Alright guys, how's it going?

Has anyone ever heard of a 3 month back-order on a guitar before?

I've ordered a JS-1200 for picking up next month on the 16th and the store is telling me it's going to be June before they get one in stock.

Surely it doesn't take Ibanez 4 months to produce one guitar of this popularity?

The guy at the guitar store wants me to pay for the guitar when I'm there and then he'll ship it a couple of months later. Does that sound somewhat fishy or what?

Thanks in advance, Dave.

David - Hi, that does sound a bit odd- depending how far you would be prepared to travel to pick up a JS1200, I know places like the Guitar Amp Keyboard Centre in Brighton and Nevada Music in Southampton (I think!) stock them. You should be able to get them shipped to you anyway, I would think? Have a look at the website, I think it's

http://www.gak.co.uk

Hope the link works, and hope they have one in stock!

Steven - I'm ok! Good luck with the creative frame of mind today!

Looking on A dark Cloud, Something spoke aloud,

A name i knew, A name that grew, She was My Only, Hiden tear's are found, dark as this day,

I realize there was nothing to say, She was gone, The Love ran on, But Not for Me,

A dark cloud overhead, and the sun trying to break through, Oh, I can see the sky of blue,

Her way's were gold, her heart was untold, Hidden dream's, and whisper's of Joy,

But not for Me, Loking out at this dark cloud, The soft voice was aloud,

It was saying to Me,

Love for You, Love can be true, Finding the heart that's new,

Tender, and warm, Love's nest, at it's best. The dark cloud was turning inside out,

Oh, The love I was to scream, and shout. No more dark cloud to roll in My way,

A new love dose have the final say.

Thank You for waking My Mind, And being so fine, I find that dark Cloud, is speaking no longer aloud,

I have found true Love, and the distant heart's from above,

Looking on A dark cloud, That same voice rang aloud,

It is calm, I am looking over the tranquil sea, Strar's are ever so bright,

The velvet sky looking so right, The gentle mist, the soft glow, it is true love that flow's,

Silence is in the air, Maybe a whisper, The breeze from the sea, walking along, hearing the same ol' song, My Love is so far, My heart is so near,

The night is ever so clear, The cove is darker, and the Hill's are farther, Yet, The whisper is the same, true Love that flow's,

It is calm, The light of day wont be for some time, The moutain's are taking a shape all there own,

blanket's of Star's fill the sky, The air is such it make's me high, But it's true love that flow's,

Dark as the night, Light as the day, true love won't ever go away, The surrounding Backdrop, of the lighted city, with so many emotion's,and stories, tales of a million Live's, tale's of A million scar's,

emotion's are the realtiy, it matter's not How far, serene as A Lovely thought, I know That real love is not bought,

It's true love that flow's, It's true love that grow's, The ocaean, and the sand, all that washes this land,

Multi-colored sky, take shape as the horizon enter's it's new dawning, It will soon become the morn'

Glitter's of the western star's really show You whwre you are, But it's true love that flow's,

Dark as the night, Bright as the Day, Love is alway's got the positive say.

Mari - I listen to the CD and can't believe it's me too....
it must have been writen and performed by some Clarky that is really good....
he's actually setting me up so that I embarass myself on stage... cos the music is way too tough.....
where is this Clarky... me and him are gonna have words..
I think I need to do some explaining on him with a big stick in his pub in front of his bird..

ha... Slansh is an increadible talent.... he should be in the circus..

you want the details of what Clarky's do the best with the dirty birds... ?? in here.... ?? in public???

now I've just all shy... lmao...

wow.... Rosie is a dyke..... the one that the ACDC song is about....

"Hole-Eater Rosie"....... lmao..

Zen - Mari got a copy - not of the whole thing, just a couple of tracks...
because she is going to slip the CD to Vai for me when she meets him....

so she is doing me a huge favour which has the potential to be of great help to me...

the versions she has are the final, mixed versions, however they've not yet been mastered...

these are being kept very close to my chest as they say..

I posted the first article of this story a few weeks ago. The powers that be at a local school weren't going to let some kids play their electric guitars at a talent show for fear the student body could lose their minds and self distruct. Here is the EXTREMELY cool follow-up to that story ~

Twisted Sister frontman defends high schoolers' right to rock

Associated Press

HAMBURG, Pa. - Twister Sister frontman Dee Snider will go just about anywhere to defend kids' inalienable right to rock - including to a high school in rural eastern Pennsylvania.

Snider, the heavy metal star whose 1984 hit "We're Not Gonna Take It" saluted teenage rebellion, said he will be at Hamburg Area High School's annual talent show next month when students plug in their amplifiers and let loose.

School administrators had threatened to bar student rock bands from taking part in the talent show because of the potential for injuries caused by moshing, a form of dancing in which participants slam into each other.

Snider, now a disc jockey with Philadelphia rock station WMMR-FM, heard about the controversy and ranted on air about it. School officials eventually backed down, and Snider helped arrange for a security company to work the show.

"For me, it was like freakin' 'Footloose.' We're banning dancing? I'd done my time in Washington 20 years ago defending free speech, and it struck a chord with me," Snider, who testified at a 1985 Senate hearing on whether albums should carry warning labels, told The Associated Press on Monday.

He plans to be in the audience when one of the student bands plays "We're Not Gonna Take It" - and says he might even join them on stage, if asked.

"I've never gone any place where there are musical instruments present where I've not been pressured to sing, much to my chagrin," Snider joked.

I Little Imaginary Poll. TAME, OR WILD?

If you were an Imaginary guitarist that had to choose between 2 songs to submit for the T2J 2 CD, and couldn't decide between a "structured" song (with a beginning, middle & end), and a "free for all" song, which one would you submit.

His imaginary friends say...use the song that you can hum the (structured) melody to, not the blatant, chop busting, bar brawl that sounds like chaotic anarchy.....

Feedback would be appreciated. Signed, Undecided (Imaginarily, of course) lol

Powerslave, Benante is killer and is very underrated! My daughter's boyfriend is in a band with his 2 brothers and a friend. His younger bro is 13, and the kid is an awesome drummer already! They cut their first cd a few weeks ago, and I finally got around to playing it in my car (my music sanctuary). Their ages are 19 - rhythm, 18 - bass, 17 - lead, and 13 - drums, and the little dude plays like he's the oldest. lol!

Mornin' Stevee! Dee's on the radio at night when I get done working. He's a very cool guy, and not fake like some. Funny as hell too - and his son Jesse - good Lord is he a good looking kid! I imagine I'd pick the structured song, but you know how my imagination is :)

cuth, like I said, I don't like to take orders. lol! I do, however, take suggestions much better. lol!
