Joe put on an excellent show last night !!!
I was seated up in the lounge.
Wish i got a few picks though!
It was excellent. Im still amazed by 'searching'. i still can't get the cool bit. everyone who knows the song will know what im talkin bout. i was convinced he used his whammy bar, but he doesnt as far as i saw..

Hey all, just arrived an hour or so ago in Sydney, staying with my Brother. Talked him into coming to the show tonight, he';s never seen Joe live but likes his music.. He';ll be blown away.
I'm heading off shortly to the signing. Hope there's heaps of people there (and silent hope there's only a few). That way I can't be dissappointed! :)

HEY EVERYONE....I NEED HELP....lol....i need a walk up song for baseball...i have alot in mind but im not sure what to do...i want a satriani song but i cant find a cool one to walk up to...im thinkin kashmir by zeppelein....its pretty sweet beginning...thats what i need...and awesome beginning to a song...like really cool guitar...anyone have anything in mind...?

Following a trend is the worst thing you can do. "Hell, another 'Enter Sandman'" - that's what people will think.
Pick an obscure song - House Full of Bullets may work? Simple but effective heavy rhythm - it gives people the idea you mean business.

Well, off to the signing, then to pick up my tix for tonights show. Can't wait, everyone has been raving about it.
I'll let you know how it goes, probably expect another raving satch looney on here with a "Wow, awesome, worth the wait, you rock Joe, etc, etc"... :)

Hope he can sign a few things, I've... errrr.. got just one or two items... :) Can't tie him up though, and don't want him wearing out his arm before tonight, good thing it's the pick hand! :)

Hey all, wussup?
I'm jus curious to hear what songs got you guys hooke to Joe Satriani. I heard Summer Song on the radio last April which made me check him out the next time i was in the music store. I bought The Anthology, then as I listened to the 10th song on the 2nd cd finish, I heard this awesome begining, then a real heavy riff to the 11th song. Mindstorm was the song that made me a Satch Fan. And to this day I hook more and more people onto Satriani w/Minstorm and Searching. Once they hear those 2 songs, they become big Satriani fans.
