.....

962: I'm so sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner Simon. You're top on my list but I've been busy and I have some other projects going so my times has been limited here.Translation: I haven't gotten to post all my replies!! hehe! I will let you know what I find out in my research of Digital cameras. I think Digital SLR is the way to go but I will let you know. I hope you are not in a rush, I just need a few weeks to do a through (sp?) search for the both of us. I am in the market for a GREAT digial camera at a great price. I'll give you my top 3 recomendations. ;-))) Yes, I'm looking forward to getting my Ibanez S series, I'm glad you approve of it as well.

Artanis l : LMAO!! "Arise Sir Mari of Pentax may you serve your King and his Country with boldnes"......That was just superb my friend. ;-))) Thank You Ben. I bow to King Joe and hope to honor him and his Country (T2J) with many more amazing photos of his Highness. It is an honor and a priviledge for me to serve my King and his greatness. ;-)) BTW: Great Link! Pure Volume....how did u hear about them?

Jazzzzzzzy- I agree with the drumming on St. Anger. I don't know what they were thinking while recording the drums. I do have to say Lars is my ALL TIME fav. drummer!! Hopefully they will do things different on the next CD. As far as going to see Vai, I am still undecided. If I do we will have to get together. I will let you know soon.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Big Bad Moon- St. Anger is the first thing Metallica did after Hetfield came out of rehab. So I think it reflects on the pain James had from all the years of drinking. I give him alot of credit. I am pretty sure the next cd will kick ass!

muzic4me5150:

sorry to butt in, but whats your take on Mike Portnoy? you obviously are a metal fan! Portnoy happens to be my favorite not for his speed, but for his knack for dropping off beat for a measure or two and filling with his incredible rolls. You seem to know what the hell you're talking about so I just wanted to know if you have any strong opinions on Portnoy, or if you're a strict Ulrich devotee...

BigBunny, hahaha, You'd just been talkin about the G' Pigs and the said "if you don't have one - I highly recommend getting an exercise bike"....of course, me, being stupid, initially understood that as "if you don't have a guinnea pig, get an exercise bike"! HAHAHA.

I think my main problem with fitness is keeping motivated. I'm not overweight or unhealthy in any way, but I'm not particularly fit either....I really should do something about it!

Steven Wilde, I'm really excited to see Mark Webber driving for Williams, i'd love to see him do well. I want Montoya to bag the championship though! hehe. Also, Red Bull Racing (ex jaguar) did surprisingly well....it's great to see Coulthard as Driver #1 at his team, rather than being the "support driver" to someone else!

How are you feeling today hombre? You any better?

tune, can you send me some of your snow? hehe. It's just plain wet here, surprise f*ck*n surprise.
marimariSRV, hey no problemo! No I'm in no hurry....got other things to pay off before I buy a decent camera! I do want to though, preferrably before June so I can take some decent shots of Vai and the orchestra in Holland in June! That's cool that you're busy with projects, I am too at the moment! Let us all know when you do get your S Series!

Also, re. your problem with photos not scanning to the quality of the original......maybe when you get them printed you should pay the extra few dollars and get them on a Photo CD too? They're pretty good these days, and much cleaner than a scan! That said, if you do go digital, it'll all be irrelevant!

mari - wow.... I'm glad that you enjoy my music so much... that's very cool indeed....
little by little I'm still chipping away at it....
it's almost done now..........

I hope the finished article lives up to expectations........

personally... I am actuallly very proud of this.....
with the tools at my disposal Iknow that I could not have done better.....

yeah... one day we may jam..... that'd be very cool...

slansh - on the Bach stuff.... one day I'd like to record a version of Toccata und Fuga in Dm [BWV565] as an electric guitar quartet.......
quittin' the beer and tabs???? tough 'un that.... never managed it myself....

so you're a martial artist.... cool.... one day I'd like to get back to the dojo... right now though I'm struggling even just to get to the gym.... simply too much going on right now..... I'm not worried though.... I'll get back into it...

stay lucky bro..

SteeveT - the real art behind goal keeping is a combination of reading the game so that you can be 'set' in the right place to receive the shot, quick feet and agility, 'soft' hands [I always encourage a keeper to catch the ball where possible... and never to punch / push it away - possession is key], timing - knowing when to 'set' and receive the shot and knowing when to come out and take a player on - 1 on 1, and a big mouth [you got to shout constantly at the defense to pick-up on where the danger is].... and lastly, reliable distribution [so you are not putting youself immediately under pressure when you distribute the ball...
tough position to play... and you're always the villain if you don't stop the shot - dispite the 4 defenders allowing the striker the time and space to ping on in off the laces.... lol..
tastey - lmao... dirty birds is what Clarky's do the best... lmao...
jazzy - lmao... I somehow knew that 'hole eatin' would appeal to you... lmao..
Steve W - that is totally awesome man.... stick at it.... do not confine yourself within the constraints and limits that you yourself and others impose and expect of you....

then you will achieve great things for which you can be truely proud...

sheer effort and determination alone can often push back the bounderies way beyond your expectations....

this will only spur you on further.....

jeez... this is so cool..... nice one...

big bad moon and silent shady, I am a huge metallica fan too. They're one of my all time faves. But that doesnt change st. Anger.

big bad moon, js22 and silent_shady, you guys have been baptised by me as Stevee T's adopted children. I'm serious.

music4me, I agree lars is a good drummer, but if you listen to the black album, lars does the exact ditto same thing in every song. However, I think the best drummer is the guy from Opeth. You should check out their album called Damnation. Its probably one of the finest records ever. Also, Danny Carey (tool/pigmy love circus) and Josh Freese (a perfect circle/wes borland) are damn good drummers. If you do decide to go to see steve vai, please let me know. later man.

Jazzy: Yes, I think Joe did something very right in his past life....Joe is blessed with the gift of greatness and (most important) kindness. It is not often that you see someone gifted with both. We are so lucky!

Hello Guthbert1776 & Jazzzzzy...
No harm done. I'm really not a "newbie", though I don't post much. I’ve been on the site almost as long as it has been up. But like Joe, I only like to post when I feel necessary or appropriate, making short comments and to the point. So let’s forget-about-it!
Now I only ask that you give my music a try and check out my web site. I’m sure if anything you will enjoy the Joe pics.
Just a quick note of interest; Joe and I are the same age, our birthdays are one day apart (7/14 & 7/15), and we both started playing guitar at the same time. Hendrix has been a main influence in our music and when he died… we both believed we had a chance to make it. Only Joe has taken it much further than I could ever imagine! Joe is the BEST!!!!
Thx,
L8r,
