Just stewing over the "Top100 Guitarists" list by Rolling Stone for about the 30th time....oh well, I know it's only a popularity contest, and a suck-up to advertisers, etc, but it still gets me going...
Anyway, hope all is well. Enjoyed reading Joe's Pre-Tour message- I'm SO excited!!! Do you guys think I'll need to get to my "Evening With Satch" early- as in, how early should I line up?

Yes you did read it right, I'm sorry I have been meaning to get round to mailing you to tell you but I've been soooo busy at work and I've not got round to transferring you address to the home computer. mine went funny just 2mths after i brought it home - the magnets went out of whack. i can't use all 8 tension settings now.

I cleaned my guinea pigs hutches today too :D
I have 4 g. pigs as well - Piggy, Chewie (name after Chewbacca because he has the Wookie's hair) Woody & Buzz.one of my g. pigs died last august - Fozzie, he was such a QT!
i also have a bunny - as you can see i use her name ;)

thanx for the kind words :) the weird thing is my GP who i've seen off & on since i was a kid thinks i am bi-polar & that I could go on a lower dose? I was taking 1000mg a day, apparently that's alot.
i don't know which doctor to believe?

this is an important message to Joe on the eve of his NZ/Aussie tour.
when you arrive in Oz you will most likely find at the breakfest table a thing called VEGEMITE - this product is to only be used sparingly on your toast - do not - I repeat DO NOT use this substance like jam or peanut butter!!
used in moderation this dark brown paste tastes quite nice on bread - but when abused it tastes like shite!
i don't mean to scare you, i just felt it was my duty as an Australian who loves Vegemite, to let you know this vital tip to surviving the land of Oz!

To offer the ever popular Contrasting Opinion, I think Dream Theater's "Train of Thought" might be my favorite album by them....it's heavier ;-)
Then again, I haven't heard anything by DT that I *don't* like.
I'm kinda hoping the new Vai CD will grow on me with repeated listenings....it's not a bad album at all. It just feels like I've heard it before. I hope that makes sense.

Hey Stevee T, there's a 10th anniversary chrome boy for sale on ebay, it's got just a bit over 9 hours to go and the price is only $1225.00. If you go to ebay and list Joe Satriani, and look at the "ending soonest" time, it's in the middle of that first page.........
What I'm wondering is, any opinion from you on why it's going for such a low price? I know it could sky-rocket in the last few hours, but usually the price is pretty far up there by now. Seems odd................

LucySorets - Hy, how ´s your weekend? Cool to hear you´re drawing too, it´s also a kind of an relaxing thing to me, when I find the time to do a drawing...... at the moment (when I have time) I do only pencil-drawings, often I do them in a hurry - and for a drawing like the one that is at the fan-artwork section of this site - here´s the link for the Joe drawing - I need 2 or 3 hours to finish, unfortunately too often I do not find the time to draw anything ...... :-(
