jazzy- i agree.. lars is good.. but hes not great.. the black album was agood album but the druming could have been better.. he dosent do a lot of fils and stuff...not a fan of the snare on st.anger although the beats he played on st.anger were pretty good.. except the snare..and dany carey is an amazing drumer.. he has like a science on how to set up his kit and stuff..and tool is an amazaing band also.. i hear they have an album in the making.. but im not sure..

im starting to write some songs.. i realized i think i have enough talent to maby squeez it out and maby i can make a half ok song...i gotta get some recording equipment though.. well see..

Big Bunny: the thing about Vegemite is, that it is an aquired taste. You feed it to babies and small children, because of its nutritional value, and as a result of being brought up with it, the taste is appreciated. For people who aren't used to it, the taste just doesn't sit well.

Mari: how did I hear of Pure Volume? Word of mouth I suppose. I found out about the band through a CD/DVD compilation I bought for cheap...no regrets about that one for sure!

Stevee T: Vegemite has a very strong weird flavour, and is a yeast extract product. They originally made it as one of those things to feed babies for health reasons. I have absolutely no reason to believe that it can be homemade!

Artanis: am I to believe that there ARE actually aussies who don't like Vegemite?!?!? lol I went to a summer camp for years as a kid that was staffed by Aussies and I have had to endure taunts for not eating it for breakfast with them! It'd be nice to know that there is someone out there who despises the taste(if not the snottish texture) of the stuff as much as I do! no offense to any on here that might eat it! to each their own...weird as it may be...

You're lucky Nick. He forgot me in a crackhouse and I was punched, kicket, slappet, spat, durgged (that was kind cool), puked... man I am still getting therapy for that!! I don't care if Stevee is payin' for it, it's still really messed up.

Clarky: I listen to your CD and I can't believe that it's you and you are my friend...I mean I can and do but in a way it's so surreal. I guess because it's so beautiful and you are so talented...I feel the same way about Roy/ SLANSHROOM's music. The 2 of you are such genius with the guitar. Your playing brings my spirit to a higher plane. That only happens with really exceptional music / musicians. You and Roy are standing along side Joe and SRV in my soul....that's where your music has a direct impact. It's not everyday that someone's music touches your soul.....;-)))

So what exactley is it with dirty birds, and that 's what Clarkey's do?....Like Tiger right? heehee?I love Tiger and Piglet, from Winnie the Pooh....Roo too! hehe! Sorry I missed it....still 14 pages behind but i'm trying to catch up on posts. Hole eater? Hmmm sounds very interesting.....but say no more. LOL!! ;-))

Steven Wilde: Hey Steven, I'm so glad you felt good enough to go outside and play on your guitar today! It was 69 degrees here today!! Spring!! Yeah!! It makes my day knowing that you are feeling better. It is so wonderful when we talk on the phone....time flies when we talk, got so much to say. heehee! I can't wait to get my guitar so I can start........ I hope your health keeps improving. I will keep praying for God to take your seizures away....maybe all of us that believe in God could pray for you. It is very powerful when you have prayer in numbers....those that don't belive ot have another higher power can send Steven good vibes and well wishes. Positive energy is positive energy....plain and simple!!!

FablawyerSBM: Ronnie, How did the boards go? Well I hope. I'm sure it's a relief that they are done! I'm looking forward to meeting you....i'll have my portfolio to show you. LOL! I've got to show it to Steve Vai too. ;-)) I think he'll like it.....

Jazzy: How did you like the Belladonna CD? I love the title track and Colour's Bride....very haunting. ;-))

I'm still catching up so I haven't forgotten you.......Slanshroom, Ovation, Lucy Sorents, Estrella, SupaDAve, VFRocker, and whom ever I haven't caught up in the last 14 pgs when I started. I'm sure it's more....LOL!

Joeman9: How are you my friend?! I miss you!! Come back soon!

Mari

Steven Wilde: I know I'm new, and I feel bad that I don't really know you, but when I saw marimaris last post, I felt for you on a personal level. My grandmother was VERY close to me and suffered from seizures and I always remember feeling so helpless whenever she would have her fits. I'm glad to no end that you're up and feeling well. Being a musician is, I imagine, a great release for you. If at any time you need a second opinion on new material, or if you just want to make a new friend, post me or email me @ elgreco1987@yahoo.com. I hope you continue to recover and contribute to this forum. Best of luck and good will, dude.

Metallica jazzzzy and whoever it was that commented on metallicas new St. Anger. I bought the album too, but I watched the DVD more times than listening to the CD. I like watching better than listening :)
I totally understand about wishing for the Kill 'em All days to come back, but c'mon, when a band evolves and isn't makin the same music, thats when guys like us need to step up and create. It would be crazy to re-record a classic album.

Greco Guitarist: Vegemite can be compared with country music. Grow up with it, enjoy it. Encounter it otherwise, despise it. The difference between them is that vegemite is actually good for you, whereas country music is not. Personally I quite like it on toast or in a sandwich or roll with cheese. (Real cheese...)

Hmmm, I think I've got time to rush home and have some vegemite on toast...I'm feeling hungry...
