Triplets are three to a beat. Think of a waltz. 1-2-3 1-2-3. Now slowly speed that up. You feel how the beat is divided into three? A lot of Irish reels are in 6/8 which if you count them in 2 feels like two sets of triplets. I hope that helped. It's not the easiest to explain through words alone.

Ok, I dont mean to freak you guys out but you all have to hear this. It is VERY VERY disturbing. Its freaked me and all my friends out very badly,,,,some of the most terrifying and disturbing sounds I have ever heard in my life, it could give you nightmares....so watch out. Its called sounds from hell and is trust me, its really chilling. Please dont listen to it if you're a weak person..

kendalslack, I agree with all your comments. There was one dude in front of me smoking cigarettes that seriously smelled like a pair of sweaty old socks on fire. Whatever brand they were, man were they awful.
If I could make one criticism about the show regarding Joe it was a few songs near the end (including a couple with the 7 string) that probably would have worked better earlier in the show because to casual fans it would have all sounded too much alike. By 11pm on a Monday night I could see people yawning after a long day and even longer night standing up. That's the time of the night where he needed to hit the audience with his best stuff. Flying in a Blue Dream did the trick but it could have come in earlier. I reckon Surfing with the Alien would have been a better ending than Friends. But I'm nitpicking. The show was awesome, Joe was amazing, and seeing him 15 years on after the Festival Hall gig in 1990 was a real trip.

Suzie, yeah a bit of sound proofing would be a good idea. You can get plaster board with polystyrene foam backing which is meant to be really good, and if there's any windows in the guitar room, you might want to think about what to do with them!
