Namm Man - Go for Steve's anthology release, or Passion & Warfare. I love his newest album (Real Illusions: Reflections), but I don't know if that'd be the best place to start for a new fan (although he'll surely play a lot of it on tour).

Hey Joe, I just joined your website 2 days ago. I'm happy to learn you are recovered from your pneumonia and intend to stick around as a member. Will you appear in the chatroom any time soon as there seem to be nobody inthere. I enjoy listening to your wonderful guitarskills and hopefully I will one day half as good as you. All my love and stay healthy, Raja-Piscean.

Stevee T, so the moral of the story is:

If you listen to me, you live longah!!

(Think Indiana Jones and Short Round in the second Indie flick!!)

Okay, I really don't have that kind of power, to make you live longer, but it will be a heck of a lot more funner!!! Glad you like the DVD!! I would not try to steer you wrong............

SteveeT......I agree....I have a Strat and a Tele....you can't beat that single coil sound. Although usually around the 4th set at a gig I'll pull out my Ibanez RGT42 to give my poor fingers a break :P I also like lots of grease too !!!

Hey all, just joined the forum and happy to be here. To Mr. Satriani, good luck on your tour out west and in Japan this year. I look forward to hearing more amazing work. One question for any who can help...I've been teaching myself how to play the guitar and I still know next to nothing about the technical aspect of it. I was wondering if anyone could recommend an amp for me that would produce more of that "ooh" type sound, rather than a twang...Can anyone help me out? anything at all would be appreciated. Peace!

forgot to mention...Thanks for the info on the hat.(I'm SORRY...I don't mean to keep bringing it up to annoy...) BUT!!! All the summer wear stores I checked have bucket hats, but nothing like joes...No denim, or if they were denim, they had daisies or something along those lines on them for women's designs...I'll keep up the hunt, but if anyone finds a raggedy denim one like the master's please lt me know. Bye!

BTW...

bigbadmoon--- thanks for the hospitality. I'm sure I will love it here! :-)

Stevee T Glad to provide you a few chuckles and crack you up!! I am sure Chrome Boy is still crackin you up as well!!! Me, the new guitar is great however the realization that an LCD TV in my future is now delayed is starting to sink in LOL!!!!

However in the immortal words of Ted Nugent " Nothin like guns and guitars, both made of a little wood and metal and both can get you dinner and p%$sy.......

Stevee T: "jazzzzzzzy...what...no Badger, Badger, Badger...I was looking forward to them......lol " you think as I do...

GrecoGuitarist: ever think to sew one yourself?

Yes, thankyou I did have a good weekend. (All the people that wished it to me.) However we did have some mishaps, one of which could get me in financial or legal trouble (or both). Not my fault, other than the fact that it was my name that we hired the trailer in. Awaiting a further phone call. Hopefully with some not-so-bad news. APART FROM THAT, everything else was pret-ty niiice.

Quote of the week: "Hi, I'm Andrew and I have bass gloves"

Regurgitated quote of the week: "There were three guys, and one of them was a girl..."

Estrela (and anyone else): want some entertainment? Go here and scroll to the very bottom of the page. If you're using windows, press CTRL-F, type "wolf" select "up" and continually click on "find next" and read what comes up on the screen. This was from the talk to joe section in May/June 2000. Some very wicket moments in there!

It gets interesting about 1/3 of the way up the page.

Stevee T - You're talking about The Elusive Light & Sound Volume I, right? Yes, I like it...but I don't think of it as an album. To me it's just a collection of cool rare stuff that is a small part of the larger Secret Jewel Box.

Listen to it with that in mind and it's very cool...
