Hey all...I know this is more of a music forum, so sorry if I'm wasting anyones time, but does anyone know where I could score a purple denim hat like Joes? Thta's gotta be the most amazing piece of headgear I've ever seen...Mr. Satriani, or anyone who happens to know, could you tell me if the hat was home-made or bought so I'd know where to go for one??? I'd appreciate it to no end...post or e-mail me.................elgreco1987@yahoo.com

Cuth, I cannot dig info up on the fire!! I know it was back in '79 and that about 40 people died. It was a town named Chapleau in Quebec NOT, the fishing town of Chapleau Ontario if that indeed is the town of which you speak...

962 and Big Bad Moon, thanks for the responses guys. You've helped me make my decision. I'm probably going with the JS1000 which I'm finding as low as $1050 online but with that price I'd best wait for a few months. I can't help but feel that the guitar is really too good for me... indeed much better players than I use much cheaper guitars and make do.

But my only electric guitar is a $300 Ibanez Artcore, which is a beautiful-looking semi-hollow instrument and decent sounding... but lacks the punch I'd like for hard rock, doesn't have enough sustain for my tastes, and doesn't have any tremolo bar.

But if anyone else who owns a JS series guitar wishes to comment on it, that'd be cool! I trust what you guys have to say more than any product-spin vendors attach to it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a shame that Joe hardly ever tours through the New Endland area, but on the 31st STEVE VAI is coming to the Avalon in BOSTON! I'm so going to that... should have my tickets within a week.

If by some chance any of you reading now are from MA and are planning on attending the show give me a shout- though already at least two of my friends want to go- one, Shannon, is a recently converted Satch fan thanks to myself :-) It started when I sent her "Always With Me Always With You" over AOL instant messenger and she was blown away and fell in love with that song. (You just don't hear such soulful and technical mastery in music the mainstream exposes people to.) Judging by the crowds I see at their concerts... I really think guys like Satch and Vai need more female fans anyhow.

I can't wait till the 31st, should be a great show, but after the 2003 G3 show, I know to wear ear protection.

I'm off for a while... 'later gents.

Hi everyone at Satchland!

bahduh, ok friend but...you have mail :-) have a beautiful day

estrela, hi! how are things? My family is ok, good health thanks to God. Do you know an album named "Crushing Days", it's a tribute to Joe...By the way my favorite song of U2 is "The Unforgettable Fire", have a beautiful weekend

tune, your "mistical potato" drawing story is really cool. I draw and paint too as a hobby, my speciality is charcoal. And the story of the Queen Elizabeth and the Guitar Masters. is really funny, I imagine the Queen Elizabeth II listening all day to Elgar's Pomp And Circumstance March lol. By the way your name in "russian" Anerev Aburtow sounds pretty cool :-) see you

marimariSRV, cool dream about guitarists, I sometimes dream with Joe and Steve too but no-one more and I would love to dream with Stevie Ray Vaughan but never happens lol...By the way, really nice shots of Joe

Steven Wilde, take the rest you need, the most important thing is you feel better and better, today it's sunny in Madrid with an incredible blue sky and I thought of you :-) I'm going to spend the weekend, if the weather is like today, at the "beach" of my city Madrid hehe, my city is located in the center of the country but there is a kind of beach here, a nice place to be lonely and meditate.
Steven, are you going to participate in the Joe's contest? Ahhh, I wish I could fly to visit you and interview Joe. By the way, I'm so happy to see the blue words Joe wrote for you :-)))) A huge cyber hug for you and see you soon

js22, you can get aftershow passes through www.vai.com message board:
http://vai.com/phpBB2/index.php
you need to sign up if you don't already have an account, look for the show you are attending and add your name to the list. They will draw names at random for each show, and the winner will get an aftershow pass for themselves and one guest. But hurry up! that the time is very limited!

michelle, LOL for the phone story and happy weekend!

Stevee T, hi, I really love Yqin Bee's song...it's so melodic

Do the Stu, welcome back!

Powerslave214, I have a nice collection of miniature perfumes, and yes I specially love the bottle designs, I'll take a photo when I have time and post it here :-) And check this out if you are interested:
City of the Arts and Sciences, Valencia: http://www.cac.es :-)

962, I got an e-mail a week ago from the cyber-shop "The following CD Mourning Widows is delayed"" you know hehe, I'll have to wait a little more..

JOE, thank you very much for posting those words to Steven Wilde, he is incredible and one of the nicest persons of your forum

I want to dedicate this song of the day to our dear Steven Wilde

Song of the Day: Steve's Boogie by Eric Johnson

--and have a wonderful weekend everyone at the land of Satch--

Joe, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening and responding to our requests for a post to Steven. I know he is so very happy to have heard from you, and it's like a domino effect around here...not only are we incredibly happy just to see the blue and know you are still with us, but... to have you honor this particular fan in this way is just beyond words. There are so many of us here who care about Steven, and each other..we are brought together here by our common love and admiration for you Joe, and from that those feelings are stretching out around the world, from fan to fan. I hope you realise how you have truly touched so many people's lives in such a wonderful and positive way, and that your example of kindness and respect for others is being carried on to much greater heights. You are truly The Best.

And now,...............Jazzzzzzzzzzzy, ewwwwww, bleu cheese and chocolate, you're kidding, right? I can't even begin to imagine!!! I could see either one of those with wine, but the two together, just bleck!!!

Austin, IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! LOL!! Good to see ya back, and yer very welcome for talking you into the second show.....as I tell my kid repeatedly, I KNOW BEST!! :) We're gonna have FUN! And if you win the interview contest, I'm sure you need 2 assistants with you at all times to handle all the petty details for you!! Hint, hint!! :) I guess I won't even bother entering the contest now that I know you're going to, as I have the sneaking suspicion you're going to win it!! Dang...I have some fabulous interview questions, too! Try not to forget all us "little people"! lol!

Bahduh, so sorry none of my attempts to e-mail have gotten through, it's frustrating as heck... but I am thinking of you and your family! All is well here, Chris is fine, thanks for caring! When you talk to Steven this weekend, be sure and tell him hi from Tracie and Chris!!

Michelle, yep, the kitty and head bang story had me rolling on the floor, but so did your cell phone story!! Too funny!! Your life is just constantly amusing!! I'm glad you share it all with us here! Cuz yep, it's Friday and I NEEDED a good laugh at work today!!

Stevee T, hmmm, peanut butter slathering...belly button shots.. I can see where all this is going! Sounds like you're in for a great weekend!! :)

civgeek, awwwwww, scared of a little puddy tat? Lol!! Just quit running around naked in your house, and you too can enjoy some "fur therapy"! And I'm not talking about Stevee T's arms!! :)

And to everyone else, have a wonderful weekend and be good to each other!!........................Tracie

Buzz Fieten - Some one posted about the tuning system. I have looked into this a little. I haven't found anyone that has had it done. I did talk to a guy that installs the system and one of the catches is that if one person in the band goes with the system you all have to or you will be out of tune with each other. I personally use four different guitars for each gig so the cost is a little bit too much for me now. Plus I want to get some new gear, too.

Might as well hit 600 today.

Happy 600 to me.
