Another track underway tonight, I've still got to record the guitars for "Sea Of Japan"...but this is my blues track I'm working on currently.

It'll be going on my album when its finished and will be the 6th track completed. Then all I have to do is shred for 5 minutes over a nicely made backing track and I'll have another of my songs called "Shreddy Bears Picnic". :-)

Des Curly, I totally agree with you. I also received the Email from this person, and of course I am jealous they won the passes over me, but as you have said, this person won the pass, give it away! Give it to someone else! I won two passes for Steve Vai last July and I gave a pass away to a guy, who on the messageboards was desperate to get a ticket just to go to the concert. I suppose everyone is different, I just hope this person has a big dose of karma come and bite him on the bum!

I don't know if anyone ever touched on this subject, but I for one would have really enjoyed a G3 concert video that featured Satch, Vai, and John Petrucci. Malmsteen's a great player and all, but I would have really perfered seeing John in the video. Oh, and Joe, have you ever considered hosting a G3 that would feature a regular band that just happens to have a great gutarist? And will we ever see Eric Johnson in a G3 again?

PASSES PASSES and more about passes.

Joe sells passes for $200 each to this community. Do you think it is primarialy because he is dying to meet you? No it is to support his family. He sells something we value so we pay for it. THERE IS NO BAD KARMA THERE!

For all who expect the lucky winner of two passes to GIVE ONE UP, for nothing, are in for dissappointment. Trust me Joe Satriani is in the business to share his art, but he also is in it to make money. Profit is not Bad Karma!

Whay do you think so many young musicians work to "Make it".

What is the difference between a musician who has "Made it" in the business and one who hasen't? They got a break that someone else didn't and they took advantage of it!

One makes a living at music and one makes a living at something else. In life one should never feel bad about holding a value to the property (or good fortune) that they receive.

If you won the lottery would you give 50% to the people that lost? No you would keep the money and enjoy your good fortune. EDIT:---- And probably use a portion as a investment to make MORE MONEY!

My thoughts.

"I feel like i,ve been turned upside down buttfucked & crucified on the fiery cross of satan"

Slanshroom: lol man, that's classy right there. The truck stories r great...lol

estrela: the truck is supposed to abused and broken. So you did a good job copy and pasting it. haha

nice beer list, delphino. I hope to try all of them tonight. St Patricks day! woo hoo!

suzie, how could you not like beer? its the ale of the gods.

tune: itunes is a cool name. But I think zenfish is running out of names for people.

zenfish, fromage de vin? fuck my french...

fablawyer: i am in a business law class. my greatest problem at the moment is pretty much litigation and to go about it. tough tough time!

silent shady: thanks for the 1700...i hope i always remain ahead of post whore extraordinnaire (who is also your dad)...Stevee T! The truck is left for your imagination.

silent shady: the first prize will be a sensual massage from Rosie O Donnel. Stevee t wins it.

music4me: hey man! i didnt know you had been to the brat stop! when I first came down to kenosha i stayed in a motel for 2 days and frequently visited the brat stop. There was this one blonde chick working whom I became friends with and she kept giving me free brats. It was tight. Hopefully she's still working there and if you do come down on monday, we should definitely hit the bar!

hmm, i never knew I am comsidered a genius at artwork...maybe when the snow is fresh and I have had a lot to drink....lol

michelle: when you see nathan east, you should ask him to replace Rob Trujillo from metallica. I think Nathan East, BB King should replace rob and kirk. how cool would that be?

hi bahduh!

scooba: hi mite? howz the snaikes? sounds from hell didnt scare you? listen to it at 2 in the morning in a dark room when no one is around. tell me if you pants dont flutter your bottom. ha!

michelle: well, i agree on the backstage pass selling thingy. its just morally wrong because, why screw someone over like that? Its definitely legal to sell, but as hardcore fans, thats just BS.

Namm Man: I see your point about the passes being 200 bucks to meet Joe and your question is why should we give a rats ass about giving ours away free? but seriously, if everyone in the world had the attitude that "I'm gonna make some money out of this so screw how you feel," I think we'll lose the human quality of mutual responsibility which seperates us from animals. I'm not saying we must not take advantage of a fruitful situation, but the question is how much better off are we after selling those free passes? because if I were to sell them, I would feel like I screwed someone over. It would work as something negative for me. And I hope Joe fans are smarter than that!

my reasoning for not supporting to sell the passes is not jealousy, but stems more from moral values. But once again, its a free market....everyone is entitled to their wish. I dont think it would be a good idea to put restriction on the selling of the passes.

Steven Wilde: thanks so much for the kind words about my art. I am nowhere close to even being the JS of art...lol my art is mainly made to amuse myself. haha

U ROCK!

Steven's website. check it out, dudes

Zinc master: 49 dollars for a pair of socks????!!! were they used as a cover for carmen electra's dildo's??? dude, if thats the case, I'm buying one...lol

" but seriously, if everyone in the world had the attitude that "I'm gonna make some money out of this so screw how you feel," I think we'll lose the human quality of mutual responsibility which seperates us from animals."

Buddy that is exactly how the world runs. The majority of people will take your money if you let them. I know this first hand.

I wouldn't sell the passes either but, I am not going to chastise the poor bloke that is. For crying out loud for all we know he may be trying to raise gas money. Or recoup some other financial hardship. I think this realization is clearer after you get burned a few times in the real world. At least it became for me.

"I'm not saying we must not take advantage of a fruitful situation, but the question is how much better off are we after selling those free passes?"

You hit the nail on the head there Jazz, we don't know what his / her situation is and how "much better" they will be for selling the passes. I as a conservative capitalist do not tend to assume if someone is too profitable or not. I mean really, how can someone make such idiotic narcissistic assumptions?

I had a young girl who works for me at one of my restaurants make a stupid comment today along the same lines.

I grabbed a bag of Sour Cream and Cheddar potato chips off the rack and started eating them. She squeaks out "Don't forget to pay for those".

I looked her straight in the eye and responded, “I did how do you think they got here in the first place?"

She didn't get it.

Hi Steven Wilde, Bahduh (Mark), Jazzzzzzy, Michelle, Suzie, Estrela, Civgeek, Stevee T, Austin, Mari, and shoot, anyone else I should have mentioned! Been in the void for a bit, some computer problems, traveling for work and kid challenges.

Steven, Estrela and Mark, I really have answered all your e-mails, more than once, I just don't understand why they aren't going through...frustrating! But I'm here, and I've thought of you and written some nice stuff! :) You just didn't get my messages!

Jazzzzy, Cheese101 here, er, 202, er, 191, errr.......I've lost my identity now! I no longer know who I am thanks to you!! :)

And I quote, from Jazzzzzy: "my reasoning for not supporting to sell the passes is not jealousy, but stems more from moral values. But once again, its a free market....everyone is entitled to their wish. I dont think it would be a good idea to put restriction on the selling of the passes." Very mature thoughts from you....and I also remember that you yourself won aftershow passes for an insane amount of shows last year (lucky bugger!!) AND offered to give some of them away to share the experience of meeting Joe, which I thought was so kind and generous of you. Just my two cents...........................

Jeez, so many posts to read, so little time...something like 30 pages in just a couple two three days!! I've really loved reading what the Aussies have had to say about the shows there...and feel bad for them that they've had to wait so darn long between tours...hope Joe is able to get back there MUCH sooner next time!!

Okay, more to read, toodles..........................
